Rigby's Story

A tall blue jay and a small raccoon are cleaning up the auditorium with their broomsticks. And it seems like they have finished their jobs.

"Well, that's the last of'em." Mordecai wipes his sweat off his forehead, "Let's take a break."

"I don't know why we have to clean up all the time?! We need to get a better job than this," Rigby complained, "Why can't we teach people instead of cleaning up?"

"Dude, you know that Benson doesn't trust us too much. Remember that one time we tried to fix the coffee machine?"

"Oooh yeah..." Rigby thinks, "I wonder if it's fixed by now?"

The front door opens up, revealing a robot with one wheel. It's Claptrap, and he just got a job as an acting instructor.

"Hello, co-workers!" Claptrap approaches, "Guess who got a new job at the auditorium? The one and only Claptrap!"

"Wait... ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Rigby is shocked, "I THOUGHT BENSON PROMISED US WE GET THIS JOB!!!"

"So what if we don't get this job?" Mordecai is cool with it, "We can still teach students with something else..."

"You won't get this job until the day I die, squires! As long as Claptrap is in charge of instructing people to act, I will maintain the balance between chaos and order!" Claptrap then asks Mordecai and Rigby, "Now then, who are you two supposed to be?"

"Mordecai and Rigby." Mordecai introduced, "We've been working here ever since the university was opened the first time."

Benson enters the auditorium and finds out that the entire place is now squeaky clean. Although Benson is impressed by Mordecai and Rigby's efforts, he still can't trust them for slacking off their jobs. He approached the both of them while Claptrap watches.

"Well, you two did well. Not bad." Benson said, "Now you have one more place to clean up and you're all set for today."

"Alright, cool. What's next?" Mordecai asked.

"The school cafeteria."

"AW COME ON!!" Rigby complained, "Can't we just get a better job? Like teaching?! This janitorial duty is making us look like losers."

"Look, I can't trust you two slacking off from your jobs. And as for teaching, slacking is not the kind of benefit for teaching the students." Benson sternly replied, "Now get your butts oh..." Then he looks at Claptrap.

"Oh, no need! We've already met each other since I got here." Claptrap then finds an idea, "HEY!! I just had a great idea! Maybe the bird and rodent will be my lackeys! They will support me as my acting buddies! I can even ship these two without worrying abo--"

"Dude. No." Mordecai narrowed his eyes at Claptrap, "Not gonna happen."

"Actually, that's not a bad idea!" Benson smiled a little, "Forget what I said about cafeteria duty. I'm putting you two as Claptrap's new assistants."

"Wait- what?" Mordecai look shocked that he and Rigby are promoted to Claptrap's assistants for the wrong reasons, "Dude, we can't work with him!"

"He'll probably whine too much and complain how his acting career went down the drain." Rigby added, "OOOOOH BURN!"

"The only thing you can do is help him out with something because almost every acting teachers need an assistant or two," Benson replied with a reason, "And if you don't help him out, you're f-"

"Wait! Who will take care of the cafeteria?" asked Mordecai.

"I..... don't know--- LOOK, don't worry about it! I'll get somebody else to work on it."

Benson leaves Claptrap in charge of Mordecai and Rigby, and he now leaves the auditorium. Claptrap now has "minions" to play with and will need them to help him out no matter how hard or stupid they are.

"How about a little Claptrap Beatbox Time?! POW!" Claptrap starts rapping, "Unce! Unce! Unce! Unce! Unce!"

"STOP TALKING!!!" Rigby screamed.

"Hold it. I heard a crash outside." Mordecai checks through the windows and see Principle Theodore's injuries, "AH!!! THE PRINCIPLE IS HIT!!"

"Hah! Serves him right~ He didn't pay us too much anyway." Rigby scoffed.

"Dude, this is serious. His ribs are broken because of the impact."

"That means I'll never get paid!" Claptrap screamed, "GRANDPA STINKY IS GONNA KILL ME!!!"

"You care about yourself more than the principal, huh?" Mordecai asked.

"What if I don't? Robots don't have a heart. They can't even pump blood."

"Look it up in the thesaurus and check the definition for 'compassion'." Mordecai suggested.

"..... Nope. Not in my dictionary." Claptrap shrugs.

After watching the video provided by Monokuma, Mordecai, Rigby, and Claptrap were shocked that this school is turning into a deadly reality TV show ran by a crazy bear that hated people.

"I DON'T WANNA DIE!!!" Claptrap freaked out, "OH GOD! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!? I'M NOT SAFE ANYMORE!!!"

"Kill each other to graduate??? Booooo!" Rigby heckled, "That's like trying to win the race by shooting at the other racers!"

"Yeah man," Mordecai looked worried, "And that bear wasn't kidding. What if he says we can't play video games?"

"Wait... He's not serious, is he?" Rigby looked afraid.

"I got a new job for you two minions!" Claptrap spoke in front of them, "You two will have to protect me from anything murderous and humiliating. Just letting you know that if any of you ditch me, I will resort to harmless violen-- HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"

Mordecai and Rigby did not answer and head for the cafeteria to meet up with Skips.

"......" Claptrap sighed, "I'm lonely..."

A blue jay and a raccoon walked into the cafeteria to meet up with their snow white coated friend. "Hey Skips. Did you hear the news?" Mordecai asked, "Some stuffed bear hijacked the university and used it as a sick reality show."

"That doesn't sound good." Skip replied.

"No, that sounds worse than you think!" Rigby spoke, "He said that in order to graduate, we have to kill somebody!"

"WHAT?!" Mick angrily got up, "That little wanker ain't gonna tell me what to do! I already got a life in culinary arts!"

"Roadkill counts as culinary?" Rigby was disgusted by his words, "Am I supposed to be offended?!"

"Look, we need to think of an esca---" Mordecai noticed the surveillance camera, "Umm....."

"Think of what?"

"How to..... escape the boogeyman...?"

"HAH! Boogeymen? You think that guy was the boogeyman?" Mick laughed, "Big deal! I can cook up a good boogeyman for Halloween parties!"

"Attention, attention. All students and faculty should report to the library at once for a very special meeting. Again, every bastard in this school should report to the library pronto!"

"AWWGGHH... Now?!" Rigby responded, "Fiiinee... It's not like we care about his stupid... hey, Mordecai, something wrong?"

"I really don't know." Moredcai suddenly sees names and level numbers above the characters heads. All of a sudden, a notification pops up in front of him. Apparently, only Moredcai can see "windows," not other people.

An aggressive mastermind just ordered you to go to the library. It is an urgent matter.

"Mordecai?!" Rigby yelled.

"Oh, sorry. Just... seeing things... Come on guys, let's go see what he has to say."

The staff members in the cafeteria leave the room and go to the library. But what sort of strange essence did Mordecai suddenly pick up?

Mister Torgue: AWW SNAP! THIS LOCATION HAS ALMOST REACHED ITS MAXIMUM CAPACITY!! BLAME THE POPULATION!!!

The rest of the students and faculty arrive at the university library. It wouldn't be quiet anymore now that there's so many people around here. Many people complained about Monokuma's dictatorship, but some people are cool with it. A few wouldn't care less because they think Monokuma wasn't serious.

Meanwhile, Mordecai sees a notification window that nobody can see, saying that he completed his quest and earned 500 experience. He gained a level.

"Okay... this is starting to get weird." Mordecai commented, "Should I go to the doctor about this?"

"I dunno." Rigby shrugged, "It's like you're in a video game or something."

"Tch, as if "Trash Boat"." Mordecai read Rigby's text above his head, that somehow shows his name, "Heh heh heh..."

"I thought we agreed never call me that stupid name!"

"I know, but what I'm seeing is that your name's Trash Boat above your head, and you're level 1."

"I'm level 1?! How does it even make sense?! I'm much skilled than that!"

"Minions!! I thought I told you two to protect me from murderers?!" Claptrap meet up with the slackers, "You know I can deduct your salary until you hit rock bottom. As your new boss, I will give you orders, and if you do what I asked, then--"

"You're level 5." Mordecai commented Claptrap, "And your title said your a cowardly robot."

"How do you know...?" Claptrap noticed Mordecai has something, "Oooh, I get it! You got a gift for playing too much video games. Allow me to explain to you, meatbag! Every time you level up, you get to pick which ability you want to put in. The more you input, the better skills you get. Your stats will affect yourself and thus making you a badass! How's that for a small explanation, minion?"

"Dude... sweet!" Mordecai smiled.

"I learned that by reading a manga... from South Korea!" Claptrap guessed.

"Is this gonna take hours?" asked Gutentaag, "Ja, it will take hours- it just puts people to sleep while in a middle of a meeting. Why does he have to invite everybody over? It's ridiculous."

"Hell would be a better place than this mess..." Jurgen commented, "....Wait-- NO I DON'T WANT TO JINX IT!"

"Excuse me?" Gutentaag looked at Jurgen, "Huh. Nevermind. Just stop whining and we'll be fine."

"This meeting is boring. I'm going to get a cola..." Muscle Man walks off to the vending machine, only to find out that it only has Pepsi, "HEY! What gives with a cheap drink?!!" Then he destroyed it by punching it.

"You know this whole shit is your fault, Red." Blue is still mad at Red for ruining the university, "Just look at these people. They're scared right no-- what are you eating?!"

Red is munching Roger's hand. "Mwaff?" He talked with his mouth full, "Muff meaffin' mrieff fooff."

Kaoru was listening to claptrap's explanation. "Ah, that explains it. But the wierd thing is, the only game i've played was Sword Art Online, where I was trapped in for atleast 2 years together with this guy and Mordecai." Kaoru points at Ted.

"Huh, what?" Ted looked up while he was drinking the last cola from that vending machine.

"I wish I was trapped with you, babe." Red flirts on Kaoru, "'Cuz this red guy's gonna fuck ya allll night long!"

"It says you're level 2..." Mordecai spoke to Kaoru, "The red guy is... Level 9001?!"

"'Cuz I'm awesome!" Red grinned, "Best part is that when this meeting is over, I'm gonna teach this girl what sexual education is really about!"

"You really wanna get laid, do you?" Blue questions Red's attempt to bang Kaoru.

"Yeah, I just lvl'd up." Kaoru said, ignoring Red.

Suddenly a notification pops up in front of Ted:

Ted started to run around the library like crazy.

Professor Layton arrives at the library, keeping his wits about him.

Zenmei, Chaperon, Alastor, Quartz, Kotonoha, and the new kid arrive as well, ready for whatever tricks Monokuma might have.

Peacock, of course, is still bound in the boiler room.

Ted calmed down and fell on the ground, very tired.

A notification popped up infront of Ted:

A skill has been created though special action.
Through running constantly for atleast 1 minute, the skill [Running endurance] has been created.

"Geinig." Ted said as he presses away the notification and continues to rest.


"Mordecai, we should check out what we can do with this abilitiy. We have to wait, anyway." Kaoru suggested.

Tesla and Connor arrived with the others, while Mike just looked at the large flood of people coming in.

"Good thing this place is big, because this is a huge crowd here." Mike said, looking around.

"What do you think, Connor?" Tesla asked. "Any chance we'll find this guy here?"

"Maybe," Connor answered. "This could just be another part of this wacky game they're playing, but we might find something."

Zenmei is so bored, he's scraping the fourth wall with his diamond claws.

"I said no breaking the fourth wall! Don't you people listen to your principal?"
"Ah, but there's the problem I called you all here to talk about."
"See, when I took over this school, I thought it would be a bunch of people killin' each other to get out, you know? People have places to be, other things they want to do... Plus it would be a barrel of laughs seein' powered individuals trying to prove how good they can kill without having powers! But..."
"NONE OF YOU PEOPLE ARE EVEN TRYING TO KILL EACH OTHER!"
"And that kinda makes me sad, you know? So I figure, if I want to keep my rep as a big bad bear there's only one way to salvage this situation..."
"BLOW YOU ALL TO SMITHEREENS!"
"See, I warned you all I had bombs around the school ready to blow you to smithereens should anyone try anything funny! And archer man breaking in certainly counts as something funny!"
"Too bad, so sad, but at least you know who to blame when you're in hell!"
"See you later, suckers!"

A loud voice comes over the loudspeakers - "TEN SECONDS TO DETONATION"

"Eh? That's not supposed to sound so close to me. What the hell happe-"

A loud boom comes over the loudspeakers... but the school itself seems fine. Apart from a hole blown in the library wall, revealing an unconscious Junko next to a Monokuma puppet and several powered-down computers, one with an arrow-shaped hole in it. It seems the mysterious boy from earlier, in cutting off power to the barrier, also managed to cut off power to most of Monokuma's devices - without him even realizing it! As for the bombs, well, there appear to be several spent charges of C4 around Junko, placed there who-knows-when. It seems that the students were freed by the boys well-timed intervention - even the traps keeping Peacock in the boiler room are no longer working!

"That was anticlimactic..." Mordecai blinked.

"Does that mean we are free at last?! YES!!" Jurgen raised his arms in triumph, "WITH PURE LUCK, WE ARE FREE AT LAST!!!"

"The best part is that the principal is not here! You know what that means?!" Red starts a hardcore party, invites a lot of sexy girls over to school, and dance like a maniac, "PARTY IN TRACGAM UNIVERSITY!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The music started off with [url=www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mg248PSWrCs‎]Red's favorite music of all time.[/url] As the music plays loudly, sexy girls are drinking booze and strip like drunken sluts. Colorful lights are everywhere with no chance of seizures.

"WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Muscle Man rips his shirt off and starts twirling around, "Don't be a bunch of party poopers, ladies! With that stupid bear gone and that principal out of the way, we can do whatever we want!!!"

"WHO WANTS SOME BOOZE, MOTHER FUCKERS?!!!" Red shouted out loud.

"Oh God.... I am so... so... sorry.." Blue looked ashamed.

"Don't worry. Until the principal comes back, Red will have to sit through detention." Skips replied.

"See? Just gotta do what you know you're capable of," the young archer said.

"Um..." Quartz's body gave off some kind of azure pulse. "...there's nothing but dead bombs left. Don't worry! I'll help dispose of them."

"You?" Zenmei asked, raising a brow.

"Yeah, I've...actually been wanting to join the bomb squad when I grow up," Quartz explained. "My dad said it takes a steady mind and steel nerves...two things I...lack."

"In...any case, we should see about bringing this girl to a cozy high-security cell," Chaperon said, calling in the cops. "To think that she alone rigged all this..."

"Hey, you don't need special magical powers to be a threat..." the archer commented with a shrug.

A portal soon opened up next to Claptrap and Steve. Out of it hopped Peacock. "Phew! Thought I'd never make it outta that in one piece."

Kotonoha, meanwhile, is cheering while hugging Sekai and Makoto tightly.

"...Say, you never gave us your name, kid," Zenmei said to the archer.

"Oh, my name?" the archer replied. "...Orion."

"Orion...nice name~!"

This actually caught Layton's attention. A young stellar archer named Orion? No, surely this has to be a coincidence. Still...

"Well... I have no idea what this was all about. But I'm glad those bombs didn't explode." Kaoru said.

"FEESTEN!!!" Ted started to dance with some drunken sluts.

Suddenly, the lights went out. The music stopped playing, the sexy women did not make out, and the DJ just had a heart attack.

"AHH!!! IT'S THE GHOST OF THE DERANGED TEDDY BEAR!" Claptrap screamed.

Then the lights went back up. The party was ruined by Benson, who just arrived.

"Benson?" Asked Claptrap.

"Did you do this?" Mick also asked, "Wait a minute, I thought you were with us."

"Aww!! You're ruining the party! Party pooper." Rigby complained.

"WHERE'S RED?!!!" Benson screamed at Rigby.

"Ooooh ho hooo man... UNIVERSITY ROCKS!!!" Red was drunk and puked on the floor. Maybe he had too much fun. "WOOOOO!!!!!"

"AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!" Benson raged his veins out, "YOU TURNED THE LIBRARY INTO A STRIP CLUB!!"

"Strip club?" Makoto perked up with delight. Apparently there are sexy women swooning around him.

"FIRST THE ATTEMPTED MURDER ON THE PRINCIPLE, THEN THE TAKEOVER, AND NOW THIS?!!"

"Benson! Calm down! I'm sure we'll clean everything up." Mordecai begged, "Look, we'll do it tomorrow. How's that?"

"But the library is huge!" Rigby complained, "Besides, it's not our fault that we started this party."

"I can explain everything, please!!" Blue begged for mercy, "Red was like that ever since Monokuma was defeated by a group of individuals."

"AND YET HE STILL RUINS THE SCHOOL!!!" Benson screamed even more, "THAT RED GUY LEAVES ME NO CHOICE! RED, YOU'RE EXPELLED!!!"

"I'm graduated, bab--" Red belched and vomited.

"Serves you right, asshole." Blue said to Red, "School is supposed to be a place for learning, not for partying. Well, at least he won't attend to Tracgam University anymore." Suddenly, the faculty and students stare at Blue. It seems that Red is not at fault here since Blue got Red involved in a fiasco. "Why everybody staring at me?"

"AND AS FOR YOU, BLUE," Benson screamed at Blue, YOU'RE FIRED!!!!

"WHAT?! I didn't do anything wrong!!"

"You were supposed to restrain him from making property damage in Tracgam University! I will not allow your friend to keep treating this as his personal strip club!" Benson finished his reason, "Pack your belongings and get out of the university!"

"RED, YOU SON OF A BITCH! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!" Blue went berserk and thrashed on his so-called friend Red.

"BRING IT ON, COCKDANCER!" Red breaks the bottom of his beer bottle and counter attacked Blue.

A whistling noise was heard above Red and Blue...and they got pinned under a piano!

"You heard the gumball! Beat it!" Peacock chided, making a portal appear below the piano, dropping it, Red, and Blue out of the school. "Some people...!"

"(!) Oh my! Look how late it is!" Quartz said, accessing the time from his Chrono-Meter.

"What - ? How is it nighttime already?" Zenmei asked. "Damn, I knew we shouldn't have twiddled our thumbs..."

"{sigh} Well, this incident gave me a deal more papers to fill out tomorrow," Chaperon said, "so I must retire to to bed soon. Good night, all."

"We are ready to depart," Alastor said, clearing a way for Chaperon as they left.

"Makoto? I'm going to bed now," Kotonoha said. "See you tomorrow morning?"

"...And what about you, Orion?" Quartz asked the archer.

"Me? Uh...yeah, I'm just gonna find my own bed," Orion replied. "Right now, any bed will do." He was just about to leave...
