History
Colin doesn't really remember much from his childhood, and the things he does remember aren't good. His parents were both alcoholic and abusive, and they overreacted to the littlest things. He hates when people say "you're not going to die", because his father actually killed his mother by abusing her so roughly. His father is in jail. Colin thinks that nothing can be worse than his childhood; hence the reason he always looks on the brightside of things.
