In both human and animal form, Hyperion's hair is an inky, almost unnatural black. Almost seeming to be made of the shadows he controls, the color appears to suck in any light, leaving a color that is at once sleek and impossibly dark. His human form is tall, lean, and deceptively strong. His skin holds a slight tan that contrasts nicely with the vibrant green of his eyes. His eyes themselves hold a slightly slitted pupil; so slight that only one looking for an abnormality would see it, and yet large enough for the unwary to find his gaze unsettling. On the chance he smiles, one can see that his teeth are a bit sharper than normal. A long and slender tail, coupled with an extra set of ears, are some more obvious signs that he is more than he appears. As a panther he seems surprisingly normal if the fact he's considerably larger than a regular panther is discounted.
Powers: Hyperion's powers tend to range into the realm of raw energy and shadows. He can mold together the latent energy that permeates the air and earth, and often harnesses them for things that don't require secrecy, as he is liable to cause explosions. His shadows are far more subtle, wrapping around him when he needs to hide or create a disguise, and tripping up his opponents.
Personality: Upon first glance Hyperion seems aloof and apathetic. He's not the type to be overly sympathetic, and can be callous when it comes to others, but he isn't heartless. However, very few are permitted to see beneath his cold mask. He tends to be a bit of a loner, but if needed can work with others, provided he respects them. He holds himself to a strict moral code though, and if he says that he'll do something, he'll do it. He can often be bitingly sarcastic, and almost never backs down from a fight unless he has an ulterior motive. He takes an almost feral delight in fighting, and excells at making good use of his shadows to hide himself and terrify his opponent, providing a further source of amusement. He has a low tolerance for idiots, and makes use of his dry sense of humor to show it, often playing the devil's advocate to point out flaws in plans or ideas.
Fighting Style: Hyperion has created a fighting style that is almost solely his own; a mixture of several types of martial arts that he has melded into something that matches him. He tends to disdain guns or other modern weapons, preferring his bo staff.
