GENERAL APPEARANCE

Keiji is a handsome young man, though spectacularly average on all sides of the spectrum. His dark brunette hair was inherited from both his parents and his chocolate brown eyes from his grandfather, whom he adores. Keiji isn't insanely tall, standing at an average 179 centimeters, and his weight is also an average 49 kilograms.

As a result of his mother's beauty, Keiji has a bright and flawless complexion. His hands have yet to be worn rough like his father's even with his love of sailing. Keiji has always been a rather cautious child, and was always protected by either Takura or his parents, so he doesn't have any lasting scars nor any piercings or tattoos.

On the topic of fashion and wardrobe, Keiji has a very plain sense of style, mostly consisting of sweaters and cargo pants. He's never really been to any type of formal gathering and the only outfit he owns that is close to formal is his Senior High school uniform.

PERSONALITY

Keiji lives up to his name in nearly every way, referred to in town as the 'Well Behaved Yamamoto Son' and considered to be a very responsible young man by his parents. He always manages to show respect to everyone despite whether they deserve it or not and according to the people around him he is completely incapable of insulting someone.

His calm, reserved, and quiet persona made him a huge target for bullies in the past, especially when his family is as popular as they are, however it tends to be as much of a magnet towards adults as well. Keiji is well liked by the older women of the community, since he's too much of a pushover to say no when they ask him for anything at all.

On the inside, however, Keiji is a bit more emotional. With those he cares about he can laugh and smile and cry as much as any normal person. He doesn't really get angry, as its hard to tick him off, and his easygoing aura makes him a relatively easy person to talk to.

Keiji's romantic life is...well, nonesxistant. He's never had any crushes or relationships and really doesn't know much about love in general, except that its a different feeling from the way you care about your parents or friends. He's gotten most of his information on love through poetry and stories, as well as from other people like his parents.

For the most part, Keiji is a pretty normal teenager, minus the lack of romantic experience. He doesn't have a whole lot of friends since he spends most of his time working or studying, and also because of the accident nine years ago, but he doesn't really seem to mind it and likes the solitude. From his point of view, the amount of adults in town who adore him pretty much makes up for his inherent lack of friends.

Boating | Whenever he wants to be alone he'll turn to his old fishing boat.

HISTORY

Keiji was born in the tiny mountain town of Yamaguchi to a loving couple, raised by a caring family and taught from a young age to be a sailor and fisherman. He was always a quiet child, having been sheltered by his parents for his younger years, but he was happy nonetheless.

The Yamamoto family is the oldest family in town, and Keiji's ancestors were once the people who founded the hidden little town of Yamaguchi. Therefore he was always held in high hoped by those around him and well doted upon by others of the community.

As a child, Keiji became the best of friends with Takura, son of the other wealthiest family in Yamaguchi. His parents were close to those of his friend and thus they were able to spend lots of time together.

Keiji was often bullied as a child, as he was taught to always be kind to others and not to fight unless absolutely necessary. It was always Takura who protected him from older kids. He hated them, even though Keiji tried to convince him that hatred wouldn't solve the problem. Of course, the problem only got worse, and accidents happened.

Takura had been protecting Keiji for the millionth time, and when it got physical the bully was accidentally shoved off the platform. Takura would've fallen alongside the boy if Keiji hadn't caught him in time.

In that moment, it was the red color of blood splattered everywhere that moved Keiji from his childhood to a mature reality. Takura was blamed for murdering the kid, since no one would listen to Keiji's pleas that it was an accident, and a day later Takura disappeared without a word. Since that day Keiji has been waiting patiently for something - anything - to show his friend was still alive and well.
