☞History☜
Harvey Dent is a man who walks in the sun but is, at teh same time a man born in the shadow of the moon. During his childhood years, he was the son of a crooked cop named Harry Dent. The senior Dent frequently abused Harvey by using a coin to decide whether Harvey will go without a night of beating. Unbeknownst to Harvey at the time, the coin was double-headed, meaning that no matter which side it lands, it always results in his being beaten by his father. His father's status as a cop also prevented the proper authorities from stopping his child abuse. He eventually became an orphan after his parents were killed in a a apartment fire while Harvey was at school accident. The abuse from his father, as well as the police's failure to stop it, gave him a deep hatred of corrupt cops, which led to his pursuing the DA job when he was older.

Supporting himself through his school years his scholastic accolades granted him a full scholarship to the law school of his choosing. After finishing school and returning to New York Harvey got a job with the Internal Affairs Bureau but quickly found himself as their lead prosecutor. It was here that Harvey truly made a name for himself. He locked up countless corrupt police officers in his hunt to weed out corruption in the New York City Police Department. While this didn't make him many friends within the Department it did earn him two nicknames and the recognition of the public.

As election season rolled around and Harvey entered the race he went head to head with current District Attorney who was known to be in Anthony Castellano's pocket. Harvey's campaign was one of truth, justice and freedom from life of corruption. His campaign slogan I Believe In Harvey Dent is well remembered. Harvey won by a land slide and is now looked at as the first legitimate ray of hope this city has had in decades.
