Heehee, tricky thing about settings! For one, it's 2014! Ours will be on board the ship named Lucrezia, what with everyone having boarded about four days ago. Everyone would be on the ship for roughly about a few days; we can come up with something to help move things along. But the eventual destination is Cancun and the resorts.
{Plot}
When you hear the name "Catalano," you think of the chain of restaurants and hotel resorts that dominate the western coastline of these United States. The son of a former musician and photographer, Edward Catalano spent nearly three decades distinguishing his family name. You know it's Catalano when you see crimson red and a golden lion. His greatest pride and joy has been his latest installment - the infamous Lucrezia, for the namesake of Lucrezia Borgia and for the birth of his youngest child, who shares the same name.
And now, Lucrezia plans to set sail again; it's a fantastic little cruise line leaving from the port of Palm Beach, Florida and traveling on the vast, open waters towards Cancun. The ship will dock at Calica and a series of tax services will lead our summer travelers towards the infamous city where fun, adventure, drama, and maybe even a little romance will greet them. However, before they even get there, there's a giant ship with tons of activities, mini bars, parties, and a slew of guests who aren't so new to all that Lucrezia has to offer.
You see, mostly all the guests who have been on the ship know of the core six, two of which are actually Mr. Catalano's kids. You might have seen them around; one might have served you drinks or even been mixing a few tracks at the club. Always ready to bring the party, this crew is about to encounter some new folks on their ship. Will they be receptive or dismissing? And what about their own drama?

When your Dad opens up a cruise line and has his own line of hotels and resorts, you kinda don't have an excuse when it comes to summer plans. So, when he grew old enough and his older sister decided to settle down, he began to help out. Three years later, so did his younger sister and a few old friends. Though he is a bit of a control freak and cockier than his sister would like, he is genuinely the one you would go to in order to have situations resolved amongst the younger generation. He manages the teen and young adult club. He's going to be graduating college soon and is getting a little sick of his on-and-off again relationship with his current/not-so-current girlfriend. He loves her, yes, but isn't it time for them to get serious?

You've probably heard of her; her name's on either side of the ship. Blame her mom for being in love with history and her Dad for being stupidly in love. But more than likely, you've seen her around. She's the pretty chick with the long skirts or beaded hair ornaments manning the smoothie and drink shack by the pool or the feisty bartender at the young adult club when her brother is on duty. You might have seen her hit him a few times. Don't get it twisted; she loves her brother! She just wishes he and [Boy 2] would let her be. She has taken Krav Maga; she can take care of herself. She would like to be able to have a little fun this summer since college is around the corner. She and [Boy 3] dated, but did not last long. And she's not exactly sad about it since they were only meant to be friends. Maybe she'll meet someone new this summer...if her brother would back the fuck off.

He has been around the Catalano siblings the longest; he has pretty much known [Boy 1] since diapers. Growing up with a socialite mother would probably have you coming off to others as pretentious and as self-serving as he seems to. At the same time, he knows a thing about loyalty and he broke the ultimate "bro code" when he slept with [Boy 1]'s girlfriend. [Girl 3] is cute and all, but even he knows he has crossed a line and he is willing to keep it a secret if she is. Call it "saving his own ass" or what-have-you, but even he knows that his image has always been affected by this one friendship. And if it means keeping secrets, then so be it. He's been doing that his entire life. And [Boy 3]? Ha, he wishes that scrawny asshole would say a word to [Boy 1] or [Girl 1]. Their parents work together; he could get the guy's father fired before he can attempt to apologize!

Oh, that tiny girl sitting in the lifeguard's seat? No, seriously - she is the lifeguard. So what if she seems small? That small chick gave a man nearly three times her size mouth-to-mouth resuscitation last year and pretty much saved his life. So, best believe that small things truly do come in small packages. And yes, she is aware that the only reason she is here is because of hard work and recommendations. Unlike the others, she does not come from big money nor does anyone pay for her to be here. She works and when she isn't working, she's with her best friend. And if [Girl 3] tries anything again this year, she is not scared to put that rich bitch in her place.

When you find out that you really have feelings for your ex-girlfriend's best friend, it definitely does make things...awkward. Even more awkward is the transition process from friends-to-couple-to-not being a couple-to-friends again. It's weird and a very tentative friendship, especially now that he's very aware of [Girl 2]'s feelings for him. To make matters worse, he can't even be around her without making a fool out of himself. And that's saying something when he's pretty much one of the most coordinated people on the ship. A dancer at heart, he is typically the life of the party. He helps with hyping the crowds up for fun family activities or when getting people interested in the club. He likes when people have a good time, but he knows that [Boy 2] and [Girl 3] had too much of a good time. How can he look at [Boy 1] without wanting to tell the truth?

If you don't know who she is, you better learn real quick. Not showing her the proper respect will result in a horrible experience for you. You don't believe her? Here's the thing: her Dad is best friends with the Catalano siblings' Dad and so, yeah. These three have known each other a very long time. It doesn't mean they all get long all the time. She and [Girl 1] are civil and that's only the nice way of putting it. She never liked the blonde much to begin with. And [Boy 1]? Please understand; she cares about him a lot. But feelings arose for his best friend and well, how can you tell a girl who is used to getting what she wants that she can't have both? All she ever had to do was bat those pretty little eyes and give a sweet kiss and her boyfriend would give in almost immediately. But is she prepared for the man who is tired of being treated like a boy? And how does [Boy 2] really feel about her?

- This is my roleplay, so please show some respect. Don't make a character and then disappear. That's so uncool. And don't start drama. It's cool if you did within the story, but not in the OOC.
- I get it. Sometimes you don't like the face claims or you have a certain vision for a character's face. At the same time, I like these face claims. Some I might be more negotiable with, but we would really need to talk about changing the main six unless you found a more fitting one. Include that in your reservation. But also understand that I don't want super overused face claims. Some of you have been here longer than me; you know exactly what overused face claims look like.
- Reservations last 48 hrs. I have been pretty lax with this because I was newer and whatever else bullshit excuse I had, but no more. YOU HAVE 48 HOURS.. Unless you have contacted me via PM and we have discussed your plausible reasoning behind not having at least a WIP in, your reservation will be terminated and I will be opening the role up. No further explanation will be needed at that point.
- I'm not a fan of the whole reserving two girls thing, so here it is: you can reserve up to three characters. One male and one female or even two males. I will not accept you reserving two female characters unless there is a male sandwiched somewhere in there. Please don't make me make it a requirement to reserve males; I think we're beyond that stage.
- I AM WILLING TO ADD MORE CHARACTERS. I just need these characters to be taken FIRST.
- The password is your favorite ice cream. Also, when reserving, provide your character's dialogue color. Mine is #E8ADAA.
- Know the rules of the website. None of that meta-what-have-you and cyber bullying. I don't like that.
- No Mary or Gary Sues. Be original and creative. But more than that, make the character human. No character is inherently good nor evil. They have flaws and complexities.
- Be as creative as you want with the character sheets. I will provide one in the OOC, but all you need is the information provided. I would like to see creativity.
- This is a first come, first serve roleplay. But do not believe that I will not open your character if you cannot at least submit a WIP. All I'm asking for is communication. Some people need more time than others, I get that. But if you say nothing and there's nothing submitted, the role WILL be opened again.
- It may be labeled as adult, but there won't be any pornorgraphic content. There is cursing and sex, but the swearing shouldn't be excessive and the raunchy scenes need to fade to black and be taken to PM once we are down to underwear.
- And have fun! These kids are living out the summer you would want! Play that out! Make ideas!

In the Alakoma booth, marked by the tricolour flag of purpure, argent, and or, sit a few Capricorn (in human form, but still distinguishable by their ram-like horns), most prominent among them a young woman dressed in some of the finest textiles and jewellery among her people [[picture something along the lines of this mixed with this and this]]. She is accompanied by a few formally dressed Capricorn men [[along the lines of this with this hair]]. Upon being cued by the WuXing, the young woman beckons to one of the men, who bows to the young woman as he stands and approaches the front of the booth. “Honoured representatives of the nations of Aokoa. Waiahau Taniawata [[’praise the waters and the winds (for delivering you all here)’]]. Join me in congratulating and thanking the WuXing for hosting this fantastic event.” He speaks in slightly accented but somewhat fluent Ashi-Wu, the language of the WuXing hosts, towards whom he then claps. “I am Ka’awani Utara Tamawaie Aoramae Karekohu Mo’onuiona of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Affairs of Alakoma; I speak today with the grace of our Lady, on behalf of the Capricorn of Alakoma.” He bows to the room. “I would like to take a moment to speak of our capital’s Hononui Stock Exchange, which has been reopened in our new and admittedly ambitiously named World Trade Centre. We entreat you all to visit, in hopes of creating a grander market city than the world has yet seen. But to my point today, in an effort to grow the Hononui Stock Exchange and our World Trade Centre, we would like to create an international trade directory of nations such that traders might more easily get an overview of different nations’ stocks and economies, that may hopefully entice business opportunities between traders from nations with yet little to no mercantile relationship. Hey, beautiful people!!
Sorry that I disappeared for a few days. Like everyone else, I had finals even though I was technically online during that week. However, soon came packing and with that, the confusion of whether or not I was packing everything because I was still at school. My best friend graduated Cum Laude and a year early, so I requested to stay on campus longer so that I could attend her graduation. In order to do that, I needed to volunteer during Senior Week, Reunion, and try to get Commencement tickets for free. It ended up being a lot more work than I originally intended and every time I tried to post, I would either be too tired or honestly could not put in the time.
Plus, the place I'm staying at so that I can spend more time with said bestest friend in the whole wide world has a shaky or unstable Wi-Fi, which is why you'd see me jump sporadically from being online to offline on here. With all that being said, I am back and this is still going. I want to start it within the next week or so, just to give people the time to finish this since I did disappear. So, I'll be messaging everyone to see if you're still interested. If you're still here, you're awesome. If not, then at least let me know!!

It's so hard to find a good realistic story now a days. Mind if I put in a reservation? I work better when I don't have a pre-set description of a character, and I do push the envelope of what is already given.
