Personality: Jezebel, more commonly known as Jez, is a girl with a quick wit and a tendency for sarcasm. Being a mind-reader, she's learned to care about people, and through her mental connection she feels empathy. Due to this, however, and having to hide it, Jez covers up any real feelings with boisterous laughter and a tough attitude. Like a modern-day pirate, she's got confidence enough for five people, and a trickster's air - however, it's never really put into good use. Jez has a quiet side, too, however - her real self, which hardly comes out to play anymore. When she was younger, she used to be a quiet, thoughtful, artistic girl - and then she changed. Or so everyone thinks. Really, though, her true self is hidden.

History: Jez was raised as a normal kid - sort of. She always had a fascination with the supernatural, and it's because of this when she started hearing voices in her head it didn't surprise her that much. They told her of the meltdown - and soon enough, she figured out it was her parents, her friends' voices. She kept it a secret. Even today, she's the only one who knows. But now that she's on the run, she just might start to trust - after all, they say the people you travel with become your family, right?
When her parents died, Jez had already sunk so deep into the illusion she just smiled sadly and shrugged, accepting condolences. Then the people came, people who were looking for her. She ran, knowing that they knew about her. She was afraid.
But she heard, from the thoughts of the person looking for her, that there were others. Her only hope is to find them, starting from her hometown of Duluth, Minnesota, and be amongst others who were different, like her.
