The Cornish lord looking to extend his power beyond his lands in the south-west
Sly, cunning and ruthless. Utterly unforgiving of those who fail him, which because of his high standards and expectations of his henchmen and cronies, is many people. He is unafraid to speak what he thinks which is usually bad for those under him and a threat for those on par with him, he believes that no man is born his equal and must prove themselves to him. When he walks it is with a swagger and cocky smile, when he sits if he does not care either where he is sat or who he is talking to it is with his legs over the arm of the chair. If by some chance the other person interests him he will sit up and listen until he becomes bored and goes back to his plans and ideas.
Clothing: A top hat, a black great coat, a black waist coat, usually a white over shirt with his family crest on the breast, a deep purple under shirt, smart pressed trousers, a pair of well polished black boots.
Effects: He always walks with a cane with a wolf head on the pommel, as a skilled fencer he has a sabre hidden inside the cane.
Weapons: As well as his sabre Harold carries with him a self loading prototype clockwork pistol he had made by a team of crack engineers, the pistol has a large amount of gunpowder and bullets so rarely needs to be reloaded. He has also taken a fancy for the darker arts in magic and as such has learned the skill of necromancy to the extent of surrounding his in a veil oh shadow if he need be and to raise the servants he wishes to recover, which are few. Due to the fact he is also a powerful lord he has brought with him a large number of hired henchmen to make anyone foolish enough to pick a fight with him a misery.
Born into a wealthy family having enjoyed being the rulers of most of county Cornwall since before 1066, Harold had always known power and money. Because of this he loved it every moment of it. Even though his family had a large trade empire before he was born he did not believe it was enough and so expanded through a mix of buyouts, bribes, expansion and assassination as well as a number of other crimes. Through a mere 5 years he did what took his family generations and had taken over all of Cornwalls industry thus making him the de facto ruler as well as holding large areas of Devon. But now his eyes have turned to the east and with the growing wealth in London he has set his pieces in play and extended his grip into the capital where he plans to make his mark, in money. Or in blood.
