Age: 17
Appearance: Duncan is a middle-of-the-road 5'9" and probably slightly underweight due to a classically nurtient-devoid student diet. He's got wavy dark brown hair which he grows fairly long into an indie style 1970s "Shaggy" arrangement, green eyes and a pronounched chin. He's probably the most rugged dweeb you'll ever see.
Personality: Duncan owes his life outlook to his hippy parents. He's an easy-going, laid-back guy to whom arguments and conflict sound too much like hard work. He's fond of the concept of "free love" his parents told him so much about, and does what he can to keep that alive. His success in this regard is highly variable. He's got a pretty fertive mind to go with it though; he'd not a total stoner. He likes to draw and sketch, and would love to make a career as a cartoonist. He likes to read about current affairs and keeps his finger on the pulse as to what's going on in the world. But above all he loves to chill out with music and munchies and a few close buddies.
What you packed: Duncan managed to get a waterproof rucksack for his regular stuff (clothes, a book or two, iPod, etc), and as for the special requirements he's gone with the obvious choice of a pair of basic swimming goggles, a pair of DeWalt workman's gloves with rubber grips, and for clothing he's worn a pair of brown waders (effectively 3/4 length trousers) and a slim-fit long-sleeve t-shirt. Not exactly waterproof but it's stuff that'll dry quickly if it gets wet.
