As he enters the temple, he quickly comes across Fatum in front of the fake Prognosticus, several incense candles burning around him. Fatum opens his eyes.

"In less than a minute, several men will enter this room and try to kill us," said Fatum. "You're going to stop them."
The wolf-man looked over his shoulder toward the temple entrance. Sure enough, there was faint noises of a struggle just outside...
"Here they come," said Fatum.
Several Majestic troopers armed with machine guns burst into the temple and open fire on Fatum (and the wolf-man if he happens to be in the way). Fatum, though, seems to have disappeared before they even pulled the trigger...

In response, the wolf-man spin his blade around, creating a Tornado to deflect the incoming shots. After that, he followed up with a Blind Blow attack, casting a ripple of darkness into the Majestic troops, inflicting blindness.

Since it's already pretty dark in the temple, it's very difficult to see the Blind Blow coming. As such, the Majestic Troopers, taken by surprise, are all blinded.
"GAH!" shouted one of the Majestic troopers, wildly firing his gun into the air.
"Jesus, man!" said another. "We're freaking blind! Have you considered NOT firing that thing?"
The troopers all back up, getting closer to one another for protection.

"Now to bring you to your knees!" the wolf-man growled, rushing to them and striking into their legs and arms with the force of the wind chakra attack Garoutokkan. This should incapacitate them good.
The Majestic troopers are indeed dropped to the ground as the blindness wears off.
"Jesus!" said a Majestic trooper. "Fatum's got a freakin' wolf ninja workin' for him now?"

The wolf-man approaches the downed troops, pointing his blade at one's face.
"Enlighten me," he said. "What business does your sort have in my nation?"

"It's not gonna be your nation much longer, freak," said the trooper with the blade in his face. "And you aren't gonna be around long enough to figure out why."
"...Alright, I see YOU don't have an answer," the wolf-man said. With that, he slapped the side of the blade against the troop's ear, and then cast through the blade a strange otherworldly noise that would make the affected troop faint in agony.

The troop indeed faints. The others, glaring at the wolf man, bite down on something and begin convulsing wildly and painfully.
"Oh, don't mind them," said Fatum, suddenly behind the wolf-man. "They tend to do that whenever something goes wrong."

"Dammit," said Majestic. "There's another failed attempt... Fall back!"
As quickly and quietly as they entered, the Majestic troopers retreat into the shadows.
"Oh, don't mind them," said Fatum, suddenly behind the wolf-man. "They tend to do that whenever something goes wrong."

Seeing as the troops weren't going to live long enough to talk, the wolf-man sheathed his blade.

"I told you," said Fatum. "They came to kill me. On orders from a fellow calling himself Mockingbird. This isn't their first time and I suspect it won't be the last. My congratulations, by the way, on a swift takedown. I couldn't have done it myself, but I suppose you already figured that out."
"Well...I'll see if we can't get anything more from this one," the wolf-man said, taking the fainted troop, "and perhaps disable whatever suicide methods he has."

The Minil-Lurker's attack on the area above has had an effect on the underground, too. The seismic shock from its nuclear blasts made several chunks of stone dislodge from the ceiling and come falling down.
One of the falling chunks heads straight for Fatum... who, without opening his eyes, just takes two steps to the left to dodge. It's right about now that Colonel and his troops come back.
"What's going on?" asked Colonel.
"I believe it's high time we made our exit," said Fatum.
Without any further words of explanation from Fatum, Colonel picks him up, pulls out a thin, cloth-like piece of rope, and ties Fatum to his back before rushing out of the temple base, along with several Pokémon. The rest do their best to hold the temple up and give them time to escape.
