Twilight Sparkle's Story

As normalcy was brought to the Bell Tower, a light shone down on the shore of Nikko Island. From this light appeared those that made direct contact with the Tower Key and led the effort to revitalizing it.

Karasz, Toniyo, Leilanie, and Renna appeared first. After that was Red, Claptrap, Steve, Peacock, and Valentine. Zenmei, Qwark, Heavy, Dr. Y, and Ramses also appeared. After that was Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Jagger, Rainbow Dash, Ganymede, Ted, and Chell.

"Uuuooogh..." Peacock took a moment to get herself reoriented. "So, uh... {looks to the Bell Tower in the distance} guess that's a day saved, huh."

"YEAHA!" Rainbow Dash cheered. "Did you see that? That wave just toppled the whole Metal Legion! {laughs} I don't think they'll be bothering anyone for a while!"

"I for one am a bit skeptical on that," Jagger replied, "but for now, we can relax...relatively."

"I know, right?" Zenmei said. "But we really owe this victory to the world."

"Right. We couldn't have done all this on our own," Twilight added.

"And that's why there's always somepony willing to lend a hand, right?" Spike said.

"So," Valentine said to Red and Leilanie, "I suppose that's one mystery finally explained. Glad my hypothesis was correct."

"{laughs} Indeed," Red replied. "Who knew that treasure was the key to protecting the planet's greatest treasure?" She tapped the center of her chest as she said that last bit.

"Yeah, I suppose so. But hey, we learned a very important lesson from all this." Leilanie chuckled.

"Something tells me that we may have not seen the last of Plantium and the Metal Legion." Karasz spoke, "But with him out of the way, the world is safe once again."

"Da. It's good." RED Heavy spoke.

"And I believe we all deserve a small R&R, am I right? That's a true hero's award!" Captain Qwark said.

Steve looks at a pouty Claptrap and scratches his head. "Heyoo?" Steve spoke at him.

"Not now, Steve... I'm so depressed..." Claptrap is whining over the fact that he did not get the treasure from the Bell Tower, "What am I supposed to do without it? The fame's gone! Kaput! My whole opportunity is now a bunch of skag s-*BEEP*... Aww..."

"Hey, you can't win treasure all the time." Toniyo replied to Claptrap.

"I can't help but feel sorry for him." Leilanie sighs.

Ted was completly useless in the whole fight, all he was doing was throwing some stones at Plantium.

Dispite this, he was very proud on himself and the team that they won the fight.

"What a thrilling experience!" said Ganymede. "It has truly been an honor to work with you all!"

Renna had been drowsy through the whole victory of the team, managing not to go fully unconscious thanks to her swashbuckling raising. She hardly noticed them arriving on Nikko island, it was all mostly a blur anyway. She groaned, and sat up. She tried to stand up, and did. For 2 seconds. Luckily she was caught by Chelle at the last minute, and Chelle held her up around her shoulder. Renna took a minute to get back to a relatively normal state, but still needed Chelle to lean on. She smiled wearily at everyone, and gave them a thumbs up. "Good work everyone. Even you Claptrap, you were... The sticky stuff that holds us together, yeah, that's it." She grinned awkwardly then pressed a button on her goggles. When Chelle looked at her quizzically, she smiled. "It's an emergency button." She looked around at the whole team, and jerked a thumb behind her. "I could give you all a lift." She had no sooner spoken the words when her ship, the S.S Starswirl landed softly behind her. Renna looked around at everyone's expressions, and slowly broke out into a smile.

Zenmei stretches out as he stood. "Yup, another day saved - " Then he felt something hit him in the head. "Ow! Hey, who threw that?!" He looked down at the ground...and saw that what hit his head was a mid-sized gem! "...Oh."

In fact, each person (and robot) present found a gem right next to him/her.

"Whoa - !" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Are you seeing this?"

"Huh," Red stated, "I guess these are tips for a job well done."

"...Catch." Peacock tossed her gem over to Claptrap and Steve.

"Same. Catch." Valentine tossed her gem to Leilanie.

Ramses takes a gem from Dr. Y.

"Payment," said Ramses. "For services rendered."

Ganymede tosses his gem over to Dr. Y.

"I don't need this," said Ganymede.

"THERE IS A ROBOT GOD AFTER ALLL!!!!" Claptrap holds his gems up high, but stops lowers them down and looks at Peacock. She did the work too... He looks at Steve who nods at him and maybe she might need it. Maybe one gem is enough. Claptrap tosses one gem back at Peacock, "Actually, you can keep this one. Consider this gem as your reward for helping me out, Minion. If it wasn't for you, I would have been scrap metal by now."

"Valentine! Uhm... this is all sudden." Leilanie said.

"Well look at this!" Captain Qwark picks up his gem, "I consider this as a reward for our efforts for saving this bundleful planet from total annihilation. In fact... I have an idea with this!"

"This gem is red...!" The Heavy picks up his gem, "Hmm, it reminds me of Mother Russia. I keep this gem as my trophy. RED Team will be amazed." He sees Ted with his own gem, "Hah hah hah! Tiny man also have gem!"

Ted is happy too but has no idea yet what to do with it.

Peacock was surprised that Claptrap gave her gem back. Reluctant to accept such gratitude, she reached over and picked it up while trying not to smile.

"Just imagine - in a few weeks, this baby'll be even bigger and more succulent!" Spike said about his gem.

"{laughs} Well, can growing it wait until we get home?" Twilight remarked. "I've still got to report the results to Princess Celestia, and the materials are back in Umaville."

As for Valentine, she began walking away from the group, at least until Red's voice stopped her: "Hey, Valentine! ...I'm actually surprised by your actual stance during all this."

"Heh, you wouldn't be the first to say that," Valentine replied.

"So then why did...?"

"That's a story for another time, I'm afraid. For now, I must resume recon."

"Recon for...?" Jagger asked.

"...I'll let you know when I find something." With that, Valentine tossed a pill-bottle smoke-bomb to the ground, masking her departure.

Suddenly, a UFO flies up, stopping next to the S.S. Starswirl.

"About time that got here," said Ramses. "So. Who's getting a ride with me, and who with the space pirate?"

"If it's all the same, I'll make my own way back," said Ganymede, walking towards the water.

Ganymede raised his arms skyward, causing a large platform made of sand to rise out of the water. Ganymede lept onto it and patiently waited to see if any others wanted to travel that way.

"We're heading the same place, Ramses," said Dr. Y. "I guess I'm with you."

"Like old times, eh?" chuckled Ramses.

Dr. Y suddenly slugged Ramses in the face.

"Gee," said Ramses. "What happened to the message of friendship from before?"

"... Just don't mention old times again," said Dr. Y. "I'll... make it up to you."

"Well, ma'am, I suppose you wouldn't mind giving me a lift? After all, my ship is still in repairs." Captain Qwark speaks to Renna.

Karasz is too shy to ask Leilanie to marry him. But with self-confidence, he walk towards Leilanie. He hopes that he will not screw up. Leilanie looks at him and and presents him with a gem.

"Wha-..?" Karasz blinked, "Leilanie? That gem belongs to you..."

"I know," she replied, "But I've been thinking about you lately. Well- despite all that shit you've been doing your duty as a freedom fighter and all- I wanted this to propose this as... how should I say this..." Then Leilanie shushes Karasz up with a finger, "I'll think about it."

"H-Huh?"

"You wanted to marry me? Don't lie to me, bucko~" Leilanie smiled.

"H-How?!"

"Ninja-like mind reading." She replied, "Like I said, I'll consider it..."

Karasz's face went red and is bolstered with excitement. Toniyo smiles at him for his successful attempt to ask Leilanie to marry him, even though she knows him.

"Looks like ol' Claptrap is about to go home. I wonder if the guys at the cafe misses us?" Claptrap leaves with his cohort Steve, "Come on, Steve! The party is calling for us!"

Spike hops onto Twilight's back as she and Rainbow Dash lift off of the ground, flapping their wings. "I must admit," Twilight said, "this whole experience has been rather...well, enlightening. I hope we can meet again someday!" And with that, the ponies (with the baby dragon) took off for Umaville.

Zenmei and Jagger joined Ganymede on the sand platform. "I'm gonna be PRET-ty busy when I get back to Tracgam U, that's for sure," Zenmei said. "A big thank-you's gotta be published on tomorrow's school paper for everyone who helped us!"

Peacock followed alongside Claptrap and Steve. "Hey, if it's any consideration...you guys ain't half-bad to be around."

Red, not in any hurry yet, decides to take a breather at Nikko Village. So that's where she's gonna head to.

Renna grinned at her fellow captain, pleased at least one more new person was coming with her. "It would be my pleasure, captain." She didn't even need to look to catch her gem. She held out her hand and it landed in the middle of her palm. She looked at the sparkling purple gem, and smiled. "Even though I almost got knocked unconscious, this is a just reward for helping save a planet." She looked up at the ponies, and quickly threw something into twilight's saddle bag. "It's my contact details!! We should definitely meet up and talk about Starswirl sometime! With hay bacon!" She grinned and gave Twilight a thumbs up before managing to stand on her own without Chelle. She sighed happily, and turned to her ship, ascending the stairs to the door. The door opened with a hiss, and Renna jumped aboard the S.S Starswirl, and laughed with joy. "It is GOOD to be back!" She did a little jump, but almost fell over she resorted back to walking. "Um well, all who are coming with me hop aboard!"

She looked at Karasz looking dreamy eyed at Leilanie and whistled sharply with two fingers. "Oi lover boy, that means you two too!" She grinned and shouted to the remaining people on the sandy beach. "All aboard for Corona!" She pressed a small button by the door and the ship emitted a loud TOOT TOOT noise like a train. She grinned and walked up to her seat in the bridge. She tapped at her hologram desk and set the course for Corona. When Captain Qwark walked in, she smiled and asked; "Where are you headed? I'll alter the path so we can drop you off, or anyone who comes with us for that matter, if anyone else does come." She grinned and put her hands behind her head, looking the captain in the eyes.

Ted hops aboard, but has no idea where he should go to.

Dr. Y and Ramses get in the UFO, flying off for the Rotten Rabbit Tavern, as Ganymede's sand platform flies off with Zenmei and Jagger on it.

OOC: (Edit) WHOOPS! Rainbow Dash, Spike, and Twilight aren't here.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash (carrying Spike) have just flown back home after the adventure in the Bell Tower. It felt good saving the world like that, but even better to unwind and relax after all that.

"{yawn} Oh boy..." Spike stumbled off of Twilight's back. "I think I skipped two nap times during all that. I better... {yawn}"

"Of course, Spike. It is getting pretty late, after all," Twilight said. "Go on, you earned it."

Spike nodded drowsily and headed to the library to sleep.

"So Twi, how long will this report take?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh, it'll be a while, Rainbow," Twilight answered. "But I intend to finish it by tomorrow noon - "

"OMIGOODNESS OMIGOODNESS OMIGOODNESS!!"

"(!) That sounded like...Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash said in alarm. "Leave this to me! You've gotta get a head-start on that report."

"Um...o-okay," Twilight said before going into the library. With that, Rainbow Dash sped off for Fluttershy's cottage.

Rainbow Dash soon reached the cottage somewhere near the edge of the Everfree Forest. There, several small woodland creatures were in a commotion about something - accompanying them is a yellow pegasus with a long pink mane, as well as her right-hand pet Angel Bunny.

"Ohhh, what do I do, what do I - ??" Fluttershy then noticed Rainbow Dash flying over. "Oh! Hi, Rainbow Dash. This...really isn't a good time to chat."

"Why not?" Rainbow Dash asked. "...What's happening here, anyhow?"

"Well..." Fluttershy tried to think of a good way to explain it. "...You know I'm good with any animal, right?"

"Heh, the best I know!"

"Yes, but...what I've got here..." Fluttershy motioned for the animals to move out a bit so Rainbow Dash can see what they found. "I don't know much about...treating cyborgs."

Indeed, the animals had found what looked like a human girl with a robot dragon head, tail, wings, and limbs. She seemed to be unconscious, and some of her mechanical parts were cracked, smoking, and sparking.

"...so the heart of the planet will be safe for another 500 years."

Twilight and Spike have finished writing their report on the events surrounding the Bell Tower.

"Phew! Thought we'd never finish that," Spike commented. "But just think of how Princess Celestia will react to this! Man, she'll be ecstatic...!"

Rainbow Dash had already left Fluttershy's cottage to meet up with Twilight in regards to the cyborg, leaving Fluttershy and Angel to watch over her.

"Oh, you poor thing..." Fluttershy said, gently patting the cyborg on the shoulder. "Whatever happened to you to cause this...?"

Just a few seconds after Fluttershy said that, some sort of sound could be heard from within the cyborg's chest - like a heartbeat, but with a more electrical sound. Suddenly, the cyborg's visor flashed brightly and...

Rainbow Dash made it to Twilight's library. "Hey, Twilight! You'll never believe what just happened near Fluttershy's house!"

This statement made Twilight cock an eyebrow in a puzzled manner. "...After what we've been through, I'm inclined to believe anything at this point."

"Right, so we found this - "

At that moment, two shrieks were heard from the distance - one sounded like Fluttershy, the other sounded like it was computer-synthesized.

"(!) Know what, hurry over right now! Something bad must've happened...!"

"Uh, right! Coming!" Twilight followed Rainbow Dash to Fluttershy's cottage in a hurry, leaving Spike stymied.

"H-Hey! What about...oh, right." So, he plopped down in his bed to catch up on missed nap time.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash hurried to Fluttershy's cottage. When they arrived...

"Don't worry, Fluttershy! I got Twilight, and we'll sort...this...?"

...they saw Fluttershy hiding behind a half-fixed table, and the cyborg hiding behind a couch in a position suitable for strategic fire.

"Y-You'll never take me in!!" the cyborg cried out. "I won't let you experiment on me!"

"N-No, no experimenting! Just...Just a little TLC, that's all!" Fluttershy whimpered.

"TLC...? What is that code for?!" the cyborg replied, confused.

"Alright you two, knock it off!" Twilight shouted. She then approached the (still nervous) cyborg, who aimed her claw at the alicorn.

"W-Who are you?? Are you in league with the paradox?!"

"I'm Twilight Sparkle, and I represent Ponyvi - wait, paradox? What do you mean?"

The cyborg lowered her claw a bit at the mention of that name. "Twilight Sparkle? One of Dream Valley's newest rulers...?" Twilight nodded, a response that eased the cyborg's nerves. "And... {looks around} none of you knew about the paradox?" Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy shook their heads. "Oh..."

"Y'know, this is some way to thank Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash grumbled. "I mean, all she did was find you and tend to your injuries! Or...fractures, whatever!"

"(!) She did? Oh dear - !" The cyborg comes out from behind the couch, advancing a step toward a frightened Fluttershy. "I-I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the current surroundings and...!"

Fluttershy didn't say a word - she just trembled, wide-eyed.

Rainbow Dash had the stiff-with-fear Fluttershy moved onto another couch while Twilight sat the cyborg down on the first couch.

"Now, let's start things over from the top..." Twilight said. "What should we call you?"

"Me? I..." The cyborg thought long and hard about what her name might have been. She soon recalled a word that many others have said while speaking to her. That must be her name. "...Xi."

"Yeah, we get that you're as shy as Flutters here," Rainbow Dash said, not getting the point.

"No, that's my name - Xi." The cyborg even traced an X-I in air with her claw.

"(?) Errr..."

"I think she means it's spelled 'X-I', Rainbow," Twilight pointed out. "So Xi...what's this you said about a paradox?"

"Ah, yes..." the cyborg, Xi, continued. "Some time ago, there was a disruption in time and space. I don't know when I went to pursue it...I can only clearly recall encountering...something horrifying before a rift back into this realm broke open."

"Something...horrifying?" Twilight responded with concern. "Is that what damaged you before your fall?"

"I think so, yes."

"So, uh, question I've been wondering," Rainbow Dash interrupted. "Who the heck made you? I mean, you're not exactly a robot, but you're not exactly human, either."

"(?) Made me? Errr..." Xi tried to think on this...but could barely remember anything regarding the subject. All she could think of was fearful screams of "...alvanr" or whatnot.
