Mattias von Habsburg is a white man of tall stature, six foot, much taller than that of the average European during the time period. With average length blackish brown hair, brown eyes, and a rather strong jaw he melts the hearts of all the maidens in his court. Additionally, he keeps a trimmed and muscular body through daily activities including fencing, horse archery, fishing, and supervised mountain climbing of the Austrian alps.

Mattias has a rather charming personality to say the least. Always been a natural at the art of persuasion starting when at a young age when he could convince his overly worried mother to let him go hunting with his uncles, then snowballing throughout his teenage years and transforming him into a promising Public Speaker. One speech of notability, saved an entire battalion of Imperial soldiers against impending doom at the hands of the enemy Spanish flanking army, recovering their morale to such heights that some say their nerves became steel! Simply, Mattias' speech craft could convince you to want anything he laid out in eloquent sentences. He sometimes can be vain when pride comes into play, and cocky when it comes to the ladies, but overall he is a caring man, always trying to improve the lives of the lower class in his lands, asking the local fisheries to give the surplus to the stomachs of his poorer subjects and etc.

On a regular basis Mattias likes to travel around with simple clothes, but on campaigns you can find him in his Royal Imperial Uniform. For grand festivities in Wein he can be seen wearing legendary Habsburg armor to uphold the traditions of his ancestors. On the campaigns, he is a cavalry man; never leaving without his sword, through military brilliance he can break a tie on the battlefield with a swift cavalry flank.

Mattias von Habsburg is the son of a long line of royals. In the current date he is Arch Duke of the unified empire: the Holy Roman Empire. He was a clever boy and now an even more clever, but mostly ambitious man looking past his predecessor's achievements to bring yet more honor to his name.
