Sky is incredibly shy and a bit of a selective mute until she gets to know/trust people. She is a very caring person and loves animals. She struggled to kill zombies at first but after they killed her sister it became much easier. She believes strongly in things like fate and that what goes around comes around.
She prefers to distance herself from people as she has really bad trust issues. The only person Sky has ever been close to is her sister who unfortunately died a few days ago.

History
Her mother died giving birth to her fifteen years ago and some members of her family never really forgave her. Her older sister, ten at the time looked after her as a young child as her brother, the older sisters twin, and their dad never cared for her after the mum died.
From a young age her brother would take his anger out on her, being influenced by his dad who did the same, especially when he was drunk. This was most of the time as he was an alcoholic.
When Sky was just a toddler she was made to sleep in the basement of their house and rarely allowed to come out during the day.
Things got a little better when Sky started school but she was scared into silence not telling anyone what was going on at home.
As the years went by she was allowed around the house more but chose to not to anyway, the house almost always being filled with strange men who were friends with her dad. One day when she was only 14 her father's friend won a bet with him and he sexually attacked her. Only her sister tried to stop it, her brother took no notice.
The dad was one of the first to become infected and at the time, the apocalypse was almost a god send to Sky as anything had to be better than what was going on before. She was wrong of-course, a dew days later her sister became infected after trying to save her. Her brother would have left her there and then if it wasn't for the fact that he had promised his sister on his life that he would protect her for her if anything happened.
