Abi Damano's Story

Abi smiled as Raos put out his arm for her. Now this is a strange feeling, it was like they were made for each other she thought, they just... clicked! She didnt even know why. "What do you have in mind?"
Her day was getting interesting she thought. Her phone buzzed, she pulled it out of her handbag, it was the guy from earlier, she sent the call to voice mail and placed it back into her bag. This better not become a problem she thought. They left the apartment, the door locked behind them and the got into the lift, Abi pressed ground and looked out the window as they 'fell' to the ground.
Her day was getting interesting she thought. Her phone buzzed, she pulled it out of her handbag, it was the guy from earlier, she sent the call to voice mail and placed it back into her bag. This better not become a problem she thought. They left the apartment, the door locked behind them and the got into the lift, Abi pressed ground and looked out the window as they 'fell' to the ground.
"Oh, dont worry, just someone. I cant be bothered to talk to them right now!" She didnt want to tell him that creepy criminal was trying to get hold of her. He would get bored eventually, find some other girl and fade away like the rest.
The car starting up was quite exciting to Abi, it reminded her of the car her and her father fixed up, that brilliant rumble. Hmm movie at the mall, she smiled, she couldnt remember the last time she had been to a cinema, it felt like forever. It is always dinner dates usually, nothing fun, just some guy stuffing his face at the other side of the table. Had she really lost her dignity that badly? Was Raos swooning her into better ways? She was enjoying his company, it was fresh.

"Ha! Wow well, this kind of stuff!" She smiled, "Um, well heavy kind of stuff." She tapped her foot to the beat, she had always admired metal and rock, though sometimes she liked to relax to calmer music, unplugged rock. "What about you" She looked over at Raos, he was looking dead ahead, a careful driver? Thats also something new to Abi.
Abi let him help her out of the car, is this all men do? "You needn't be so formal around me, im in jeans, im a normal girl now" She giggled a little and grabbed his arm "Though i still expect that" She felt safe, no matter how bad they were she always felt safe with a man. Abi's phone buzzed again, she set her phone to silent and just let it ring. She couldnt switch it off, maybe she wasnt dealing with someone who gave up easy. "Persistence 'ey" she smiled even though she was worried, what if he saw her and Raos out together? What would happen? Walking to the entrance of the Mall one of Abi's heals snapped and she started to fall.
Abi blushed when Raos caught her, his arms wrapped around her, she was safe. She took off her shoes and threw them into the nearest bin. "I dont want to be trouble" she could shop for hours, and had expensive taste. Looking down at her jeans she though about when she last wore them "Some trainers!" She smiled and Raos, it was a long time since she had worn anything but heels. It would probably feel strange wearing flat clumpy shoes. She pointed at a shop near by, she had never been in it but i had a lot of trainers in the window. They walked over, inside it smelt like leather, she spent a long time looking. Abi picked up some red converse and looked at Raos smiled and tilted her head "These?" She felt... young?
Abi took the shoes up to the counter and asked for them without the box or labels. She put them on, they arnt too bad she thought, She saw her phone flash in her handbag "Again?" She closed up her handbag and finished tying the laces on her new shoes. "So, a movie?" She linked her arm with his again. "I know we replaced each others dates... But why are you still doing this?" she was confused by his kindness, she was getting too close to him, too attached, this worried her, she would only get hurt again.
Abi looked at Raos (Ahem :P) "Action! thats for sure! Im hyped up!" they walked out of the shop. "Haha, your not such a smooth talker after all!" She winked at him "At least you kind when you are blunt" She giggled and squeezed his arm. Walking to the cinema they came to a corner. Around it walking right at the was the criminal from the restaurant "So this guy is why your ignoring me 'ey?" He had some of his gang behind him. Abi grabbed Raos tight "Leave us alone" she went to pull Raos in the other direction, "Dont run away! Let go outside and talk" He grabbed Abi's arm.
"Yeah right, what you gunna do?" three of his gang stepped forward "dont wanna have to make a scene, but if you aint comin outside we gunna 'av to!" The three of them went for Raos, the leader laughed and went to grab Abi "You will be coming with us girl." Abi stood back from Raos, she didnt want to get hurt, but this was all her fault. Now they would be after Raos as well as her.
Abi was shocked by what had happened, "No... he didnt..." She was terrified, she wasnt sure by who. Abi fell in to Raos' arms. "Thank you"
Abi pressed her head against Raos' chest, why this one too? Violence followed her, Raos was the same... She hadnt been protected with so much passion before, this gave her a fluttering feeling, but violence was still violence. She couldn't comprehend the feelings in her head. "i want to go home" she whispered, i dont want to be here. She didnt feel safe, she felt displaced and vulnerable. Raos' heart beat was soothing but still it didnt change her wishes. "Take me home... please" A good day destroyed. "Make sure they dont follow." They were good these criminals, they weren't petty thieves, they were the real deal, they must have known she was in the Mall some how? She looked up at Raos teary eyed.
The whole way back in the car Abi was thinking over and over. She couldnt work out what had happened, today was just too much. The car stopped outside her place, "I dont know..." She took out a note pad and wrote down her number. She got out of the car and walked towards the building, damn, what was she doing she thought.
Abi watched as she saw Raos' car pull away and drive down the street. "What the hell is wrong with me!" She opened her door then locked and chained it closed. "Damn it!" She was angry with herself, she threw her bag across the livingroom, it hit the large window and everything came flying out. Her phone landed face up, 26missed calls "What?" The phone lit up again, it was that creep. She picked up the phone "Im not in a mood to talk to you!" he shouted down the phone panicking "Damn girl! Get away from that guy, he is bad... hes evil, get away from him, i-i-im not trying it on, you dont need me babe, that guy he will KILL you!" "Shut it! Dont call me again!" She hung up and threw her phone back onto the floor. She caught herself in one of her many mirrors, she got teary and ran to her bedroom, jumped into bed and under her covers. Her phone lit up again and again on her living room floor, after about 20mins cars arrived outside her building.
"What am i angry about? What? Im angry because bed things follow me! I hate how things just cant go right. How i cant be normal... whos that?" The door buzzed, she got out from under her covers, it buzzed urgently, "who is it?". "Open up!" She didnt recognize the voice, the camera wasnt showing any feed, she could hear a few in the background. She walked to the window and looked out, three black cars were parked outside. Is it them?
