Appearance: Brielle has never been called "beautiful" or "ugly" or anything extreme. If someone were to describe how she looked, most of the time, they would respond with "mousy" or "Brielle who?" She has a small, slender, 5' 1" frame, and if one were to see her in her muggle clothes, it would be more apparent that her joints had a knobby, awkward look. She has never really been self conscious because she has never had any reason to. Her face is small and heart shaped and is framed by neck-length, straight black hair. Her eyes are a pretty hazel color just like her mom and grandmother (both of them muggles).

Personality: Brielle has a light and airy attitude when approached by other people, although she seems aloof and generally avoids initiating contact with other people. She is often found lost in deep thought or in the depths of a good book. She gets along with mostly everybody, although they find her very easy to forget. She has always had the habit of fading into the background of people's memory, making her have very few good friends. She has gotten to know several of the paintings from the castle over the years and can get them to deliver messages for her when the need arises. It has saved her from more than a few lashings for being late because of how close her Potions and Divination classes were in her schedule last semester, and the fact that they were on opposite sides of the castle didn't help much either. Her up-bringing was far from perfect though. She lost her mom to cancer when she was ten, and, because of this, she has become acutely aware of other people's problems and has gained the ability to hide her own VERY well. She is clumsy and has trouble with speaking at times, but for those who are patient and caring enough to listen, she can be the greatest, most wise and loyal friend in the world.

History: Brielle is muggle born, and because of this, she has done everything a little differently ever since she was a small girl when compared to other's with magical talent. Her parents didnt know what quite to do with the child that caused chairs to levitate over a dinner argument. Her muggle schoolmates were afraid of her and her teachers called her "odd" when they were trying to be polite at parent teacher conferences. On top of her unnatural ability, she had a stutter. Her early childhood was fraught with her struggling to say full sentences through her difficulties. Nowadays, she has found that she can keep it in check unless she is feeling emotionally distressed. That is the only real "tell" that shows something is wrong. Other than that, an observer might think she was the happiest person on earth, even though she felt like dying inside.
The year that she turned ten, she found, was the best and worst year of her life. It was the year two things that will shape her for the rest of her life occured: Her mother died of sickness (cancer, although it was undiagnosed for the time period) and she received her letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After her mother's death, Brielle and her father were launched into a deep depression. Brielle was forced to buck up for her father's sake after he had taken up drinking heavily and, after months of begging, he was able to recover. The thing that brought him out of it in particular was one phrase that Brielle said to him, stuttering at her drunk dad as he lay half-conscious on their kitchen tiles: "M-m-mum w-w-w-w-wouldn't want this, Da. Sh-sh-sh-she would w-w-w-want you t-to live l-l-like she w-w-were still here."
He knew she was right. He cleaned up, got a job, and continues it so he can pay the dues for her to attend Hogwarts. He loves his little girl more than anything, because she's the only thing he has left.
Brielle worries about writes constantly to her father. Her Charms professor lets her use his owl when none of the school owls are delivering packages. So far, he is holding himself together, but without her there, he feels like a drink every now and again...

Strengths: She is the kind of person that can shrug off mean words like water off a duck's back, and when they do hit home, she can usually recover quickly. She also can remember facts and memorize spells as easily as she can draw breath. She has a great talent for Charms and a great interest in Divination and hopes to, maybe, open a shop in Diagon Alley someday, but for what, she doesn't know quite yet.

Weaknesses: She is extremely clumsy, and often runs into things. She has no filter, and often speaks her mind, muttering her train of though to herself at times. She is also not hurt by words, but if someone yells at her she will cry. She stutters when she gets nervous or angry, and cant stop unless calmed down immediately. She also has a great fear of abandonment, and hates the thought of someone leaving her life somewhere along the road, so instead she tries to remain unattached. Though she can memorize a spell, she often has trouble performing everything except charms. She can charm things better than anyone in a very long time.

Likes: Photography, Art, Books/reading, Charming object to make them better or more useful in some way.

Dislikes: Rudeness, arrogance, anything to do with fish, ruined photos, being interrupted, being yelled at, and being made fun of for her stuttering.
