Introduction
During one of the largest battles recorded in this era, where all the races fought in a open plain at the center of Grenda, the extremely high level's of Dark Chaos began to gather. Then, as a dreadful sight in front of them all, the energy took the form of a massive demon. Made from pure evil energy, it immediately began to destroy and kill everything it had in its sight. Realizing the danger that had been created, the strongest warriors of each race made the choice to put their differences aside, uniting to put a stop to the evil beast. It was only when they each used their combined strengths of their races did they manage to succeed in defeating it. But to their surprise, the demon would not be killed, for it was created and fueled by the very dark desires that make up their world. But as all hope was lost, the warriors did a last resort as they divided the beast. Being created from the Dark Chaos, they took that very energy and divided it into 6 different gems. These gems were then divided among the warriors from each race for safekeeping while one was placed in a newly built city where the races all shared as the land was slowly rebuilt.
Now, the land of Grenda has managed to found peace. Some races still hold a bit of grudge for one another, but with the example the 5 Slayers, as the warriors were called, they have managed to stand firm so what they fought for all those years ago wouldn’t be for naught. But events began to take place that would threaten to release the Dark Chaos Beast once again to Grenda.
It all began when two orphan friends decided to sneak into the deepest part of a temple in the Central City where one of the 6 gems of the Dark Beastwas kept. They had gone in for a little fun, but as one of them drew closer to the gem and grabbed it, the Dark Chaos that seeped from the gem suddenly corrupted him. The friend could only watch as he began laugh uncontrollably before turning to look at him with his eyes now blood red and beast like. It is unsure what happened after that, but the rest of the world did witness as the temple was suddenly destroyed from within as swarms of dark creatures filled the building. Soldiers managed to hold back the monsters as they sealed them from within. Inside the temple, only a small number of the people that were inside managed to be saved from the sudden swarming of demons. Among those, was a strange young man that was found having grey hair and red eyes?
Two years have now passed since that event as the young man that was found has been living a fairly decent life. But because of that event, many people believe he was behind since he wasn’t part of the temple and had those red eyes. Because of this, he is looked down on some people within the city. But as he went about to try and have a normal life, things began to go worse. Dark Chaos began to spread across the land of Grenda as people started to turn and blame the young man for this. Now, rejected and accused, he is forced to find out the truth behind the return of the Dark Chaos on his own. But the truth, might be a bit to much to bare. Since it ties with the lost of his friend back when the temple was swarmed.
Races
Humans - The most common race throughout Grenda. They have the typical appearance, but what they are capable of vary a bit. There are those that can use powers called “Magi”, and those that are born without it.
Beastlings – Second to the humans, these are the next most race around. Being an appearance to that of a human, while having special features that show their animal half as well. Being seen to have ears on their head, longer hair, a tail, and claws, they also have a bit of their animal traits as well. The females are known to resemble a bit of a feline, while males are mostly like that of a canine.
Elves – A pure magic race, they are easily noticeable with their long pointy ears and long hair. Sometimes a bit full of pride of their race, elves tend to stay with their kind.
Skyrans – A race that lives among the sky, they are easily noticeable by their large white feathered wings on their back. I kind of noble race, they only keep contact with the elves, believing that the elves are the only race that aren’t “so primitive”. Their home stands high in the sky, their city being built to hover as they live above the clouds to avoid unwanted guests.
Drakes – The rarest of all the races, but no doubt strongest. Drakes have similar appearance to that of the humans, except for a pair of wings on their backs and random reptile features varying among themselves through out the body. As a last resort, they are able to change into their full dragon form, but it strains their body a lot.
Half-Monster - This race is one that was belived to not even exist, having only stories about them in ancient books to go by. It is said that this race was able to understand the creatures that were changed by the Dark Chaos and even cure them. But so far, only one has been found to exist, being a young man that was part in an event at one of the temples.

Oblivian wrote:Don't think that's possible, bro. The Sky race are all about belivng their above other races. I doubt one of them would "lower themselves" to be with a Beastling.
it could happen, i mean in final fantasy An Ether and a Human fell in love...plus it would add more intrigue to the character i have in mind...
