"Now as for the rest of you," said Dr. Y. "I hope our last encounter with that horse has demonstrated to you how important it is not to rush ahead. If we are to get our key, get off this moon, whatever, we'll have a better chance if we stick together. Is that clear?"
"Da. We fight together like big men." The Heavy agreed with Dr. Y. Sticking together is important than fighting over treasure. "It is not wise to squabble like baby chicks."
Anyway, Jagger didn't take kindly to Jurgen's taunt. Not only were his fists sparking now, but his eyes were radiating a similar neon green. "So are you! But if you want me to change that - !!"
"JAGGER!" Zenmei shouted, grabbing Jagger's arm and snapping him out of his angry trance. "Cool your turbines! That's the same attitude that got you shackled!"
"..." Jagger steadied his breathing gradually, up to one complacent sigh. "Right..."
"That's better." With that, Zenmei took a seat on the ground, mulling over the situation. "Though...I guess we can only blame ourselves for jumping into this mess - " He paused a moment to reconsider part of it. "Uh...! E-Except for you, Doctor. A-And Heavy. You just wanted to see how Qwark was doing..."
Peacock took a seat next to Twilight, lighting up one of her many cigars. "Say...is it any irony that most of us have something in common after all?"
As Peacock puffs her cigar, Twilight waves the incoming smoke away with her wing. "Something in common?"
"Yeah, seems we're all...edgy in some way. You know?"
Jagger looks to his hand, more relaxed now than it was a moment ago. "Can't argue with that. I almost lost my cool there..."
Zenmei then realized something. "Wait - maybe that's why we were brought against Ortus - because of some glaring flaw we share!"
"Better than Claptrap's farin', I bet," Peacock stated. "Guy's pathetic without someone to lend a hand, you know?"
"No doubt Qwark's stumbling over there," Zenmei commented. "Not that he's completely useless, of course, but..."
"Well, it may be boring here, but it is more relaxing than what we were just facing," Jagger added.
"Oh yeah, them Metal Legion goons," Peacock agreed.
"Heyoo....!!!"
"What is wrong with bandit?" The Heavy asked, "Why are you concerned?"
Dr. Y and his Platoon have never actually faced the Metal Legion in battle, but that's probably for good reason.
"Then this is no time to lose our cool!" Jagger replied. "Big rule on the force - lose your cool, you might lose yourself."
Zenmei caught his breath once more. "R...Right..."
"I agree..." Twilight Sparkle spoke up. "If we do get back and unlock the tower...we may be in for a big surprise. But...it's certainly not the time to flip out!"
Ted stood up and punched his hand "Laten we die paard dan maar in elkaar slaan!" he suddenly spoke up, trying to encourage the others to beat up that horse.
"We kunnen nauwelijks slaan het paard als het ons kan stoppen in onze tracks voordat we dicht," said Dr. Y. "We moeten niet te verliezen onze tempert omheen."
In almost-perfect Dutch, he informed Ted not to think about beating up the horse, since it can stop them in their tracks easily, and that the group was trying not to loose their tempers around it.
"Wat moeten we dan doen? Hem voeren?" Ted asks.
"We werken aan dat, maar in de tussentijd, doe niets overhaast doen."
"Pity," Double commented, still holding Jurgen captive.
"Agh - !" Zenmei nearly jumped. "...Sheesh, I forgot you were still here! {catches breath} That's fine. That's...okay."
"...So how much longer do we...?" Peacock asked.
"Long as it takes, I guess," Twilight answered.
"Right..." Jagger said, eyes closed and breathing steadied. "Stay calm...don't move...wait..."
"W-Wha - ??" Peacock stammered in surprise. "What's with the magic sparkles??"
"I-I was hoping one of you would know!" Zenmei responded.
"...It is time," Double commented.
"Heyoo?" Steve shrugs.
"Oh great, now I look like an emo vampire zhat sparkles in ze movies..." Jurgen referenced Twilight (not the alicorn.), "Not talking about you though.." He spoke to Twilight Sparkle.
Recklessness is an option. But, one must have humility in the situations that one cannot overcome...especially not on their own. Lose control...and you may lose yourself.
Norrin Radd considers the whispers he had been hearing, even out in the farthest reaches of space. Events were apparently transpiring on Unitas, events that could have catastrophic results for the entire universe. Curious, he had decided to return to this world, to see what was occurring--and if he could help to stop it in any way. It seems that evil would never let go of its grip upon this beautiful world...
And that's when the Surfer notices a golden figure on Galinia's surface. Curious, he flies down towards the figure.
