a character in “Gundam: Infinity Generation”, originally authored by Damioa, as played by RolePlayGateway

Description

Shuya Toriyama
Image

Name:Shuya Toriyama
Role/rank:Gundam Pilot 1 for Revelation faction.
Image
Home world:(will add worlds in soon. Don't let this stop you from making your character.)
Background:(Are you a slave, Federation Freedom fighter, or Revelation. Or, maybe your just a random person who has to choose a side. Note that if you are a random person, you can still reserve a Gundam but will have to come across it later in the story. IT'll still be in the beginning so relax. lol)
Age:18
Height:5'10
Weight:143 lba
Hair color:Black with red streaks. Do to a birth defect common for Revelation civilians. Mostly because of Genetic enhancements to rebirth newtypes.
Eye color:Red. Du to the same Genetic engineering.
Image

Gundam Name:EX A Extreme Gundam (Variants included)
Original
Image
Weapons:Dual Pistols and lazer swords
Weapon Explanation:Pistols that fire out plazma bullets are good for one on one combat. Made for mutiple enemies. However in this for the Gundam is best suited for ground combat. The Laser Swords are great for Melee
Skills:(Flight, speed, Attack, Defense) Pick one.
Point alocation: Unless I tell you otherwise, you will start off with 1000, gaining 10 for each post.
Ex: Speed:250 Strenth:300Flight:50 Defense:200 Blast strength and defense:200
Variant 1: Leos
Image
Weapons: Gauntlets
The gauntles on Leos mode have heated air generators, hot enough to burn through gundamian armor. It is fast and packs a punch on impact. Meant for close range combat with multiple enemies.
Stats:Speed:300 Strength: 300 Defense:300 Flight:100
Varient 2 Phoenix: Image
Weapons: Dual Rifles, Probes that fire megaton lasers, Laser swords.
His dual rifles together can fire massive blasts that creates wholes in mass enemy forces. Carrying them in is hands, together with the probes from the detaching the wings on his back, they can pack quite a punch and fire from a 360 direction.
Stats: Strength:300 Ground speed 50 Defense 250 Flight:300 (This form was meant for fast arial domination
Variant 3:Carnage phase: Image
Weapons: Hypo Atom Cannons
Having these massive cannons, if it wasn't for the protective Nuclear shields on colonies, they could consider themselves destroyed. Instead of using this for combat reasons, it is a last resort in order to help clear a path for escape. Instead of Photon Beams, sometimes its just flash beams instead. Dangerous to the eyes causing long periods, but not permanent, of blindness, this thing packs more punch than anything made so far. However, its so slow that it'll take one hour to take 10 steps. Therefore, it is only recommended as a last resort. Furthermore, since EX A uses the same gundam system as Wing Zero for enhanced performance, This form takes a huge tole on the pilot.
Last Variant: EX A normal, Combat Ready: Image
Weapons: Same as normal mode. However, this mode has a rifle shield and is more rounded for any type of combat.
Stats:Speed:200 Strength:200Flight:100 Defense:200 Blast strength and defense:300

Personality of Pilot:Shuya is a normal kid. He's fun loving and slacks off in school. When he was drafted for being one of the first man made Newtypes of the Universal Era, he wasn't sure if piloting a gundam was really his forte. After clashing sword for a brief moment with Strike Freedom 2, he decided that he would stay enlisted and keep on pressing to his beliefs. Thing is, the more he's apart of the Revelation forces the more his eyes open up to the horrors of slavery for non-Revelations. He's in a constant battle with his beliefs fighting for the soul reason of not having the tides turn and revelations become the slaves.

Likes:Weapons. He's a weapon freak. When they tell him of a new Variant for his gundam, he totally freaks out.
Dislikes:Whoever that Strike Freedom 2 gunfdam pilot is.
Favorite whatever:His favorite thing has to be his books. He reads anything, even if he doesn't quite know what the main subject is.
What makes him different than other characters: He is the only Complete Newtype for this generation. Manmande because the old newtypes were wipped out.
Thoughts on each side:He feels sorry for the Feddy's but doesn't want his fellow Revelations to wind up as slaves.
Sexuality:Straight
Taken:by Oka Shishei
Ideal partner: He really isn't picky but he likes a woman that likes weapons, so I guess Oka is the woman for him.
Race: Revalation Genetic Baby
History: Being born from Genetics, Shuya doesn't have a father. His mother was the late, Ayaji Toriyama, was the pilot of EX gundam before it received its variants. Of course this was when the Federation rose back up to fight so her main job was catching space pirates. She died of cancer when he was 13 and since then he's lived with his girlfriend Oka and her grandfather. He was drafted when he 16 to start his training because he was a Newtype, 100% recreated. He never really wanted to fight but since Oka decided to follow him he figured it wouldn't be that bad. On his first battle he accidentally crossed swords with a mysterious Gundam and its variants and left shortly after to get back to his ship. When asked if he saw anyone he said he hadn't so that one day the two could fight again.
Strengths:Exceptional pilot skills, and good hand eye coordination as well as reflexes
Weaknesses:Questions his beliefs
The one thing you love most in the world:Oka and weapons. Or maybe its Weapons and Oka. Hmm.....*Thinking*
The one thing you wish was just gone from the world:The Gundams
I can't think of anything else, but if you can by all means, go more into detail.
Last thing. Make sure your gundam mechanics make sense. Weapons cannot pop out of thin air. You can have weapons in the hanger bay but can't access the bay mid fight unless its against an NPC.
Mandatory Battle theme:

So begins...

Space. Being as vast and black as it was the stars have always lit up the area. However, there was one place where the stars wouldn't reach. Tomier, the Revelation work port and home to many slaves with Federation background. This was a place of sorrow and fear. One person especially had lived 19 of his years in the sorrow of this place. The artificial dome cut all ties to space and only the red light placed at the top of the place shined down on its inhabitants. This place was ran by non other than 4th fleet Captain Glurdleworth, a man who took pride in causing the suffering of many. He was such a foul and disgusting man that not even the current Revelation leader would enjoy his company. He ravaged slave woman and tortured and executed the men who spoke words against him.

"Get over here you scrumptious wench." His snake like voice called to one of the women.
"Please. I don't want to." She said back.

Most of the workers had their backs turned and those who couldn't ignore the act that was taken place etched their eyes secretly over to the Captain. As the woman trembled in fear, it seemed her fate for the night was filled with the company of this snake of a man.

He curled his hair with his finger as he confidently looked at the woman. "Now now. You know what will happen if you disobey me. Come quietly with a nice smile and I might forgive you."

At his words and the sound of machines tinkering back in forth a single sound echoed throughout the warehouse. "Tch."

The Captains calm face exposed his true colors at the sound. "Who was that. Who sucks their teeth at me?"

Out from the workers, one man stepped back with his head down.
"I'm tired of it." He said quietly.

"What was that slave?" The Captains eyes twitched.
"I said. I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT!!!!" The boy yelled, glaring at the Captain with his red firey eyes.

"You might want to watch your tongue insect." The Captain said grinding his teeth.

"Shut up! I'm tired of you coming here everyday, making the lives of these people who work for you impossible. My own father.... he."

The Captain had enough. At that instant he pulled out his gun ready to fire. "I guess we have to make an example out of you." He hissed. "One less worker wouldn't be any load off of my..." BAM!!!

The thunderous sound wasn't the pull of the trigger but something even more grotesque. Everyone jumped in fear of it. The boy grabbed his chest, thinking he had been shot, but quickly sighed in relief to find he was okay.

"What the hell was that?" The Captain asked one of his guardsmen.
"We seem to have been infiltrated. I've never seen this type of enemy before, but there seems to be many of them. What are your orders sir?"

Glurdleworth bit his thumb.
Damn. Out of all the places for something like this to happen.
"Have all personnel on standby for defensive action. I want every suitor to get in their Mobile suits and ready them selves for combat."
"Sir." The man saluted and left on his way.
Looking back at the boy, the man put his gun back in its holster. "You're safe for now, but when this little disturbance is handled, I'll see to it myself that you are punished.

Charles Tenworth (Npc) formed the Federation rebel squadron only fifty some odd years ago. As he was now an old man he was too battered by his time in the front lines to pilot a mobile suit and lead his men in battle. However, he had full faith in Evangeline Yevel to lead his men to victory. Although their team was small. He knew they could handle the easy task of freeing the people of Tomeir. He and his fallen comrades had found the Gundams in the past and used them to make small differences in the Revelation slave areas. They succeeded every time, but he knew the day would come when the Revelation caught wind of their actions. When that happened, he only feared the war it would bring.

Shuya Toriyama, a new pilot to the Revelation forces had been placed in the fourth company, section 7, of the Revelation fleet along with his long term girlfriend Oka. The two of them sat with the rest of the fleet members in front of Captain Sonya Rodham Pavlovena, to get her brief on the tasks they were suppose to carry out and their responsiblities while apart of her ship.
Shuya stood firmly like a good soldier as Oka squirmed next to him. "Hey. Can you stop moving while we're in the Captains presence?" He whispered trying not to get noticed.
"I can't." Oka replied. "I came straight here after waking up. I don't know why we all have to be here. I gotta pee."
Shuya gave a rough sigh. "We have to give respect to her. We're new. We can't ruin first impressions." He stared at the woman who was to command them.

Man she looks scary. I hope she doesn't yell at us. Or worse.

(OOC: Revelation team can post but they must be present at the captains speech. As for the Federation Team, they are attacking Tomeir to free the slaves. Revelation team is currently on earth so they aren't part of the attack. As for the mercenary's, you few are free to post whatever you want. Have fun and welcome to the Gundam RP. Also, one last thing. Post should be no less than 500 words.)

OOC: Sorry for being so freaking late :P

Captain Sonya Rodham Pavlovena entered the assembly hall flanked on either side by a pair of her closest comrades. They walked in tight arrowhead formation, the lockstep clacks of their heels perfectly synchronized as they swaggered across the sterling metalwork hull of the Epimetheus—Section 7's flagship. The captain came to an abrupt stop several feet before a grouping of seated Revelation soldiers, her radiant silver and white greatcoat swishing about in stark contrast with the soft grey metals that lined most of the ship's interior. The men who had been flanking her followed suit, coming to an immediate halt at her side, maintaining formation. They then kicked their boots together before spacing their feet shoulder length apart, hands behind their backs. It was the pose and posture of a proper Section 7 soldier.

With one hand on her hip, the captain struck a pose of her own, defiant and commanding. Her presence, like a great skyscraper, seemed to dwarf that of those around her. The woman was undoubtedly the alpha here, and she knew it. Slowly, the captain scanned the crowd of faces before her, starting from the left. Some faces she recognized. Most she didn't. Her prosthetic right eye moved erratically in her head, making quick sweeps and jumping rapidly from face to face. Her other eye traveled across the sea of bodies at a much slower pace, making eye contact with each and every individual before her. The effect was eerie.

It was a minute before she spoke.

"Stand." She uttered the word lightly, almost under her breath, yet projected it with enough force so as to reach the ears of every person in the room. It was easy to differentiate the "new" soldiers in the crowd from the veterans. The vets simply stood, hands either at their sides or in front of their persons. The captain inclined her head ever so slightly in acknowledgement. Those that remained sitting just looked at each other, befuddled expressions dotting their faces. There were furious mutterings in the way of "what did she say?" and "did you hear that?". A few of the veteran soldiers shook their heads in contempt (or was it pity?), but, for the most part, they simply stared forward.

For her part, the captain pursed her lips, eyes narrowing. It was not an aesthetically pleasing facial expression.

"STAND!" she barked, eyes wide, voice booming. Those newbies in the front row immediate jumped to attention, some nearly falling over their own feet to do so. After a moment, everyone who had been sitting previously managed to get to their feet. The silence within the room was deafening, with most of the soldiers remaining rigid. Some of them were squirming. A travesty of discipline, no doubt.

Walking up to within inches of the front row, the captain began to pace up and down the entire length of stiff sweaty newbies. The veterans that'd felt like showing up to the orientation were smart enough to choose seats around the middle and back edge of the gathering, essentially remaining outside of their captain's immediate warpath. Smart.

After several passes, she finally spoke, temporarily pausing her slow walk.

"Good afternoon, Revelation soldiers," she said, holding her arms out to her sides. From anyone else, it might've been an inviting gesture. She turned her head left. "To those new soldiers fresh out of bootcamp," she began, slowly turning her head to her right, "and you free slaves who are not yet familiar with how the Revelation operates, I am your captain. Your Queen. And you will refer to me as such while in my presence." She resumed her pacing, hands behind her back, greatcoat billowing after her in a dramatic flair. "This is the Revelation military's fourth company, of which I command." She pivoted smartly, clicking her heels together, her greatcoat whipping the air with her every motion. She was once again fully facing the men and women before her. "Of the myriad companies that exist, we are... special." She peered over her shoulder at one of the mercenary-esque men who had earlier followed her into the room. "Aren't we, Vice Lieutenant?"

"Yes, Kapitan." He spoke with a low villainous baritone, accentuated by his deep German accent. He pronounced it ka-pee-tan. "We are indeed special." When the Vice Lieutenant responded, only his jaw moved. Without that, he might as well have been a statue of Medusa herself. His stare was frosty, his stance as sharp and professional as his uniform. His mere glance was enough to petrify.

"Huh. Why is that?" She asked the question in a tone that suggested she already knew the answer.
The man broke his stance then, walking down to stand beside his captain. He immediately joined in on the effort to stare down the front row. "Because we are one of the seven specialized companies, and these whelps are lucky to have made it in at all."

She turned her head back towards those soldiers in front of her, bellowing. "And what is our mission?!"

The Vice Lieutenant grinned. He was missing teeth. "We are the fourth company—Section 7 of the Revelation's seven specialized companies! We are the Anti-Range section, or ARS, Kapitan!"

The captain nodded, opening her mouth in preparation to speak again. However, she paused, closing it. With her normal eye staring forward, the captain's mechanical eye swiveled in total alien fashion, landing on a purple-eyed female soldier off towards the edge of the front row. The soldier was shuffling in place in an erratic distracting fashion. The captain's normal eye followed the path of her mechanical one, tilting her head at an angle, eyebrows raised.

The Vice Lieutenant and several of the other veterans visibly grimaced. The captain, on the other hand, smirked. It was downright creepy. With the Vice Lieutenant on her heels, she casually made her way over to stand before the soldier, staring down at her. For a few intense moments, she only glared at the girl, eyes fixed, like a lion keyed in to its prey. The tension in the room was so palpable that other non-veterans began to fidget place, though not so much as to be noticed.

Thanks to her cybernetic eye, she immediately knew everything about this person.

Her name was Oka Shishei. A gifted Revelation mechanic and failed trial subject of the Revelation's Newtype project. Requested to join Section 7 of her own volition. Most closely associated to Shuya Toriyama—

The captain's eye immediately honed in on the person standing beside Oka, her human eye catching up a second later. Shuya Toriyama. The Revelation's prized "complete Newtype".

Fascinating.

With a flick of her wrist and a flurry of her coat, the captain held out her left hand, palm up, to her Lieutenant. Immediately recognizing her intent, he unbuckled an object from his bandoleer, placing it in her outstretched hand. Without missing a beat, she swung the object laterally, bringing it to bear a mere centimeters from the face of Shuya Toriyama.

It was a gun.

Nobody moved.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the elite." She spoke to the room with all the fervor and authority of one declaring an imperial edict, though her eyes never left Shuya's face. "What you are joining here is more than a company. It is a brotherhood. A machine. A single cohesive well-oiled unit so efficient and effective at what we do that we might as well be unrivaled within the Revelation. There is a reason for that."

She narrowed her non-mechanical eye, her voice deepening, directing her next question at her target. "Can you feel my hostile intent, Shuya Toriyama?" The captain's wolfish smirk widened as she leaned in, her canines in full view. "Do you fear death, soldier?"

Before he could respond, she pulled the trigger.

The hammer struck the firing pin with an auricular click!, piercing the silence like a spear.

There was no accompanying boom. No report. No gunfire. Just a click.

"Newtypes. Coordinators. Innovators. Naturals... We've done battle against entire armies of them all." She leaned out, shouting her next words to the room at large. "And we're still here!"

The veterans in the room let out a curt yet triumphant cheer.

"Synergy is your new god, soldiers," she said, withdrawing the handgun and handing it back to her Lieutenant. "Pray to her." The man slid a magazine into the weapon and racked the slide before returning it to his bandolier. "Because in order for our section to function at prime efficiency," she continued, "you must realize: a bullet through the head kills a coordinator just as easily as anybody else." As she spoke, she met the eyes of various individuals. "You. Are. Not. Special. Human or coordinator, rich or poor, male or female, slave or free man, Federation or Revelation—none of that matters anymore. Join us and you're nothing more than a member of Section 7. To work within this team. To obey and be obeyed—without bias or fear. Understood?"

There were a few shouts of acknowledgement, mostly from the back of the room, but it wasn't enough to appease the captain.

"UNDERSTOOD?!" She roared, to which everyone acknowledged: "Yes, captain!"

"Good. You all have your room assignments. We'll be testing out the new tactics and formations you were just briefed on against a small detachment of Federation forces within the hour, so be ready. Those of you who are worthy of Section 7 will not perish against such a pathetic force. To the rest of you..." She turned on her heel and began walking back to the entrance, her cadre moving to follow. "... I guess we'll see you in hell."
