Adalya

Beep Beep Beep Beep. "Shut up" Adalya mumbled as she reached over to hit the off button on her alarm clock. She laid flat on her back looking up at where the ceiling would be, if she could see in her pitch black room. After a minute of laying there she slowly sat up in her bed, scratching the back of her head and looking around her room once she was fully sitting up. "What to wear?" She questioned herself. She swung her legs off her bed and then walked over to her closet. She dug around for awhile, until she found some clothes to wear today. She didn't feel like going o the bathroom to get ready to so she changed into her outfit and did her make up in her room. "7:20. Ok, I'll go to the bathroom really quick, and then off to breakfast." She told herself, grabbing her bag and books off her desk.

She walked into the bathroom and saw some of the other girls in there getting ready for the day. "Morning ladies" she said, going into one of the bathroom stalls. She did her business, washed her hands and then waved goodbye to the girls, heading downstairs to the cafeteria. She saw a couple of people had beat her there, but for the most part it was empty. She picked up a tray and then starred at the breakfast buffet. There was fruit, cereal, pancakes, french toast, toast, eggs, and various other things. Adalya sort of cringed looking at all of the food. She didn't know where to start, so she started with the fruit. She grabbed a small bowl of mixed fruits, then worked her way down the buffet line, picking up: strawberry yogurt, two granola bars, a small dish of eggs with some cheddar cheese on top, and ended by getting a cup of orange juice. She looked around the cafeteria for a place to sit, and found an open table. She sat down and began eating her food, slowly. "Hey Ada, can I sit here?" Came a chipper voice. She looked up to see Nina standing above her. She liked Nina, and she liked the fact that Nina doesn't talk much when she's eating. "Yeah, of course Nina." She said, and then watched Nina sit down across from her.

Nina

Nina rolled over to turn off the chirping of her alarm clock, sitting up in her bed after she did so. She looked around her room, with a tired look still on her face. She didn't want to get up, she wanted to go back to sleep, but she swung her legs off the side of her bed and got up anyways. She digged through her closest, trying to find something to wear. She knew she wanted to wear shorts because the weather report said that it would be about 85 degrees today. She didn't mind hot weather, matter of fact she loved it. She put on her outfit then grabbed her make up and jewelry and then headed to the bathroom. She liked the light in the bathroom better than the one in her room, so she mainly did her make up in the bathroom, unless she was feeling lazy and then she did it in her room. "Morning" she said to the couple of other girls there already, and got a couple of mornings back. She quietly did her make up and put on her jewelry, not saying much to anyone around her. Due to her still being tired she didn't talk very much. As she was putting in her earrings Adalya had come into the bathroom. "Morning ladies" she said. Nina turned her head slightly and replied "Morning Ada." Ada left as Nina was doing some of the final touches to look, and then left the bathroom to head back to her room. She put her make up away and then put her books into her bag, and then head down to the cafeteria.

Once there she grabbed a tray and put her breakfast on it. She didn't like big meals so she didn't put much on her tray. She grabbed a small bowl of fruit, a small bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, and a cup of apple juice. She looked around the room for a moment and then saw Ada sitting all alone. She walked over to the table, and before sitting down she asked "Hey Ada, can I sit here?" Ada looked up, smiled and said "Yeah, of course Nina." Nina sat down and they ate their breakfast quietly.

Jason Mathews

Laying on top of his bed Jason stared up at his ceiling, waiting for a signal to tell him what time it was. His room was completely dark and silent, like it was most of the time. Suddenly Daft Punk's "Robot Rock" started to play, breaking the silence. At that moment all the rooms black lit light's began to strobe to the tune of the song, making Jason's once dark room full of life, music, and color. Jason's room was a rave party waiting to happen, something he was most proud of. It had taken almost a year to fully complete his room, a feat which was unheard of inside of the Gold Canyon Rehab Center, the staff still did not know how he gained access to all of the equipment. He would never tell them how he does what he does and they won't ask because his rehabilitation has been going really well. Jason then got up from his bed and walked over to his closet wardrobe, which lit up with neon lights when he opened it. Dressing himself in a blacklight tie-dye shirt, black hoodie, white khakis, and black chuck taylors. He then walked over to a desk which had several helmets on top of it. Moving his blonde hair away from the front of his face Jason then placed one of the helmets over his head. Now dressed Jason walked towards the door, opening the door and exited from his room. Once he closed the door the music stopped playing and all of the lights in his room turned off. "Best way to start a day."

Once out of his room Jason's stomach began to growl, making Jason walk towards the cafeteria. While walking towards the cafeteria he came across two staff security members, both which were looking at Jason with confused faces. Jason didn't leave his room much in the past year, he didn't want to bother going out of his room until he had finished renovating it. He had kept up with all his school work and had kept his addictions in check so there was not much need for him to go far from his room. Today he had decided that he would go back to the classes and socialize with the other people in the rehab center. The security members didn't like Jason much since he made fools of them by being able to get anything he wanted from the outside, something which they hate about him. One of the security guards tried to say something to Jason, but he was currently playing music inside his helmet and was unable to hear what they were talking about. Jason was really good at reading lips though and what the security guard said seemed to make Jason laugh. Placing a photograph on the security guard's shirt Jason continued to walk towards the cafeteria. The security guard was now shocked and sweating a little, which made Jason smile, not that anyone could tell.

Now inside the cafeteria Jason grabbed a tray and put his breakfast on it. Since he was hungry he placed a lot of food on the tray. Once he had finished grabbing his food he walked over towards those who were already sitting in the cafeteria. Jason then moved the tinted visor on his helmet up enough so that he could eat his food, while still keeping his face unseen to those who looked at him. Moving his visor though made the music he was listening to able to be heard by everyone else there. Not really wishing to talk Jason just sat at the table, eating his breakfast.

Devlin Dante Marie

‘You don't feel the pain

Too much is not enough
Nobody said this stuff makes any sense
We're hooked again

Point of no return
See how the buildings burn
Light up the night
Such pretty sight’

The music rang through her dreams. She saw herself in third person, her motorcycle full speed and her mind gone. No helmet, no pads. Just her and her baby.

She could feel the vibrations, the purring from her only love in life. She saw herself smiling and laughing as she headed strait for a canyon. An impossible jump to make
..as a third person she thought for a moment about how stupid this was but she couldn’t help but want to cheer herself on. She saw herself speed up and suddenly she was herself. On the bike, 15 feet from the edge and gunning it.

‘Adrenaline keeps me in the game
Adrenaline you don't even feel the pain
Wilder than your wildest dreams
When you're going to extremes
It takes adrenaline
(You don't feel the pain)

Sail through an empty night
It's only you and I who understand
There is no plan

Get closer to the thrill
Only time will kill
What's in your eyes
Is so alive’

There was no turning back now, both tired where in the air. The dark night was enveloping her and she knew for a fact that she wasn’t going to make it. the ledge was too far and her momentum hadn’t been enough. She grinned and waited for fall but
.it seemed as if she was suspended in the cold air.

‘Adrenaline keeps me in the game
Adrenaline you don't even feel the pain
Wilder than your wildest dreams
When you're going to extremes
It takes adrenaline

Run through the speed of sound
Every thing slows you down
And all color that surrounds you
Are bleeding to the walls
All the things you really need
Just wait to find the speed
Then you will achieve
Escape velocity’

She almost wished she would just fall already. Suddenly she was on the other side, skidded to a halt, and staring at her self. She was waving at herself. Her dark hair whipping in the wind, Green eyes vibrant and proud. She finally made the jump. She had proven herself. Then abruptly she saw herself throw herself off the cliff. She ran over to the edge, a scream dying in her throat as she realized she couldn’t save herself. Pieces of her where dying.

‘Too much is not enough
Nobody gave it up
Im not the kind
To lay down and die

Adrenaline
keeps me in the game
Adrenaline
you don't even feel the pain
Wilder than your wildest dreams
When you're going to extremes
It takes adrenaline

Adrenaline
Screaming out your name
Adrenaline
you don't even feel the pain
Wilder than your wildest dreams
When you're going to extremes
It takes adrenaline’

She felt her heart stop and jumped awake, sweat pouring down her body as she realized what was going on. A dream
.only a dream.

“(Adrenaline)

You don't even feel the pain
You don't even feel the pain
I'm going to extremes
There is nothing in between
You don't even feel the pain—“

She sighed reached over and shut the music off.

“Well
time for
whatever” she said and went down the hall to shower. After her shower she dressed in simple black skinny jeans, a purple tank, and hot pink high tops. She left her strait black hair down and headed to the cafeteria. She got a cup of coffee and an orange and took a seat next to a boy she had seen around. She said nothing to him, her mind still on her dream.

#, as written by Luce
Guy Meyers

At exactly seven ten, an incomprehensible screaming sounded from the speakers mounted around the room of Guy Meyers. Guy woke slowly, rubbing his eyes and allowing the song to finish, it was “They Don’t Call it the South for Nothing” by Of Mica & Men, an old favorite...

It was a Saturday night months ago, and Guy was at a concert (as he was most Saturday nights at this point in his life). The headliner on this particular night was OM&M, and they had just call for a wall of death. The room split, two hundred on each side. Ready to charge. “ARE YOU READY FOR THIS MOTHER F*CKERS?! 10
.” His heart was racing. Everyone was shouting the countdown along with the band. “5...” He began to bounce along with the others around him. “3
” He threw his fist in the air in the air, pumping along with the countdown. “2
” And as the first notes of the song ripped out of the amps, the sides of the room ran at full speed to the center of the indoor skate park. Four hundred teenage boys slammed into each other like brick wall and they all began to beat the crap out of eachother.

Damn. Those were the days. When the song ended, Guy dragged himself out of bed and to the showers down the hall. He threw on jeans, a band tee (Dance Gavin Dance), and his black hoodie. He got to breakfast just barely on time, hair still wet. He grabbed a bowl of cereal and some black coffee, and sat down at an unoccupied table to eat. He really didn’t want to be there. Even a month into his rehabilitation, Guy hadn’t fully adjusted.

Jared Daniél Knowles

His room was silent and dark. His curtains covered his windows blocking all attempts of sunlight from entering into his room. Music played softly in the background, and a figure lay in a very comfortable bed. The room was decorated beyond belief, and the wall’s neon colors went perfectly well with the black dĂ©cor that littered the room. The figure rolled over in the bed, tossing the black comforter to the side as he reached for a small electronic device. He grasped a small remote in his hand and pressed the power button. Instantly the background music stopped. A male figure arose from the bed, and stretched, rubbing his eyes and taking in the view around him. He had been here for an entire year, working on two years, and he felt that his problem was being solved. He missed his dad, but he never let his emotions show regarding the issue.

Silently he made his way to his dresser and pulled out a pair of underwear. He grabbed a tank top, a pair of sweat pants, and a pair of socks. He pulled out his Nike shoes and grabbed the rest of his necessities. Heading towards the bathroom, Jared checked to make sure everything was in order in his room. His room was one of the most organized, dust free rooms in the entire rehab center. Aside from his cousin’s room which was extremely neat and organized, Jared’s room was about the same. After checking everything, he made his way to the boy’s bathroom and did what he had to do. The shower was exuberating and the steam just removed his aches and pains. Sure the sight of naked guys turned him on a bit, but the therapy he had been receiving was helping. His urges were still there, but he was able to control them, at least for a short amount of time. He left the bathroom with sex on his mind, and though he was sure he wouldn’t commit any sexual acts in the rehab center, he made sure that he cooled off before making his way to the cafeteria.

Once those things that were stimulated had calmed down, he put in his hoop earrings and made his way towards the cafĂ©. He grabbed a tray and stepped in front of his cousin Jeremiah who had made it there before him. Jeremiah rolled his eyes and smiled, letting his cousin cut in line while picking food that had little to no blemishes. Jared finished choosing his food and made his way to a table that one guy occupied. He decided not to speak to the guy, because he looked as if he was lost in thought and Jared didn’t want to disturb. He had seen this guy around, one of the officials had called him Guy, Guy Meyers Jared recalled..

“Jared, how are you managing?” Jeremiah asked after sitting down next to Jared.

"So far so good cuzzo,” Jared replied as he took a bite of food.

Jeremiah sighed and picked at his food. He normally didn’t eat things he himself didn’t prepare, but he knew Jared would probably curse him if he didn’t at least try the food. Jared looked up and around the cafĂ©, noticing a few of his “friends” if he could call them that.

Jeremiah ShĂĄvon Rowland

A nearly identical room, layout exactly the same as Jared’s, was silent. The only difference between the rooms was that Jeremiah’s room walls were silver, while Jared’s room walls were black with a splash of neon color here and there like a brick wall design. No music or alarm clock in sight as a figure moved around in a floating bed. There was absolutely nothing out of place, and no dust to be seen amongst the marble floors and various artifacts. Jeremiah rolled over at least three times before removing the comforter from his body. He was dressed as he always dressed before bed. Nothing on but a pair of pajama pants, not even a pair of underwear to be seen on his body. As he went about his daily routine of finding what he would wear, he looked at the clock on his wall and noticed that he was up early yet again. He picked up a pair of black skinny jeans, a button up pink plaid shirt, and a pair of knee high boots to wear. He grabbed his set of hoop earrings for the day and put them in.

“Wonder if Jared’s awake,” Jeremiah stated as he made his way towards the boy’s bathroom.

After he had finished what he had to do, he made his way back to his room and tossed his dirty clothes into a hamper that set neatly against his closet. He wrapped a metal bracelet around his right wrist and checked to make sure everything was in place. As he liked, his clothing was a little form fitting, but it showed the right parts of his body. He smiled and walked out of the room before making his way to the cafĂ©. Once there, he stood in line with his tray, though it wasn’t long before Jared appeared and jumped in front of him. Jeremiah laughed a little but made it through the line with enough to eat.

He and his cousin talked for a little before his eyes took in his surroundings. Yes, he had made a few friends since he had been at the rehab center. He had made great progress with his addiction and disorder. Only time would tell if the therapy had worked, but as far as he’d seen, it was helping a lot. His thoughts weren’t as clouded with perfection and sex as it was when he first arrived. He hadn’t had a violent outburst in over a year, and he hadn’t drunk any alcohol for three years.

“Hey man, what’s up?” Jeremiah asked Guy attempting to make conversation. “Haven’t I seen you around? You haven’t been here long have you?”

Jared looked up when he heard Jeremiah talking and wondered if he was actually trying to make conversation with a guy he really didn’t know, then again Jeremiah was a little bit more outspoken than Jared was.

Egan stood frozen in front of his bedroom door. It was time to go down to the cafeteria for breakfast according to his schedule but he couldn't move. His heart pounded in his chest, the room was so silent Egan could almost hear the loud drumming of his anxious heart. His stomach turned, growling with a furious hunger he had learned to ignore.
"Just go..." he whispered to himself and drew in a deep breath. After a few more minutes of debating with himself, he slowly opened the bedroom door and stepped out into the bright hallway. He spent the night learning the schedules, floor plans for the building and all the names of the staff members in between his obsessive work out routine. He turned left and went into the bathroom, his toothbrush and tooth paste clenched tightly in his fist. Trying not to look anyone, Egan stepped in front of the mirror, his eyes focused on the sink and started to brush his teeth. Slowly, he lifted his eyes and looked into the mirror. He hated mirrors, he avoided them all the time but for some reason, lately he couldn't stop staring. He froze as he saw his reflection gazing back at him, the skeleton that was supposed to be him. He stared into his green eyes that seemed so foreign, then at his cheeks that he was convinced looked like chipmunk cheeks, but in reality curved deep in the space between bones. He looked down at his outfit-his black tie hung perfectly around his neck and down the center of his white Gucci shirt, the black cardigan hung loosely over his thin body and his dress pants barely hung onto his hips with the belt. He ran his hand over his stomach, smoothing out a wrinkle and noticing in the mirror how far his hand pushed down his shirt to reach his stomach. He felt his ribs under his finger as he tried to rub away the wrinkle.
Lost in thought, Egan jumped as a urinal flushed and he watched a boy wash and leave. Unfreezing, his quickly finished brushing his teeth, rinsed and left. Walking down the hallway towards the cafeteria, Egan clenched his left hand and rubbed his fingers tightly against the palm. He could hear the people inside talking, the echo but most of all, his nose was assaulted by the scented wave of food.
"Walk..." he ordered himself when he realized he had stopped. The boy he had seen in the bathroom passed him and Egan clenched his jaw and forced himself to walk.
Staring at the empty tray he looked at the large cafeteria and the food. Slowly, his feet feeling as heavy as iron, he dragged himself through the line. When he saw the fruit, he took a fruit cup, carefully inspecting what kinds of fruit were in the bowl. He grinned when he saw the coffee and quickly rushed over, his hand stopping as he went to reach for the handle. Decaf. The doctors had ordered him to have decaf. The amount of caffeine he drank wasn't good for his heart and after this last "scare", he was banned from caffeine all together. Egan grumbled and grabbed the decaf pot and poured himself three cups of black coffee. His shoulders relaxed as he left the food area and headed towards the tables. He spotted an empty table and quickly ran over to it. He drank a cup of coffee slowly, watching the other students/addicts/other messed up teens and wondered why they were all here. Some, he took an accurate guess at but others he wasn't completely sure. He checked out the guys, looked around for clicks, and wondered who was popular, and who would be beating him up. He kept his back to the wall, watching everyone in the room anxiously and protectively. The only time his eyes moved away from the crowd was when he looked down at the fruit. He poured the pieces of fruit out onto a plate, picking through the high caloric ones and putting them into the bowl. He wouldn't eat those ones. On his plate remained 10 slices of fruit--3 slices of a strawberry, 5 blueberries, 1 slice of a banana, and 1 slice of cantaloupe. He picked up his knife and started cutting the pieces up, looking back up at the group around him. Once they were each cut into 4 pieces, he picked up his another coffee and sat back, drinking it just as slow as the other one and taking in the group. Egan, please, you're sick. You need to get better, please go to the center. At this rate you won't live to go to Oxford. Ava's voice echoed in his head and he stared down at the food. It had been two years since he had eaten breakfast. He wondered how this place would help him. For a minute, a flash of anger ran through him. He wasn't sick! He was fine! A part insisted inside his mind but rational took over as he stared down at his thighs, the pants hanging off of them like a drenched cat's fur. He was sick. He was very sick and Ava was right. He had to get better or he would slowly starve himself into oblivion.

Nina looked up only to almost choke on her drink. She had spotted Jason this morning, which never happened.

Out of shock, due to there being a coughing person in front of her, Adalya shot her head up. "Oh my goodness, Nina are you ok?!?"

Nina nodded, coughing some more, and pointed over in the direction of Jason.

Adalya, slowly turned her head to see what her friend had gotten all worked up about, and then her too, was shocked. "Oh shit." she whispered, loud enough for Nina to hear.

"I know right" Nina replied. It was about this time that Jared had walked into the cafeteria and taken a seat, with some new kid. "Jared. Psst. Jared. Come here." Nina called in a yelling-whisper voice. Jared was only a table away so she didn't mind speaking out like this.

Nina, Jared, and Adalya became close friends last year, and formed a small group, with a couple of other students. However, Nina like Jared, a lot. Her understood what she was going through and has really helped with her recovery. The only person who knows about Nina's crush is Adalya, because Nina doesn't show that she "likes" him.

Jared Knowles

Jared had nearly eaten all the food on his plate, and hadn’t thought about sex or alcohol at all while he ate. Truly he was making much progress at this center. A smile was plastered on his face, but as he looked down, he noticed that his tank top was rather revealing. It was a little bit transparent, but he didn’t care, so long as no one approached him with an offer he couldn’t refuse. Sighing, he looked at Jeremiah and wondered why he had taken the incentive to strike up a conversation with someone who probably didn’t want to converse with anyone today. At that moment, he heard someone whispering his name rather loudly. One could wonder if the person was whispering at all. Jared turned around in his seat and noticed Nina. She was a beautiful girl, but she had problems just like everyone else here. Still, he had become friends with her and hoped to try to help her with her problem so long as she helped him.

He lifted up one finger, which indicated that he’d be there in a minute. Standing to his feet with his tray in his hand, he moved over to her table and sat down beside her, but not before kissing her on the cheek and giving her a hug.

“What’s up Nina? How you doing Adalya?” Jared said as he started picking through the remaining food on his tray.

"Hey" they both said in unison. After a quick giggle, Nina hugs and kisses Jared's cheek back and then points over to Jason.

"Look who finally came out of his room." Nina whispered to him.

"Amazing right?" Adalya added in.

Devlin, after finishing her coffee, stood and stretched. She needed something other than coffee this morning. she needed her fix. She ran her fingers through her hair unsure how to get an adrenal rush in a place like this. Short of punching someone to get a fight, she had nothing.

She stood, not paying attention, and ran into someone, their food landing all over them. She looked up to find a pretty blond girl with big blue eyes that where filled with fury.

"Ah...oops" she said

"you...you...FREAK!" the girl screached.

"Hey, name calling isn't nice, i prefer to be called a conisuer of the unusual." Devlin said with a smile. The girl was getting on her nerves.

"im sure it will come right out." Devlin said.

"This is designer!" the girl screeched again.

"oh, you must be a shopoholic...i see...well, my bad, on the bright side it makes your outfit look better" Devlin said with a wicked grin. the girl blanched the took a handful of food from her shirt and fling it at Devlin. Devlin ducked just in time, did a back hand spring across the table and landed on the other side before turning to face he girl yet again.

"now now that wasn't very nice." she said and shook her head with another wicked grin.

Egan watched the others talking and then the fight that seemed to start out when the girl walked into the other girl. He drank his coffee slowly and managed to eat half of the fruit he had set before himself before getting up and dumping the tray in the garbage. He placed the empty tray and coffee cups on the cart full of other dirty trays and left the cafeteria. He still had some time before class and he needed to go for a run. Quickly, Egan walked back to his room, ignoring everyone else and focusing on how he'd get outside for his run. They had restricted his exercise and he knew he wouldn't be able to get outside, there was no way to slip past all the security, nurses, and other staff, not to mention the cameras. He pushed open his bedroom door and quickly threw off his clothes, grabbing his t-shirt and jogging pants he dressed quickly. He stood in the middle of his room, trying to figure out what to do. The anxiety building, the need to run was consuming him and making his heart race. He had to run. Egan started jogging in place but it wasn't enough. The only thing he could think of doing was running lines through the hallway but that would be difficult to hide and definitely make him noticeable. he didn't want people to make fun of him but the need was growing too much, becoming more and more overwhelming. Before Egan even realized it, he was opening his door and jogging down the hallway, weaving in and out of people. He ran to one end, tapped the base of the wall quietly and turned back around, keeping his head down so he wouldn't have to make eye contact with anyone.

Jared and Jeremiah

"Look who finally came out of his room." Nina whispered to him.

Jared looked up and noticed Jason eating his food just as everyone else was supposed to be doing.

"Amazing right?" Adalya added in.

Jared smirked and simply shook his head. He may have met Jason maybe once or twice since his arrival, and every encounter was always a good one. He really had nothing bad to say about Jason other than the helmet he wore should be removed. He honestly didn’t see why he wore the darn thing. He had saw Jason probably once in the entire time the guy had been at the rehab center without the helmet, and that was when he was taking a shower and Jared walked in and caught him off guard. Of course Jared didn’t say anything to him, merely waving and carrying on with his own business.

“Have any of you tried to get to know him? You may be surprised by what you find out,” Jared stated as he went back to picking at his food.

Jared felt that if they got to know Jason, they probably wouldn’t feel the way they did about him. He was odd, that much was true, but behind the helmet was probably a cool guy.

“YO JASON,” Jared yelled waving to signal Jason to come over, “COME HERE MAN!”

Jared smirked and winked at Nina.

Jeremiah sighed and turned to look at the two girls causing commotion in the cafeteria. Hadn’t they realized that this was not the place to be fighting. If anything, they’d have consequences to pay for even throwing a punch in this place. Still, most of the time the guards would let the fighters get their frustration out before intervening. Jeremiah was getting annoyed and really wasn’t in the mood for all the yelling and screaming. That’s when he heard Jared yell for Jason and he turned his head in the direction of Jared’s voice.

“Wow,” Jeremiah stated, “He’s on the prowl.”

Jeremiah laughed softly to himself and looked back at the two girls fighting. From what he knew, one of the girls was known as Devlin, and the other one he couldn’t quite remember. Standing to his feet, he walked over to the two and stepped in between them.

“Do you really think that’s wise? Fighting only leads to more trouble. Just go your separate ways and try to stay out of trouble. This place is a place of healing and rehabilitation, not backsliding and fighting.”

“Do you really think that’s wise? Fighting only leads to more trouble. Just go your separate ways and try to stay out of trouble. This place is a place of healing and rehabilitation, not backsliding and fighting.” a male by the name of Jeremiah said.

"Oh please. This little hussy spilled food all over me, she is NOT getting away with that" The blond said. Devlin smiled.

"I apologize, not for the food, but for the fact that you have no chance against me, and your getting your own hopes up. Ill leave you to get cleaned up doll. Thanks for butting in cutie" Devlin finished with a wink at Jeremiah, then turned to leave.

She didn't have time to waste on a bimbo like the angry blond whose name never came to her.

“Have any of you tried to get to know him? You may be surprised by what you find out,” Jared stated.

"He always blows us off." Nina said "Plus, you know how Ada feels about him" she whispered in his ear.

"Nina" Adalya stated loudly.

"What we both know" Nina said, shrugging her shoulders. It was true, Ada did had a bit of crush on Jason. She's only talked to him once and sort of feel in love with his nerdyness. It was a slight turn on for her.

“YO JASON,” Jared yelled waving to signal Jason to come over, “COME HERE MAN!”

"Um, well I'm going to grab my laptop, and head to class." Adalya said. "See you guys later." She said getting from the table, and rushing to dump her tray and head to her room, blushing as she did so.

"Aaawww, so cute." Nina giggled.

Egan continued to run for half an hour until finally someone had complained and he was instructed to stop. He'd get into trouble later for exercising but he didn't care. Exhausted, Egan returned to his room, pulling his shirt off as he entered just before shutting the door. Pulling his pants off, he collapsed onto his bed and stared up at the ceiling. His heart was racing, he could feel it echoing in his chest and the uneven rhythm it beat. Slowly, he pulled himself up and looked at his clock. Fifteen minutes before class.
"Shit!" He jumped up and quickly got dressed, dressing in what he had worn down to breakfast. He quickly checked to make sure he didn't smell and when he was sure he was good to go, he grabbed his books and headed out to his first period, Junior English.

Jeremiah

Jeremiah just simply looked at the two girls as they went their separate ways. One was angry the other nonchalant. He smirked as he shook his head and decided that it was time to get to his first class. Walking back to the table he had sat at, he picked up his tray and walked over to the trashcan where he dumped his trash and walked over to Jared. He whispered into Jared’s ear and waved at Nina. Walking towards the exit, he was approached by a friend of his. A girl named Samantha gave Jeremiah a hug and started conversing with him.

“How are you Jeremiah? I haven’t seen you since last week.”

“I’m good, can’t complain. What’s up?” Jeremiah replied.

“Oh nothing, just thought I’d let you know that the guy you have a crush on has been pushing himself really hard. Maybe you should talk to him or something. You’ve always been good at helping others with their issues, which has always made me wonder why you are here.”

Samantha smiled and placed a soft hand on Jeremiah’s shoulder. She mouthed the words “talk to him” and proceeded to exit the cafeteria. Jeremiah stood there shaking his head. Was it that obvious that he liked Egan Henderson? How did she know about his little boy crush? He sighed and made a mental note to visit Egan at some point to talk to him about any issues he may be having. After all, he has helped a ton of people at the rehab center. With a smile, he made his way towards his first class of the day, Chemistry II. He hated this particular class for reasons even he didn’t know. He currently had an A in the class, but he still despised it. Making his way back to his room, he grabbed his backpack and headed to Chemistry II.

Egan sat down in his desk and sighed, slightly out of breath and set his books down. He looked around the classroom before opening his binder and removing a small amount of lined paper. Then he pulled out a blue pen and rested it on top of the paper and opened his textbook to the subject they were on. It was all ritual for him as he dated and signed the note paper, placing the subject on the top line followed by the chapter and "in class notes". He hated this class. Junior English was almost insulting and extremely boring. All of the material they were reading he had read before he was 11 and had already published a paper on the main novel they were studying. He tried to pay attention and tried to be polite by taking notes but instead he found that he was distracted by thinking of ways to burn calories while he sat in class. But today, his thoughts were going to coke and the desire to get high and get lost in an essay. His leg bounced anxiously under his desk as he looked around, tapping his finger on his pencil and spotting Ada and Devlin. He had noticed them around and saw them at breakfast this morning but he didn't know the others although he was in Health class with one of the guys sitting with them in the caf. He had noticed how hot the dark haired guy was in his class but Egan was way too shy to ever approach him and he assumed that he was way out of his league. Quickly, he clicked his tongue, another nervous habit of his whenever he was thinking about something that he had now decided he absolutely had to stop thinking about; he stared out the window and started thinking about the book he was reading.

Indirah was by herself the whole time, hiding somewhere... she just wasn't sure where... exactly. She missed the time in the Cafeteria, and planned to miss the rest of the day; tired of all the noise and people. She just had no tolerance for ignorance and noise. Something she should probably work on... Indirah looked at the time on her Eiffel Tower Shaped charm necklace that had a little clock on it. She bit her lip and stood up knowing it was probably time to head on to her first class. She wished to be by herself, but what if someone caught her? It would be a drag to have to go through all that trouble just because she simply wanted to get away for a tiny moment.

Shaking her messy hair. She made a her way through the twists and turns of the place, it just made her dizzy and irritated. She licked her lips. Finally finding her way into her classroom, she instantly felt anxious. She had the burning desire to regurgitate... from only eating grapes for breakfast? Indirah made a face of disgust. God she felt so pathetic. She inhaled deeply then exhaled, trying to let go of all her temptations and urges.

( Sorry for late start . I've been kind of distracted by things . )
