Appearance:
Kenna is a bit of a wild child and her appearance reflects it. She has long fiery red hair that is always tangled. Kenna isn't currently on speaking terms with comb brushes. Kenna's skin is pretty pale and a crop of freckles are forever planted on her face. Kenna's eyes are a deep blueish green, the kind of color one normally see's when looking at deep ocean water. Kenna's knees are pretty much always grass stained and she's always having to wash dirt out from underneath her fingernails. She likes to wear very unique and artistic clothes. Kenna is constantly getting reprimanded for "improving" her robes. Kenna's cheeks are always flushed red from excitement and a broad grin is almost always found on her face. Chances are if you bump into Kenna she'll be out of breath from whatever adventure she's tangled up in.

Personality:
Kenna loves adventure. She isn't the sort of person who can sit still for too long without becoming bored out of her mind. Kenna is always inventing new challenges to occupy herself with. Be it climbing the castle wall or sneaking into the forbidden forest Kenna is always up for excitement. She prides herself on not chowing fear and will accept almost any dare. Kenna is extremely social, and has literally gone up to a person and asked them if they wanted to be her friend. Kenna looks at the world through rose tinted glass and (unless they're a teacher) it's very hard for her to see people as bad. To Kenna everyone is capable of goodness. She is loyal to the point where she sometimes has to stop and check herself to see if what her friend is asking her to do is right. She loves getting to know people and asking them hundreds of questions. However, when it comes to herself Kenna is very secretive. Although she doesn't mind it, she doesn't particularly like being in the spotlight. She prefers to talk about other people. She can't quite discern why she should listen to anyone and has absolutely zero fear of teachers. When it comes to authority Kenna doesn't really understand why she has to listen to anyone. All in all Kenna just wants to enjoy life to it's fullest.
Likes: Kenna adores adventure in all shapes and forms. In particular she enjoys exploring new places and performing dangerous feats. She also loves nature and music. But not slow and soft music. Kenna prefers loud and upbeat music that makes you want to dance. If you asked her what her favorite color is she would say the rainbow (except for white and black.) Kenna adores animals in all shapes and sizes, especially griffons. She loves learning about other people and making new friends. Besides that one might say she enjoys pissing off teachers, but that's just something she does, not something she specifically enjoys.
Dislikes: Kenna absolutely hates boredom. It drives her out of her mind. She also dislikes teachers and figures of authority. As was previously mentioned she dislikes slow music, the color white, and the color black. When asked why she doesn't like white or black Kenna simply responds, "Well, you see, white is way too white and black is far too black." Then she will continue what she was doing as if her response was perfectly reasonable.
Fears: Kenna is very afraid of rejection. She prides herself on being liked by her peers and can push herself to the point of tears when she thinks about how others might view her. She is also pretty claustrophobic.
Quirks: Kenna can't remain still for too long. If she does than she will become fidgety and rock back and forth. When she's starting to get freaked out because she's in a tight space Kenna will litterly close her eyes, cover her ears, and chant "la la la la."
Equipment
Wand: Made of sturdy cypress wood with a core of dragon heartstring and a length of 11 inches
Signature Spell: Avifors- makes things turn into birds, and Alohomora- opens locks
Pet: none
Broom: Kenna has a classic silver Arrow. It's not the fastest or most expensive broom by any stretch of the imagination. But, it has an old school appeal and isn't the kind of broom that breaks down.
Other: She has her normal black robes, several "improved" robes she's not aloud to wear, her clothes, school books, a key to her sisters apartment, and a locket containing a photo of her whole family, some galleons, and some muggle money.
History
Family:
Parents: Mr. and Mrs. fab Dôn, they are two muggle police officers
Siblings: She has an older (human) brother named James who is 17. She also has another (human) sister by the name of Mary who is 23 and a well known fashion photographer in the muggle world.
Gaurdians: Her only guardian is her older sister Mary.
History:
When Kenna was little she was a very estranged child. Her parents worried about her, after all, they loved their daughter very much and wanted her to be normal. At first they assumed it would just wear off, but it didn't. So her very loving parents got her a shrink. The shrink encouraged her to be herself and explore who she was. Of course this absolutely would not do so her parents fired that shrink and got her a new one more suited to her "problems." This shrink encouraged her to hide herself from the rest of the world, telling Kenna that she was a devil child and should be ashamed of who she was. Kenna became reclusive and scared of the outside world.
It was around this time that Kenna's older sister Mary moved out of the house. Mary and Kenna had always been close and Mary had Always tried as best as she could to protect Kenna from the rest of the family. But when Mary moved out there was nothing to stop Kenna's family. Her brother called her names and played horrible "pranks" on her. Finally Kenna's magic exploded and her brother was seriously injured. Kenna's parents were horrified and kicked her out to go live her sister.
At first it was hard for Mary, having to drop out of college to take care of her magically inclined little sister. But then her career as a fashion photographer took off and she was able to take good care of herself and Kenna. Mary encouraged Kenna to step outside of herself and eventually coaxed Kenna into becoming the fun loving person she is today. When Mary was approached by Hogwarts she was shocked to find that there were other people like Kenna. After much investigation into the schools legitimacy Mary readily agreed to send Kenna to Hogwarts. With some help from the teaching staff Mary converted a bunch of her muggle money to Galleons and got the required school supplies. Kenna hasn't talked to her parents since they kicked her out but she sent them a letter telling them how there were other people like her and how she was going to a school made for people with magic. They have yet to respond. All in all Kenna is pretty at peace with her past, though she still dislikes to talk about it.

Oh my god, there’s a shop for owls. Kenna gaped at the store who’s windows were packed with owls. The store was called “Eeylops Owl Emporium” and people were walking in and out of it as if it was perfectly normal for a store to sell only owls. Kenna had always felt like she was strange, but compared to her other wizards were absolutely bonkers. In her flip flops, jeans, and homemade tee Kenna stood out like a sore thumb against all the people walking around in robes. When she had entered Diagon alley to buy her school supplies Kenna had figured it would be somewhat like a mall. She couldn’t have been more wrong.
Please, please, please let owl be on my list. Kenna thought as she looked at the list of supplies she needed to buy. The school had sent her the list and Mary had circled what from the list Kenna needed to buy. As Mary couldn’t actually see or enter Diagon alley this was a solo shopping. Kenna browsed the list until her eyes found a small note at the bottom stating that students were allowed to bring pets. Kenna smiled until she saw her sister had scribbled a note next to this, “You come home with a pet and you will be in BIG trouble.” Kenna debated for a moment whether or not to obey her sister. Then, deciding she’d be having to many adventures at Hogwarts to have the time for a pet, Kenna decided against buying an owl.
Kenna smiled and continued walking around Diagon alley. So far she’d gotten her robes and a her wand. Kenna had gotten a cypress wand with a dragon heartstring core. The guy at the wand store had seemed pretty nice at first, but then as she was buying the wand he made some joke about people with cypress wands dying. It was at that moment that Kenna had decided it was time to leave.
Kenna looked up from her list and gasped at the shop that loomed in front of her. In the window varying brooms were displayed. Kenna couldn’t help but wonder if wizards actually used them for flying. Shoving her list of supplies into her back pocket Kenna pushed open the door of the shop and walked over to a case displaying a broomstick. The broomstick was beautifully made and had golden letters etched into it’s side proclaiming it to be a “nimbus 2002.”
Kenna gazed longingly at the broom and nearly jumped with surprise when a voice behind her said, “Pretty awesome broom, don’t you think?” Kenna turned to see a wizard boy about her age standing behind her.
Kenna nodded in response to his question, “Yeah, it’s really cool. Do people actually fly around on these things?”
The boy looked at her questioningly before a look of understanding reached his face, “Oh I get, you’re muggle-I mean human born. Yeah, people ride around on those things. But If I were you I wouldn’t get the nimbus, it’s pretty expensive.”
Kenna nodded, “Thanks for the tip. What one should I get?”
The boy bit paused to concentrate a second before responding, “Check out some of the brooms in the back. They’re old school, and a bit slower than the other brooms, but they’re sturdy and will hold up against most anything.”
Kenna nodded, “Thanks” and sauntered to the back of the store. Kenna smiled when she saw the brooms being displayed here. What they lacked in modern style they made up for with a sort of old school dignity and homely feel. Kenna’s eyes passed over several brooms until they fell on one in particular, “The Silver Arrow.” Kenna grinned, Mary had said she couldn’t have a pet, but she'd never mentioned a broom.
