History
At a young age, Crane was bullied for his frail appearance and bookish nature. He became fixated on fear and revenge. He eventually went into Psychology, studying phobia's at Arkham Asylem. He developed his fear gas and turned to crime as the Scarecrow. He has been attempting to drive Batman insane with his toxin ever since.
