Physical Description: Umbra originally manifested as a female Koopa with long hair, around Alex’s build, only made entirely out of an inky black sludge. She can transform into any form she pleases and alter the coloration of the sludge, however, making nailing down her true form impossible.

Personality: Umbra is sadistic and all in all creepy, being the embodiment of lust – she wants to bone pretty much anything that moves, regardless of gender, but not out of any actual love for them. Viewing other beings as nothing but toys, she is completely unrepentant about the evil she does, since it feels completely thrilling to her.

History: Summoned to the world when Alex’s girlfriend, Isabella, was murdered, Umbra turned into the Pure Shadow of Lust and was one of the representatives needed to summon the apocalypse… but when that plan failed she went off to do her own thing. But right in the middle of devouring souls, her old masters came back aiming to ritually consume hers for its power. Retreating as quickly as possible, Umbra now lives (kind of) on the side of justice, only because she feels it’s easier to stay there than go off on her own and take her chances…

Equipment: Umbra does not use or need equipment.

Abilities: Umbra’s sludgy body renders her immune to most traditional methods of attack and lets her shapeshift her form any way she pleases. She can also shoot streams of poison and sludge, cause poison to empower her physical blows, and call the souls she has consumed (oh, right, she consumes souls, in case you didn’t figure that out earlier) to fight for her – nothing on too grand a scale or she risks letting them go, and she would never have that.

Other: Umbra is a “hero” only because she’s safer there than on the other side. She makes no secret of how little she thinks of others, and will go right back to the side of darkness when it’s clear that her masters don’t want to ritually destroy what little remains of her soul.
