"I never sleep well anyways,"
Eleanor goes by Ella. She used to be shy but now her little voice is quick to jump into polite conversations. She has a quaint personality masked by a proud shell. On the outside she is fearless, witty, serious, selfless, knowledgeable, loveless and confident. However, once she let someone into her life they find her to be gentle, curious, and whimsical. Her major flaw is that she judges herself and others too harshly and that she is very flighty.
power: When locking eyes with someone, at once she sees how they will die.
From the small Community in Vermont, she was the Mayor's daughter. Brought up with a knowledge of ancient history she is an aspiring scholar. She lived in the Mayor's Palace- a crumbling but still beautiful stone building that was once an ancient library. Eleanor's only friend was the haughty Peter Barnet who's family was still the only political adversary to the Edwards family. Eleanor was not always a mutant, the accident happened when she was 14. Writing in her field journal, making a map of what lay beyond the Community Gates with Peter one day they stumbled upon the ruins of a small airport. Being athe curious girl she is, Ella left Peter outside and explored the ruins. They did not hear the distant siren sound as a radiation storm approached until it was too late... Knocked out from a falling wood beam, Ella awoke- newly pigmented eyes and went outside. There Peter was nowhere to be found. Asuming the worst, Ella returned to the Community where she discovered her reflection: violet eyes, darkened eyelids: the marks of radiation exposure. When later she and the rest of the Community discovered her grim ability, she was banished from the Community. Outcast, even by her father and blammed for the Barnet boy's death, Ella traveled the woods for a time until she met fellow mutants like herself. Often times the relationship was only for means of survival: short term agreements, etc. Until one day she met Celeste and Dean. The two were in such a poor state that eventually the relationship was friendship and not a short handed pity. She has been traveling with them for many years.
