Dr. Henry Jekyll

Today has been an incredibly long day. But, I have found a small triumph. Lady Carmichael, my dearest friend, has offered up her service as a volunteer. I administered the first dose of the drug today at 9:00am. She gave me the names of two people who may or may not be interested in being part of my experiment; Mary Annette Blythe and Gregory Foster. I hope all goes well in contacting them. Perhaps I can make it so evil is eliminated in all of us. I hope for the best. Now, I must be off in trying to locate them and to check up on Lady Carmichael.
Dr. Henry Jekyll

Jekyll signed his name at the bottom of his journal before he hid it away in drawer of his bureau. Emma, his wife, came into the room.
"Henry, darling, will you be joining my father and me for dinner tonight?" she asked before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Emma, my love, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it. I have some research I need to catch up on," he said, kissing her tenderly. Emma sighed and left the room without another word.

I'm not quite sure what the effects of Henry's injection are quite yet, but I'm sure I'll find out shortly...

Lady Carmichael fell to the floor. Writhing on the ground, everything began to change. Her breathing increased and she could feel every heartbeat surge that terrible drug through her brain. It ended... She stood up and examined herself in the mirror.
"Why am I wearing this high society bullshit?" She asked herself as she began ripping the pins out of her hair. Her hair fell messily down her back. She ripped the dress off examined the black underthings she was wearing. She examined herself again and a smile came across her face. She left the house quickly and quietly. She slipped like a shadow through the streets, until she came to the Red Rat. She entered the presences and was promptly greeted by the notorious Simon Spyder.
"Well, Hello, there. How can I interest you, pet?" he asked as he examined her.
"I'm looking for a job," she said, sitting down on one of the bar tables.
"and what's your name pet?"
"Lucy James."

Marie walked softly through the door of the office. "Thank you, sir." She kept her eyes on the ground as she walked. "Umm, if you don't mind my asking but, what kind of subject are we perhaps, helping with?" She walked around the room, keeping her hands in front of her. She decided to stand next to the young man, Mr. Gregory Foster she presumed, and await a reply from the doctor. "I'm still terribly sorry for bumping into you earlier, umm, Mr. Foster."

Marie looked at the doctor with some shock, and sat down on a chair close by. "I'm quite interested in this experiment." She thought deeply about this, considering the fact that everyone certainly did have some evil inside of them. 'Well, I would like to change the part of me that isn't good.' she thought to herself. She set her shawl neatly in the crook of her arm and smoothed down her dress "So Dr. Please do tell us about this particular experiment. I'd like to very well know the process that is supposed to rid us of the evil inside."

Gregory looked down and smiled softly at Ms. Blythe. But, before he could answer, Dr. Jekyll opened the door and said their names. As they were walking hearing Ms. Blythe's apologetic sentence,"It's fine, it's fine Ms. Blythe. You had no intentions in hurting me, it's okay." He smiled down at her and looked back up at Dr. Jekyll. "What is this, to rid us of this evil?" He said to no one in particular, then looked, his face full of questioning. He sat down and tried to get comfortable. "So, you haven't tested this yet, is that right doctor?"

Marie looked around somewhat confident in her surroundings. She put back a random strand of pink hair that had fallen in front of her eyes. She smiled nervously at Gregory, glad that he wasn't hurt or offended. She looked down shyly and smoothed down her dress again. "So Mr. Crown. How is it that you came to know Dr. Jekyll? Colleague, maybe?" May had drunken quite a lot of juice that morning and her stomach started to feel funny. "Oh, Dr. Jekyll. Where is the bathroom here?"
