Xel Stein's Story

Fire and destruction is the only thing Xel saw, hearing the bombs falling everywhere the once peaceful city was know in ruins Xel's eyes went dark as he passed out. Waking up to a few men in medical robes and such experimenting on him they didn't care if he was awake or not they continued the pain was unbearable for Xel but for some reason he couldn't pass out, he was bound where he laid so he couldn't move Xel was scared tears flowed from his eye's in bulks until he felt something beginning to dig deeper and deeper within his chest.

Letting out a scream Xel wakes up in a cold sweat looking at a room he had never seen before. Lifting himself up and sitting up on the bed Xel placed his hand on his face looking down at his feet, with a face that showed no emotion until he heard the intercom it was an announcement for these so called heroes, Xel knew he was on of them. Anger overtook Xel he punched the nearby wall seeing his knuckle bleed then heard some one knocking on the door "This is you assistant John," he said opening the door and coming in "I new you'd be sleeping, Do you need a shot?" he then added, Xel looked at him with anger Xel was beyond irritation he grabbed the man called john by his neck tie "Touch me and I'll kill you!" Xel said and let him go. "My aren't we mad, come with me." John said, Xel only followed behind him still pissed off.

There Xel had to change his cloths into white long sleeve shirt, black trousers and a white eye mask he did knowing something might happen to him if he didn't. He entered the conference room seeing others there in the same getup as him and what looked like to be the bosses sitting at the end 'So I'm not the only "Hero", this should be interesting.' Xel thought and leaned on the wall with his arms crossed, still irritated.

Xel slightly grunted and sat down not wanting to make a ruckus, he wanted to cool down he was to angry and irritated, 'Intelligence and Motor skill interference eh? So my ability's are quite even out, I wonder if they have something to counter measure our ability's...' Xel thought and shook his head.

He heard the Mans briefing, 'Hm a mission, Baxter, enhanced biological functions and elector-magnetic ability's, biological-functions?...' Xel thought then information on everything he had read, seen or heard about biological-functions flowed into his head; Xel grunted, Xel's head throbbed as he placed a hand over it 'I guess this is what he meant about intelligence... Zephir's Teleportation and Cryokinesis seems promising, and myself, on top of that we are being tracked with the microphone and earpiece.' Xel thought. Xel's new found knowledge was making his head pound, but he soon overcame it.

"So what are we expected to find in said places?" Xel said still having a bit of a migraine, but his irritation and anger where already going away.

Xel listened to the bosses reply, 'Info gathering seems simple enough, but I doubt it will go smoothly.I myself have full understanding of my ability's and my teammates ability's....' Xel thought but shrug of that train of thought, as one Zephir explained he doesn't have full control of one of his ability's. "This'll turn out interesting I guess." Xel said.

Xel then stood up going to the Technician he stood with a white vest with long sleeves and black pants that looked like jeans, "This is Snow White, it has been tested to resist high levels of impact and is made of anti head materials, with this you can take shot from a gun almost not feel a thing or be set on fire and not feel the heat." he said and gave it to Xel. Xel placed on Snow White and immediately took a liking to it. Then he search for this weapon of choice seeing nothing that peaked his interest so he was about to pick up a gun, but then he saw a small box, he approached it and looked inside of it seeing many brightly colored marbles, Xel picked one up noticing it was made of a type of rubber, "What is this?" Xel asked the Technician, "Oh that's a super ball with extreme power, it's ricochet is fast and dangerous. It can bounce off surfaces and is tough enough that it pierce through wood and metal, but sadly it could never be used as weapon given the fact that it goes at speeds faster than the sound and its ricochet is to unpredictable." the technician said.

Xel smiled and flicked the Super ball into a wall it immediately ricochet of every surfaces and could not be seen, then Xel moved his hand as if swapping a fly and grabbed the super ball "I like it." Xel said with a grin, then grabbed more of them hiding them withing his sleeves and other parts of his clothing.

Xel sat besides his teammates, "If we are this well armed then something's up, I don't think this so called mission might go as smooth, so be on guard, something just doesn't feel right." Xel said. 'Mayor's house... I wonder what might happen there? Lets see its the mayors house there might be a state of the art security system, and mostly likely armed guards... we have the advantage and element of surprise. This should be easy I guess if everything goes right that is.' Xel thought feeling his migraine creeping up again.

Xel was feeling bored and with his boredom came sleepiness, he was getting sleepy, Xel let out a yawn stretching out his arms, "Are we there yet?" he say's rubbing his face.

Xel watched as girls jump only mumbling "Good luck..." before they headed off, in about 20 minute we arrived and landed close by the mayors house, "The mayors, is 30 yards east of here be careful team." the technicians said. Xel quickly jumped off and began running to the mayors house, getting there in 6 minutes flat, he investigated there was nobody guarding the entrance "Seems to easy if you ask me." Xel say's then look's around memorizing the landscape, then he quietly moved to the entrance, it was a normal double door "Pretty easy." Xel whispered wit a grin, then with two powerful kicks he breaks the lock off and opens the door.

Xel smiles and carefully goes inside hoping that his team is following behind him .

If there was one thing to say of Xel, was that he had guts, he automatically ran to the mansion and opened the door without trying to be discreet. Nex hastened to follow him, which, thanks to his teleportation was quite easy, in a second he appeared next to Xel "You're supposed to be the smarter, the ideal would be if we have a plan in case something goes wrong," he said, the atmosphere was too quiet and he had chills.
He carefully observe the situation, "By the way, what we are supposed to do?" asked as he opened a door and checked a room that was completely empty.

( sorry for my inactivity I had to fix my computer it got fried -.- but I'm done know :D )

Xel looked as Zephir appeared besides him and opened the door and listened to his comments, "I have about 5 plans with 50 fail safes, and back up plans already thought up." Xel said and smiled, "And as for what where looking for its simple the presidential room, I know where it is since I memorized the map so follow me quietly and be cautious there might be taps set." Xel added. Xel then began walking carefully towards said room taking everything into consideration, he passed through the hallway, and into yet another hallway it seemed to never end until finding a room in the end of the hallway with the presidential symbol on it, "Where here." Xel said and tried opening the door and oddly enough it was open.

Xel opened the door not stepping inside, first he looked around for any sensors or trip wire but there was nothing, Xel then walked inside, First thing Xel did was obviously look at the presidents desk searching for any clues on the disappearances. Not finding anything he tried accessing the computer, a password was required Xel slightly frowned and began to type in random answers. After about 6 minutes Xel got it and was in the grid, 'I've never been good with computers but with my new ability this is to easy its as if I created this thing by just looking at it.' Xel thought. Then began searching for known cases of disappearances, classified information, and the sort, then uploaded it to headquarters all that took a good 10 minutes. Xels head already hurt but he shrugged it off, then he saw it a little timer on top of the door by the wall which said "00:02:16" Xel eyes widened 'Two minutes? For wha-' he thought as he recalled movies where he seen similar times and it usually meant a bomb, "Crap!!! This place is gonna blow in two Minutes!!!!! ZEPHIR!!!!!" Xel screamed getting up and running toward him.

Xel was pulling Zephir out towards the entrance until one of the girls appeared, "Damn it!" Xel said as she run off, then pulled Zephir out of the building throwing him out saying "Stay down! I'm heading back for that idiot girl, there's only about one minute left,I doubt she could deactivate it." Xel said running inside once again. Xel remembered where she headed off to and used his intuition to find her in which he did finding a door that had been shot open, "Girl we gotta get out know! Less than a minute left I doubt you can pull it off!!" Xel said and ran to her side. 'I might be able to survive the explosion because of Snow white but this girl couldn't, damn it I knew there was something wrong here! When I get my hands on this boss I going to kill him!!' Xel thought.

Taylor had failed he was about to pull her out when the other girl appeared and wrapped Tayler in her wings, "Damn it!" Xel said and without a second though he ran to both of them opening his jacket but was too late it had began... The barrage of explosions Xel ran through them to the girls, he could take the explosions but so many at a time could've killed him but he ignored the pain as he looked at Taylor and Karin it would be okay if he would die form them, he had gotten close enough to cover them of some explotions. After a few minutes after continuous explosions ended Xel pushed a part of wall off himself, Xel was bloodied, blood ran down his head and and body, and he could feel his consciousness slip away but shook his head "I feel like I might pass out anytime know...." Xel mumbles under his breath

Then he looked down at the two girl " Are you... Okay?" Xel said with a slight pant, then he noticed it a piece of pipe through his stomach, Xel eyes widened then coughed up a lot of blood on his hand and fell on his knees, Xel was already seeing blurry and was sweaty. As blackness overtook his vision Xel vision he couldn't help but to wonder had he saved the two girls? Had his team survived? But one things for sure he wasn't planing on dying there the girls also...

Karin pushed herself to her feet, tucking her tattered wings in, still unsure of how to will them away, and stumbled to Taylor, helping her support the boy. What was his name...his name...Xel. She had heard it somewhere, Xel. He had a pipe or something stuck through his middle, blood staining his clothes, and he was obviously hurting. She remembered feeling him behind her, he had tried to protect them as the explosions went off. He had been hurt trying to save them. It was her fault, she could just feel it. Tears pooled in her eyes, but she blinked them back, still supporting Xel.

(( We should contact the other two to see what do we do with their characters, since they haven posted in lot of time...))

Xel woke up to a very bright plain with red roses all around, "What...?" he said still drowsy, a woman in a green dress greeted Xel, "I remember know... I was here... before the...bombing run..." Xel mumbled, then the image of a plain melted to the ruins of he city, screams, pain, blood and flames haunted his sight as people died right before his eye's; Xel closed his eyes screaming "NOOOO!!!" as he placed his hand over his head in fear, then when he opened his eyes he found himself in the lab being experimented, when they turned him into a so called "hero" Xel was too scared to talk as the scalpel began to get closed and closer to his eye, when it dug in he awoke from his nightmare.

Slowly opening his emotionless eye's he found himself to being carried by the other girls, he could see the pipe stuck to his stomach and taste the blood in his mouth it was horrible. He tried to talk but he could not form any words except for a cough with blood. But Xel was happy he was glad he could at least save them, hat brought slight smile to his face, "Than...k...you...." Xel said.

Xel was taken by the med team was treated fast they gave him a shot, stitched up his wound and bandaged him up after giving him a few medicines for pain, and blood loss. He was kept in the bed, for a 30 minutes, then Xel stood he still felt like shit but he didn't feel like he was going to pass out, "What, the hell did you guys give me...?" Xel said, one of the medics looked at Xel telling him "It's a serum that duplicates your body's healing process, its still unstable but it looks like its working." hen went back to do his things. Xel gave a grunt and walked out of the room not wanting o be with them he might snap again, he grabbed the place where he got stabbed with a pipe still feeling as if the wound was still open, "Hurts... alot." he mumbled, and sat on one of the nearby seat seeing the other two girls just a few row in front of where he sat, he had to properly thank them if it wasn't for them Xel would have died back there...

Karin was biting a towel, trying not to scream as the idiot technicians poked, pulled and twisted her mangled wings, hemming and hawwing with interest. They pulled feathers out, one by painful one, ignoring the blood seeping onto the floor from the huge gashes. Karin, however, could not ignore them. She inhaled sharply, then tried her best to pull the wings back into her body, sweat pouring down her face as she did so. They disappeared into her back eventually, leaving her shaking and crying as the disappointed techs began to clean and heal her gashed and bloody back. She turned her head and saw Xel. Annoyed and hurt as he looked, he was alive, and she sent him a strained smile, whimpering as they shoved a large needle into her flesh and pumped some strange chemical into her bloodstream.

"Hey," she called, trying to seem strong, "it's your turn to drag my body around next time, aye?"

Xel looked over to the pale blond colored girl, 'Miss Fairson.' Xel thought and listened to her then smiled, "Yes...I'm sorry for the trouble." Xel said; then heard the commotion the Tech where restraining Taylor, Xel was about to step in but the sharp pain of his wound stopped him from moving. Xel slightly grunted 'Wait till i get to the base I have a few things to say to this so called boss.' Xel thought then looked out of the window seeing the destruction outside why and who did this all happen, those questions ran through Xel's head.

The technicians had left into the other room, Xel then decided to go to Taylor and sat besides her since she seemed in better condition than Karin. "Lowe, how did things go in the security center? Did something happen or did it went smoothly?" Xel asked, considering he had mildly survived an explosion makes him think if the others operation went good or bad; if their operation went smoothly as planed then maybe it was coincidence about the bomb in the presidents house, but if it didn't it means either two thing luck hates us, or the higher ups know something.

(( So Flag left eh? then what about Fencer?))

Xel nodded, "I see, then more the reason for me to kick his face in one day too." Xel said, 'So it was the boss he staged this, Man what an ass and I thought it couldn't get worse, if this is his idea of a joke I'm not laughing just wait till I give him a piece of my highly advanced mind!' Xel thought. Then saw her glaring at someone he looked at where she was glaring, it was the technicians, "I can see you don't like the technicians too." Xel said with a small sigh. Oddly enough Xel couldn't feel his wound the pain killers where finally working, Xel then stretch out his arms, 'This feels better than a few minutes ago.' he thought, "I wonder if my other teammates made it out alive..." Xel said with slight frown, Baxter and Zephir, they might have been caught in the explosion though maybe their still alive, Xel couldnt help but to wonder.

(*meep* o.o , I see well that's that then ^.^ Btw I might add a character to liven thing up a bit. ))

"Heh, she's headstrong at least." Xel mumbled with small smile on his face, 'Well considering whats happen they'll take responsibility I mean we maybe lost two "heroes" in the explosion.' Xel thought. Xel sighed "Well I cant let her have all the fun." Xel said and stood up, he had to see what the boss was going to say, and he had a few thing to say to him too, Xel then walked and entered the room to talk with the hateful boss.

Karin stumbled after the other two, feeling better, but still hurting...a lot. She bit the inside of her cheek to keep from whimpering aloud, and followed after Xel and Taylor. The others...where were the others? Were they...had they died? The thought made her hurt more, and she sighed and slumped against the wall, slipping into the room. She had her own questions for this 'boss', a few cross words, definitely.

Xel saw them take away Taylor after knocking her out via needle, that ticked him off, "I hope you know what your getting yourself into. Because you two people died and one is heavily injured, this sick joke has gone long enough." Xel said walking to closer to the him, "Though Lowe beat me to giving you a punch, Ill just say this you do anything to hurt me or the girls I'll personally make your life a living hell." Xel said as the other some big looking guys where about to restrain needle in hand but Xel was already pissed off. Xel looked at them with a small smile "Shut down." he said as the men fell to the floor unconscious Xel used his weighted words to cut off all electrical impulses to the brain off them causing them to lose consciousness. "Boss man remember what I said and remember it well, you gave intelligence and combined with this power I can kill you by just saying one word." Xel said and laughed, walked back and leaning on the wall not wanting to leave Karin alone she was already weak and hurt from the explosion. Xel was still angry he crossed his arms and looked downwards waiting for Fairson to say or do something.....

"X-X-Xel...?" Karin stammered, looking between him and the boss with tears springing into her eyes, "he...he just...," she began to tremble, her fearful shaking quickly changing into quivers of anger.

"YOU!" she shouted, pointing at the bleeding man, "What did you do to her? Where did you take her?! That wasn't your right! We could've been killed! No matter what you say, what you do, you need us! You need us, and our powers, especially now that the others are...," she swallowed dryly, shook her head, and continued, "You can't treat us like caged animals any more. You've seen what Xel can do, you know what Taylor can do. They're far more powerful than anyone you can throw at them!"

Xel smirked the girl had guts she seemed very timid and frail but she isn't afraid to speak her mind at the least, 'Very well spoke Fairson.' Xel thought. "So boss man where is Lowe?" Xel said, he only grunted before a Technician spoke, "She's back at the base. Know you are all dismissed." Xel lifted an eyebrow 'At the base? They are keeping secrets this is bad.' Xel thought and stood up straight and waited for Karin, before feeling the plane start to descend "We will be reaching the base in a few minutes." the pilot said on the speaker.
