Maisie has always been a shy and quiet girl who much prefers to read a book in a corner then get caught up in the gossiping and socializing of other kids her age. She often spends her time studying and just trying to get good grades in school so she has a solid future which is what her dad expects of her.
However, Maisie is much more then that, though you often don't see it. When she is alone in her room, surrounded by her old music and random trinkets she has collected, Maisie begins to loosen up and just be her normal Quirky, Hippie like self in her baggy clothing and wavy hair with flower chains. She can often be caught dancing and singing along to music coming from her stereo and it has happened more than once that she has been caught though her window dancing randomly.
Maisie is also very Loyal and Honest. She tells everything like it is, though normally she doesn't like to as it end up offending someone and she doesn't have the confidence to stand up for herself so she starts to mutter and blush. She does care very deeply for people, and when she becomes friends with them, she is often loyal to the very end. She will try to stand up for you if she hears someone bad mouthing you though it generally just ends up with Maisie being on the recieving end of the verbal abuse.

Current Ideas - Probably Childhood friends, He has been her neightbour as long as they have known each other. She is shy and an introvert and she doesn't really have many guy friends besides him. Starts to slowly fall in love with him but because of complications (Maybe he has a girlfiend, His friends bully her, she just isn't confident enough) she doesn't tell him. Or at least, something along those line XD
