The deepest darkest area of the Everfree Forest. Little is known about this place, but ghosts seem to love it because it's so shady and secluded. Rumor has it there are tunnels that extend the marsh far below sea level. Who knows what lies within the depths of this dark place...?

Pinkie Pie led Applejack, Pac-Man, and Charlie deeper within the Everfree Forest, soon coming across its darkest center yet. Idle dark waters, twisting tree roots, and soft ground decorated this area.
"{whiffs} Ugh - ! That's such a weird smell for water!" Applejack commented. "It smells all musty..."
"I know, right?" Pinkie Pie replied. "Ghosts must LOVE that musty stench!"

Then they realized - they've walked right into the marsh's muck, and they're stuck in it! To make things worse, they're sinking into it slowly!

"Oh no! Quicksand!" Pac-Man is struggling to get out, "I can't move!"
"Oh, fuck my life..." Charlie groaned.

"Ah, dagnabbit!" Applejack exclaimed, unable to pull her hooves loose from the sticky muck.
Just then, Pinkie Pie poked her head out of the muck. "Hey, you won't believe what I just found down here!"

"No, silly," Pinkie replied. "If I found death down there, I wouldn't be talking to you now. C'mon, let's go deeper!" With that, Pinkie dove back down under the muck.
"{gulp} Well...doesn't look like we can go anywhere else right now..." So Applejack held her breath and dove down under the muck's surface.

It was sticky and dark and gross, but the layers of muck soon led to an underground area (amazing how all that muck adheres to the sides like thick pudding). A tunnelway is visible in this chamber.
Pinkie Pie was there, waiting for the other three. "See? A secret area! Isn't this the coolest?"
"{catches breath} If you...say so," Applejack replied.
"C'mon! Let's explore!" Pinkie continued as she headed for the tunnel, Applejack following.

"We should go say hi!" Pinkie said, following the tunnels to the cackle. Applejack reluctantly followed.
"I really don't think this is such a good idea, Pinkie Pie." Pac-Man warned, "You don't know who you're dealing with here!"
"We're this far in..." Applejack said, tilting her stetson. "Bit late to back out!" With that, she followed Pinkie Pie inward.
Pinkie Pie seemed especially attuned to this sound, following it with an almost giddy smile on her face. They crossed the pathway into a gigantic underground cavity extending far down. The path continued on what looked like a root to the large central stone tower that goes from top to bottom.
"Sounds like somebody's havin' a party over there." Pac commented.
"Don't stop the beat, y'all! The party keeps groovin' on!" a funky voice from the party spoke, "We're celebratin' the king's anniversary as the ruler of all ghosts! Make sure you bring somethin' awesome or you will not party with the ladies."

"(!) Called it~" Pinkie Pie whispered to the other three. They carefully approached the closed doorway to the tower structure.
The four enter something that was previously stated by the voice. A large raving dance club. Everything is flashing and colorful in the dance club. Thousands of creatures, including ghosts, demons, mummies, zombies, and even Boos, are dancing like party animals. There is a DJ of the dance party named Boogie Boo, a brown Boo with an afro, sunglasses, and a gold tooth in this mouth.
"ARE YOU READY TO PARTY?!?!?!" screamed Boogie Boo.
"Whoa!! I guess that guy wasn't kidding!" But Pac scratched his head, "...Wait, what's the party's for?"

"Well now..." Applejack said in astonishment. "...Alright, may as well play along. Just stay casual, okay?"

"Cool! Then let's cut a rug!" Pinkie Pie blended in with the rest of the dance floor with upbeat steps and gyrations.
Dancing by Pinkie is...what looks like a flat-screen TV with spidery legs. She seems to be doing the...five-legged version of the moonwalk. "Killer party, am I right?" the TV asked Pinkie.
"Yeah, drop-dead exciting!" the pony replied. The two ended up giggling over their puns.
"Hold it - by casual, you mean I can let loose like I always do?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"Eh, it's your casual."
"Cool! Then let's cut a rug!" Pinkie Pie blended in with the rest of the dance floor with upbeat steps and gyrations.

And there are undead varieties such as pumpkin cookies, eyeballs with juicy fillings, gummy worms, living grubs, and brain popsicles. Pac-Man scarfs them up even if the undead variety tastes weird. "Mmmm! Delicious! This is what I call free food!"

The Ghost Gang arrive at the entrance of Boogie Boo's party. There is a bodyguard looking at the ghosts. "Got presents...?" He asked.
"Yeah, we got'em right here!" Blinky and the others show their things in front of the bodyguard.
"Is that good enough?" asked Pinky.
"Hmm..... Okay.. You're in." The bodyguard steps aside, "Tell King Boo to wish him a happy birthday."

Applejack joins Pac-Man at the snack bar, though she plays it cautious and just has a bunch of chocolate candies and pumpkin cookies.

"You know, a present. A gift. Something to appease him for his big day."
"Ah! Well..." While shuffling on her hind hooves, Pinkie digs through hammerspace and whips out what looks like a skull on a spine. Pinkie Pie does a (surprisingly good) ventriloquist act with the skull: "Just li'l ol' me~ Y'ain't never seen a skull puppet like me, missy!"
