Personality

Personality: Giacomo is known as one of the few that have more thoughts on his mind than his mouth can progress, because of this he also known as one of the quieter souls in Golden Leo. Most understand that that is because of his overloading thoughts, others keep it with a more mysterious reason, a popular reason is that Giacomo can read minds and send his thoughts so he doesn’t need to talk. However even though Giacomo is a bit on the quiet side, or more accuratly less one man crowd, he still is a friendly, compasionate and funloving man, as long as you give him the time to think a second or two before saying it out loud. Also unlike most of the scientific side he is quite a combat lover, if there is a fight going in the guild he’ll most likely try to get involved and try to get the biggest piece of the fight wilst he’s at it.

Magic: artillery magic, a heavy support magic style that even though the name may suggest otherwise also can be used for up close and personal combat. It is a form of fire, earth and explosive magic. The user shoots crystal shells with a size determined by the users skill and used magic power. the shells don’t have to be explosive, they can be loaded with all kind of charges or just be a cannonball. Large shells also need some time to be created, the larger the more time they need. Though it contains earth, fire and explosive magic Giacomo is unable to use it in any way other than his artillery spells.

Signature abilities:
-Blessing from the sky: Giacomo shoots a special shell that contains a healing charge, instead of hurting the reciever it will heal their wounds and replenish some magical power according to the size of the shell.( large shell much healing, small shell little healing)
-Heavens fall: Giacomo shoots one large shell straight up, the shell will keep going higher untill it reaches the top of the thermosphere and then will come down like a meteor, but unlike a conventional meteor it’ll grow from the friction heat. Filled with explosives it will explode on impact with anything solid.
-Airburst barrage: Giacomo shoots a barrage of small golfball sized shells towards his target that explode mid-air.

History

History: Giacomo was born into a quite normal family, no large fortune nor magical background, they were engineers building the machines and buildings all around us. Though not very famous around in Ebel they were known in their home town as the mages of construction for their ability to build a house in a mere week. Giacomo however wasn’t that much of an engineer, he was a mage and that wasn’t a secret around his hometown since he always was creating fireworks. At first it seemed that that was his entire ability, but as Giacomo grew the magic did so too. His parents had given him scientific education since they thought he wouldn’t be able to make a living with his magic, but one day they got the shock of their lives a giant explosion in the air. When they walked outside they knew this was Giacomo’s work, as they saw him create a large ball of crystals in his hands and shot it into the air. Astonished they changed the plan for Giacomo and brought him to Golden Leo for training. The grusome training he got there and the past education began to shape him into the man that he now is, but in the meantime the magic partialy covered him in crystals boosting his physique.

Fun facts: Giacomo’s monocular is a tool to see what normal artillery shouldn’t see, his enemies on long range. It also has been rumored that he uses it to spy on guild members.

Rp sample: Giacomo had placed ten target in the water, slowly they drifted apart. He turned around none of his targets was within sight anymore, like he planned. He placed his momocular over his eye and there the targets were clearly visable through his monocular. He straightened he left arm, angled it up and placed his right at the elbow for support. The first shot was in creation, crystals started to build up just above his fist. A mere moment later a fist sized shell shot from its position on its way to the first target, the shock had pushed Giacomo over the sand backwards. In the distance he sees the shell explode right on the target. In a similar fashion he goes over the other nine. When he turns around however to walk back to the guild he is in for a suprise, he had been pushed so far back that he stepped into water. “Maybe it hadn’t been such a good idea to do this at a landtongue.” He said to himself.
