Personality: She's flirty fun cool and loving. Though when she's around her crush she looses her flirty demeanour. She always finds the best in everyone and always seems to have a smile on her face. Inside she's afraid to fall in love and get hurt or disappointed. She loves writing and can always be found with a notebook. She's very protective of her notebooks and isn't afraid to swiftly kick you if you touch it without permission. She's incredibly smart in every subject except Geography/History in which she's lucky to pass with a C. She's very sensitive about this weak area and doesn't like to talk about it. She has lesbian tendencies but only means it as a harmless joke. She loves computers and is highly skilled at it, she can hack into just about anything if needed.
Story: As a kid her dad made it big with some company and had no time for his family. Her mom abused her leaving her elder sister Tomoka to take care of her. Any time she'd take a guy home he'd fall in love with Tomoka which made her self conscious. Her sister was always the star so Rin decided to get out of her shadow and become better. Tomoka and Rin still love each other no matter what.

Aya glances over at Rin when the darker haired girl comments that no one would be able to resist Ren without a shirt. She raises an eyebrow at the girl's flirting, but continues to have a rather cheery expression on her face. After all, Rin does have the tendency to flirt quite excessive, known for being forward- rarely do people take her seriously because of this, perhaps for the best. Besides, Aya knows that she is likely just trying to grab Nakazuki-san's attention, not an uncommon venture for the girl. While Rin begins writing in her notebook, Aya herself looks over the sign up sheet for the club, glad to see that lots of freshmen are apparently interested in joining their team. Hopefully they will be good, or willing to put in the effort to improve. She hates the idea of any of them being the sort who complain about never winning, despite never trying. Hopefully no such people will join the team this year, but if they do, she'll manage to deal with it. Well, maybe not. She's never been known for her ability to hide her opinions, after all, a very blunt individual.

Aya looks up at Ren and Rin, only to see that Ren seems to be looking off in the distance. Following his line of sight, she sees the photography club booth, manned by two people at the moment. When one of them glances towards the swimming club booth, she recognizes him to have been in her class last year. Smiling, the young woman raises her hand and waves at him. She is then distracted by her own thoughts, though, remembering that she must ask the other second years what class they are in this year. Well, only Rin, as Ren and Nakazuki-San are both third years. She opens her mouth to speak, but the words mumbled over the intercom stop her, turning her words into a soft chuckle at Matsunagi-san having his words broadcasted. They so often are, though, and he never seems to care. What he says can occasionally be rude, though, and for that reason she isn't very close with him, contrary to the tendency of the more popular group to gravitate towards the members of the broadcasting club.

Back to the matter at hand, Aya turns to to Rin, "So, are you in class A- okay." She watches, unheard, as Rin makes her way over to the broadcasting club. "I'll find out later," she adds, looking briefly irritated before smiling once more and picking up a few of the swimming club flyers.

"Here, I'll help you pass out flyers," she offers, looking at one of them- they seem to be recycled from last year, not that she minds.

Rin grinned, her confidence coming back in buckets, she put the headset on ready to be on air.You know he isn't as eccentric and child like in person as he is on air, but I guess I'm not one to talk about anybody. Kay, I'm on.. everybody can hear me. "Hey new freshman and everybody else!! Welcome to Fukushima high I hope that your having tons of fun joining or hanging out with your clubs!" Rin gave the broadcasting club leader that she'd already grown fond of another exited grin, she was ready to deliver on what she was here for. Even if she only recruited a few she was a expert in popularity, people want what other people want. If there's two stores, one where a ton of cars a parked and one where's there's a few you naturally think better of the packed one. That was the angle she planned to sell at.

"All you new freshman planning on joining a club I'd look at all the different options before you choose. But if you want to join the broadcasting club I'd hurry since Matsunaga-kun has only a few places left and lots of amazing freshman interested already." It was something she researched, being interested in science, her selling point would take, there was no other option. I could earn a new friend along the way too. I wonder if he and Aya-chan are friends? This new year will be the best yet, I know it! As long as I keep my insecurity under control. "Besides who wouldn't want to do something fun like this?"

Now she felt certain that she had captured interest, even if only a spark that could easily be ignited. If one freshman came another would, wich would lead to another and so on. Her words, she felt, were precise. That was fun! Now all that's left is letting the freshman do the hard work for me. Since Takuto-kun didn't try this I wonder if he thinks it's as genius as I do! And to think I wanted to say something pointless on air. Rin handed the blonde her headset, trying to repress a grin leaving her face in a confident smirk.

When he saw Rin smile, he knew right away what was coming. "Here it goes..." he thought excitedly to himself. "Hey new freshmen and everybody else!! Welcome to Fukushima high I hope that your having tons of fun joining or hanging out with your clubs!" Rin gave the broadcasting club leader that she'd already grown fond of another exited grin, she was ready to deliver on what she was here for. Even if she only recruited a few she was a expert in popularity, people want what other people want.

Takuto smiled to himself. This girl was something, all right! He just had to have her in his club. Such enthusiasm! Such charisma! He needs more people like her on his team, and he needs this one in it!

Takuto-kun clapped loudly, Rin was a bit shocked. "WOW! You're a GENIUS! Not only that, you're.... you're perfect! Well, you're a bit rough around the edges, but aside from that you're GREAT!" Takuto said, his voice exploding with enthusiasm, Rin knew it was sincere. Perfect? I've never been called perfect. Jeez Takuto-kun! Rin found herself blushing at the compliment, furthermore she was glad that she came. "I...I need you in this club. Yes, I need YOU, Rin Orihara in the broadcasting club! Whatd'ya say Orihara-san?!". "Sure I'll join.", Rin was exited now. She originally came here to screw around but she'd actually done something useful.

"I'd be glad to." Rin said, getting a better look at the sound booth. It was true that when it came to attracting someone to something she was a expert, unless of course it was the matter of Kyouya... she knew very well if she told him her secret about playing the clarinet he'd view her better though she couldn't do it... she wasn't exactly a prodigy in music, but she was only slightly worried about what else the future may hold.

This will be fun, I shouldn't worry so much. Besides I was looking for something fun to do. Rin hardened her grip on the notebook she was holding, she just had to make her main character do something like this.

"Sure I'll join." Rin replied,"I'd be glad to."

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! That was the word that crossed Takuto's mind when he heard Rin. He then called the attention of his other club members and pointed at Rin. "Look at her! he told them, "LOOK AT HER! Come on, I know you can all be like her! Put some heart into it, guys!" With a new addition like Rin, Takuto gained hope in his club members. If they could follow her example of quick loyalty and dedication, maybe he'll even respect them.

Takuto looked at Rin. He offered his hand for a handshake. "Welcome to the team." he added.

Rin reached out to shake the hand that had been extended to her, "I feel welcomed." She gave a little wink. If Takuto-kun didn't have anything for her she was going to go find Aya and Ren to see if they needed help. She hadn't seen Nagisa-chan yet so that one wasn't a option. Writing was a option, her favorite one so far. Rin held the sacred notebook close to her. Crap! I completely forgot that I was helping them recruit members! It was too late anyways, she'd gotten side tracked.

"I'll try my best to help out!" Rin said, sincerely meaning it. Rin couldn't help but giggle at Takuto-kun's over enthusiasm. It was flattering but only slightly embarrassing. She began to like the guy, as a freind of course. He seemed to be really passionate about what he did. He also seemed to have a serious issue with his club members.... Are they really that useless? I suppose I haven't seen them doing much.

Kei looks pleasantly surprised to see that Nagato, rather than growing angrier, simply walks over to the girl and sits down beside her under the tree. Character development if I've ever seen it, he muses with raised eyebrows, deciding to stop watching now, as he otherwise runs the risk of looking just a tad bit strange. Clear in his decision, the brown-eyed young man continues on, searching for a friendly, not just familiar, face with whom he can chat whilst waiting for lunch time- already, he's feeling rather hungry, to be honest, but he ignores it somewhat in favor of his search. Takuto Matsunaga is in his year, but appears to be currently occupied with Rin Orihara, one of the more well-known faces on campus. Well known for her looks and forwardness, mostly, but not typically deemed unlikable. Deciding that three is the perfect number of people in a conversation, he makes his way towards his classmate and underclassman with a lopsided grin.

"Hey there, Matsunagi-san, Orihara-san," he says whilst approaching them, expression amused, as it perpetually is, though this time because he could hear Takuto praising Rin from several meters away. No one can ever accuse Takuto of not speaking up, that much is definitely true- his voice tends to magnify, this perhaps being why he's president of the Broadcasting Club.

"Having fun messing around with the system, Orihara-san? From what I heard from a few miles away, you're joining Matsunagi-san's club, eh? Good luck dealing with him," he jests, clearly not meaning any harm, though some people do think of Takuto as having enough personality to be difficult keeping track of. Kei likes that about him- he's loud and energetic, things that Kei always has favored in a person, as it is. Besides, the two are in the same year, so he's seen Takuto plenty enough to get some hint at his personality, probably.

Of course, Kei does pride himself on being rather good at reading people, something probably developed over a recent history of perfecting the art of molding. If need be, he can become someone completely different than who he is- perhaps he doesn't do it as often as he had when younger, but the insecurity that fuels the ability remains strong enough for him to continue to be capable of the feat. Part of the skill is being able to get a good idea of a person's personality from even a tiny glimpse.

As both of the club members affirm her statement that the Photography club must be fun, Aya finds herself smiling again. She's always been good with situations like these, even if she also tends to move out of smalltalk very quickly. Most people will agree that the girl has a lot to say, but at least she's not going to trap someone with talk of the weather for half an hour. A tendency to ignore awkwardness to the best of her abilities also allows the girl to bypass the tense silence that might normally follow someone saying something overly strange- shes' quite fond of the strange, anyway. Well, people who say strange things, or have quirky personalities, anyway. She finds it interesting, and always seems willing to pester such people into some form of friendship.

"Right, I've seen the pictures in the newsletter- they're pretty cool. There was one of a few people eating lunch that I liked last year," she recalls, the picture actually having been of some people in her class last year, though she hadn't been part of the group photographed. The energy expressed by the photo made her smile, and she had actually kept the article it was paired with by her bed to look at for a while. As far as artistic skill goes, Aya has little to none, but she still likes to look at the works of others.

When Sokichi says that he is willing to try out for the team, Aya lights up once more, "Awesome! Our try out date should be on the flyer," she tells him, because the flyer also has the time, which she isn't completely sure of. Having gained at least one possible team member, Aya begins to turn towards Fuuko for her response. Unfortunately, it is a polite decline, as Fuuko would apparently rather not try for the team.

"Oh, well, that's fine- maybe next year?" she adds optimistically, though she doesn't know how likely it is that Fuuko will try out next year if she isn't doing so this year.

"Good luck dealing with him." Rin turned around to meet the voice. "Ah, I'll try my best!" Rin grinned. I've never met anyone I couldn't handle. Though, she could tell that he had a loud, forward personality. She wondered why he wasn't more popular, but then again not everybody liked 'forward' personalities like she did. Though the girl was very friendly and.... less... flirty once you got to know her, she knew a handful of people who probably didn't like her.

"I'm sure we'll get along fine, I like him already." Rin said honestly, then blushed. With her type of personality, even though the only person she wanted was Kyouya, the statement could easily get confused. Rin had had this one-sided love for Kyouya for two years now. Inside she was very fragile, the whole thing was painful, not that she'd plan on telling anybody. The only person who knew that much was Aya-chan, she planned to keep it that way. "You two are friends?" Rin lifted a eyebrow.

The thought soon came to her that senpai would be the appropriate term for Takuto-kun. She was insecure about her age, among lots of different things, reason being that Kyouya was in his last year. But more importantly, she never saw Takuto and Kei as friends. It left her wondering if Kei was as forward and honest which was another thing she liked in people, explaining some of her and Aya-chan's friendship. Matsunagi-senpai? So stiff sounding...Takuto-senpai.... eh, how about a simple senpai. Why does he have to be older! I hope Kei-kun is nice, he looks that way. Rin stubbornly didn't like admitting anybody was above her, not from over confidence but from insecurity. Senpai wasn't a thing she'd say easily, she would have to make sure Takuto-kun was a nice person. She absolutely hated mean people.

"Right, I've seen the pictures in the newsletter- they're pretty cool. There was one of a few people eating lunch that I liked last year." "Hmm...that was Fuuko-chan's photo." Sokichi thought. He likes that photo, but he wanted himself to shine too. Though Fuuko seemed to be more seasoned and experienced in that kind of photography, Sokichi was more on photojournalism, and a little bit of studio photography.

"Awesome! Our try out date should be on the flier." was Aya's reply to him going to the tryouts. He checked the date on the flier, gulped, and decided to tuck the piece of paper away for a while. He needed some time to prepare himself.

"I'll...be there." Sokichi replied at Aya, and tried to force a small smile. Swimming. The word itself made his shudder.

"Hey there, Matsunagi-san, Orihara-san." Takuto turned and saw Kei near the booth. "Having fun messing around with the system, Orihara-san? From what I heard from a few miles away, you're joining Matsunagi-san's club, eh? Good luck dealing with him."

Takuto leaned a bit closer and he sat at the edge of his seat. "Hey, watch it Takamaru-san! I think she can take the heat!" Takuto replied with a chuckle.

"I'm sure we'll get along fine, I like him already." Rin said honestly, then blushed. Takuto's usually energetic expression changed into a bewildered one. Very few people seemed to actually "like" him, and he was surprised that Rin became one of them in a span of a few minutes. Kei, too, is one of them, though Takuto is yet to discover this. "You two are friends?" Takuto heard Rin say. He immediately reverted back to his usual expression.

"Well...not really, but I think we are..." Takuto replied, scratching his head in apparent confusion. Though he is good with socializing, Takuto never considered anyone as a "real" friend, and thus he finds the concept of friendship difficult.

"...well not really, but I think we are.." Takuto responded. "Oh." Rin was still wondering why he looked so shocked when she said she liked him. After putting two and two together she figured he must not be used to it. Meaning he probably wasn't very well liked, his honest and forward personality was something she liked but she could see how not everybody would.

"You two hung out a little then? After all senpai you guys are in the same year." Rin said the last sentence jokingly, of course they knew that. Rin didn't think Kei-kun and Takuto-kun were in a club together, so it was the only logical explanation. Takuto seemed... modest to her. The guy had a personality disorder. On air he was one way and in person the next. Not that Rin minded, it just made him that much more interesting. It was a weird feeling, Takuto made her feel.... comfortable. She hadn't flirted with the two guys in front of her yet, well other than that wink not really. She enjoyed the break, but she had a feeling it wouldn't last.

"Awesome as Hecky," Aya says when Sokichi confirms that he will be there for the tryouts. She sticks both thumbs up, though it looks slightly awkward because a small pile of flyers is still being held by her right hand, and flops over her arm when she shifts it to free up her thumbs for the encouraging gesture. Naturally, Aya doesn't really think much of it, though she does eventually return to holding them normally, smile not fading. If there were some sort of contest for how long one could genuinely smile, she'd at least be second runner up or something along those lines. As it stands, now such contest seems to exist. So, she'll just have to make do with the swim team, and later in the year, trying to propel her class to success during the school festival.

"Alright, it's been nice talking to you! See you at tryouts," she tells him, planning to go and pass out more swim team flyers- Aya is nothing if not an active participant in things such as these, and doesn't want to miss any chance to get lots of cute little freshmen on the swim team. Besides, there may be some undiscovered gem, who won't join the team unless someone passes a flyer to them. That's her thought process, anyway, though it may not be particularly true to reality. With her parting remarks, Aya walks away and straight into a bundle of first years, who don't see her coming and jump three feet in the air when she suddenly speaks up just behind them. A few minutes later, however, she has convinced them to at least take flyers, and knows all of their names. Aya has always been rather good with faces and names, or so she likes to think.

After that group of freshmen, she decides to go check back at the table once more, where Ren continues to man the station, albeit somewhat reluctantly. "Increased our freshmen count yet, Mr. Captain? Wouldn't want the club to run dry once all of the seniors graduate, right?" this may be a legitimate concern, as she had heard from last year's seniors that the club, until the last few years, had often been struggling to gain enough members for a half-decent team.

Kei raises an eyebrow at Takuto skeptically- he doubts that very many people can keep up with the young man's pace, which at times can strike Kei as almost frantic. Then again, he himself is a lot slower paced, far more relaxed in nature that is, and therefore likely has a somewhat skewed perspective. "Don't burn her out, man," Kei responds with a good-natured tone, mostly just joking, though the warning does hold true to his concept of Takuto as fast-paced and unlikely to be able to really connect with people enough for them not to end up just being dragged along for the ride. The two aren't exactly friends, he knows, and because of this Kei is able to observe that, in complete honesty, Takuto doesn't really appear to have friends. Not close ones, anyway. He finds the way that Rin blushes kind of amusing, because the reason for it is somewhat, to him, transparent.

When she asks if he and Takuto are friends, Kei shrugs, because it isn't really the case. Kei is the sort who talks to lots of different people, but that doesn't mean he's friends with everyone whom he greets in the morning. He side glances at Takuto, who tries to formulate an answer, but comes across as very uncertain. "You hurt me, Matsunagi-san," Kei says, clutching his chest and rolling his eyes up dramatically. The fact that he calls Takuto 'Matsunagi-san' should be some indicator that they aren't particularly close. "Well, yeah, I suppose so. We've been classmates before, but that's probably about it," Kei adds another shrug as he says this, with his palms raised towards the sky in a "beats me" kind of gesture.

"Speaking of- what class are you in this year, Matsunagi-san? I'm in 3A."

Rin soon realized she'd been thrown out of the conversation, she decided to seek out Aya-chan and headed away from the sound booth with a wave and a wink. On her way she saw someone snapping at Kyouya and a girl she recognizes as Seika running off. At closer examination it was Ryota, she never learned his last name. Ryota was the type of guy that she didn't like, he came off so mean. He said something she couldn't hear in a much more gentle tone. A small smirk creeped up her face, So he likes Kyouya-kun. Or at least it's a theory, well that's something interesting. Although... it would be rude to comment on it so I guess I'll just go find Aya-chan, wherever she is. Rin wasn't the type to get jealous over something that wasn't hers to begin with, but that just gave her a even bigger determination to make him hers. Though it never seemed to work out....

"Seika huh? Kyouya will love me for sure if I can convince her to join his club." Rin muttered to herself as she walked.

Now the real question was could she convince her friend to help her. It would be much easier that way. I'm being naive, the only thing I would achieve from this is maybe a affectionate pat on the head along with a warm thank you. Besides, I'd have to figure out a way to intrude without making it seem as if I'm intruding. Oh, this is so complicated! Ok think clearly, Seika is a bit of a loner. That doesn't mean she'll accept kindness easily. The best thing to do would be to just honestly tell her your intentions. Join or not you tried. It should go something like..... 'Kimura-san, you play the piano right? I just wanted to ask you to at least think about joining the music club. Kyouya and Ryota aren't as bad as they might seem to you'. I don't know! Why can't I skip to the part where Kyouya tells me that he's grateful and pats me on the head. I get flustered and confess then he tells me we should start as friends!

Caught up in her un realistic daydreaming she'd almost run right into the girl she was looking for. Though Rin was forward, flirty, intrusive and obsessive....... admittedly. Reckless was one thing she wasn't. Rin was the type of girl to classify all insects and arachnids as highly poisonous, aggressive, armed and trained in hand to hand combat. Which she did. So this was a mission she'd need help on, Aya-chan had to of been used to her constant exploits for getting Kyouya's attention. "Hey Aya-chaaan." Rin tapped her on the back with a devilish look on her face, it probably gave away her intentions. Not that she cared. Though she hoped Ren didn't tell and ruin the surprise.

"Awesome as Hecky," Aya says when Sokichi confirms that he will be there for the tryouts. She sticks both thumbs up, though it looks slightly awkward because a small pile of flyers is still being held by her right hand, and flops over her arm when she shifts it to free up her thumbs for the encouraging gesture. Sokichi returned the gesture with a tip of his hat and his own thumbs up, which he does with a hand-horns and a slight tilt of the hand. It was his signature style, and he was seemingly the only one who uses it.

"Alright, it's been nice talking to you! See you at tryouts," she tells Sokichi before leaving. He tried to reach his hand to wave, but she was busy with some freshmen and can't see him. Sighing, he decided to forget about it and just leaned on his chair. In some time, he will swim. Whoop-de-doo.

He turned and saw Fuuko. Sokichi hoped she didn't notice anything...strange.

Takuto Matsunagi

Takuto looked around and saw that Rin went off to some other stuff of hers. She belongs to another club... he thought to himself, though he doesn't see the significance. Whatever the reason, Rin seemed to leave him to talk with Kei by himself. He decided to suck it up.

"Speaking of- what class are you in this year, Matsunagi-san? I'm in 3A." Takuto heard Kei say (it rhymes! :O). "I'm...also in 3A!" is what Takuto managed to bring himself to say, "I guess we're classmates again, eh? It'll be fun."

Paiyaku's father drove off to work after dropping Paiyaku off. He looked up at the towering structure of the school before sighing and walking quietly towards his class. He eyed the people in the halls as he passed them. When he found his homeroom door he stood quietly, unsure if he should go in yet. Paiyaku watched the people nearby and listened to their conversations. Every so often he would check the door to see if anyone had gone inside yet. He finally sat down and studied the marks on the floor.

"Are you excited for your first day?" Paiyaku's father asked while watching the car in front of him.

"I guess." Paiyaku sighed.

"I guess? When I was your age I couldn't wait to go to school."

"Didn't you drop out?"

"Of course not!"

"Oh..."

The ride couldn't be long enough. Paiyaku wanted to go see his mother, but his father restricted his visits.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, Dad. Just tired."

"I know you're worried about Mom, but you really need to focus on school."

"I shouldn't go see her?"

"I didn't say that, but you spent all day Saturday in her room, the hospital had to call me to get you to go home."

"I miss her."

"I miss her too and I go see her as often as I can, but I gotta take care of you and keep a roof over our head. I'm saving up so when she recovers we'll all go on a trip."

Paiyaku said nothing the rest of the ride and just studied the Tokyo skyline. He would be at school soon, the obstacle he had to overcome so he could go to the hospital. He promised himself he'd go see her every day. Even if his father was too busy to do it, there would always be one of them by her side.

"Well here we are!" His father said as he slowed the car to a stop at the drop off area.

"Have a good day!" He called as Paiyaku closed the door behind him.

Akane felt a little embarrassed when they both suddenly laughed at her, but she didn't mind it. It was a pretty stupid thing to say. Akane smiled widely when the one twin finished the other one's sentence.
How do you do that?! That's so cool!
Akane's eyes were basically sparkling. She'd never met twins before, so she was really excited. But before she could get an answer, the lunch bell already rang. Akane stood up and stretched her legs and arms out. She had been sitting on that bench for over 3 hours already.


Ren Fontaine


Ren looked over when he heard a familiar voice. It was Aya. She seemed so cheerful all the time, it was amusing.
Actually, yeah. A lot of freshman did sign up. It's getting a bit late, so I'll have to wrap up after lunch.
Their almost conversation was cut quite short when Rin came back. That look she had on her face... She was definitely up to something. She's always trying to get Kyouya's attention, but it seems he's often occupied with other people. Ren straightened out some things on the table, assuming they would have some "girl talk". Kyouya was clearly busy right now, so he just sat back down lazily in his chair.
