Cheif Cargo Handler of The Dancer
He can be characterized as the solitary-type, preferring reading to most other activities in his personal time, but while working is always busy tending to any crew-members under his authority. Always known to keep calm and handle problems expediently, yet accordingly, and has always been able to earn the trust and respect of others he works with. His temper may flare at times when tried by those he considers to be either lazy or incompetent, and has been known to send several workers off-ship whenever the ship goes port-side. This temper becomes appallingly evident when drinking, and his mood may jump from jovial to brooding, caustic, and vicious in a very short period. This doesn't prevent him from having friends, but it has limited their number, the main one being Captain Harwood, whom he had served with on their first freighter.
Saftey equipment associated with physical hazards such as gloves, saftey-boots, prescribed safety classes, etc. etc.
Specialized equipment for the particular cargo. (This one being cattle-prods and the likes.)
Daeryk had grown up on the plant Osiris. He had always leaned towards being a more academic individual in his youth, and had received decent grades during his school years, but had never associated with too many children his own age. This solitary lifestyle had severely diminished his capabilities of understanding others at the time, and he began to associate with a "rougher" crowd than he was accustomed, and after so long began stirring up a lot of trouble of which he was unable to avoid the consequences much longer, and as such he had made the decision to leave planet-side on a small freighter to dock on one of the several stations orbiting the planet. It was there he had met Theodore Harwood, and had become relatively close companions. They soon parted, as Theodore was wont to travel and seek adventure, while Daeryk preferred the seemingly simple, quiet life on the freighter with which he had grown accustomed. He had kept in touch with the Captain over the years, however touch and go it might have been at times, and was just recently offered a contract to serve on the Dancer. Unfortunately for Daeryk, Theo had neglected to mention that cattle were the cargo, with which he in not too pleased currently.
