An apathetic mercernary who seeks to turn a handsome profit from Raygin's instability.
Most definitively recognized is Aulus's accent which goes unmatched to any denizen of Raygin. It retains a very sharp baritone coupled with frequent emphasis on consonants. His speech is fast and powerful, and complements his very imposing nature. He does not hide himself in these trying times, but rather exposes himself to the greatest extent in pursuit of the highest bidder. He is a man without morals and absolutely does not get attached to any one thing or person. It is this rare trait that makes him a prime candidate for tasks done within the shadows. Though he seems not to make many friends, he keeps an equally scarce enemy base as well. He realizes his position as a necessary evil and so has over the years accrued a network of connections that would allow him access to goods such as information, weapons and even slaves. He realizes the invariable danger of his tasks as well, and so has come to terms with his impending death, a mindset that makes him a very dangerous opponent indeed.
Though most of his upper chest is exposed, the fact goes relatively unknown due to a large black coat with fur lining covering up much of his frame. His entire stomach is protected by a large, flexible metal plate that reaches down across the waist and circles against the back. Black greaves and gauntlets protect both his arms and legs, and they are scaled so as to absorb the force of blunt weapons. He retains vision within only his right eye, his left hidden by a simple black eye patch. As for weapons he possesses only two. At his hip is a very foreign blade, slender from hilt down and curved so as to maximize cutting potential. The blade itself seems half the size of a normal longsword and is most prominently known for its auxiliary use. At his back is a very elaborate blade, a longsword for certain but with an ornate pommel with a hand guard and a blade that looks to be composed of a very white steel.
Aulus's history is shrouded in one of unknowing and that is understandable considering he has no significant ties to Raygin other than a pursuit of profit there. Up to that point he was a traveling mercenary, relatively successful. He gained reputable notoriety in lands astray from Raygin, but it was from credible source that lead him to this particular place for more lucrative avenues.
