Name: Claire Eveleth Kineas
Age: 17
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, though she's extremely averse and cynical towards relationships
Physical Appearence: Claire stands at an average 5'5", with long brown hair and a lithe, thin build. She has a few scattering of pale, small scars up and down her arm, but they've faded, as if made a long time ago. She is very careful when walking, and if she's not she develops over time a limp.
Personality: Claire is quiet and closed off, very careful in everything she does and says. However, she has an explosive, lashing temper that can be set off by the smallest of things. She firmly believes in keeping vows, and has carefully hardened her heart to take everything with a grain of salt. She has trust issues, and shies away from things that are really loud, people included. Inside her is a carefully-controlled leader with charisma - but that's everything her life has told her is bad to be, so she hides away as a mask.
Severe Life Difficulty: Abuse and abandonment.
History:
Claire led a normal life until she was about ten - when everything changed. Her parents died in a car accident, leaving her with temporary amnesia and a selective mute. Unable to find anything out about her, she was sent to the foster system, where a happy couple soon snatched her up for adoption. It wasn't as it seemed. That was her first taste of abuse from people she had begun to trust. It was not even two full years with them when they, too, died in a vehicular accident. She was sent back to the system, not adopted again but shuttled around from place to place. She had begun to think she could get used to the constant tearing of new bonds when she got her first boyfriend. Claire trusted him too easily, won over with charming smiles and honest-seeming intentions. He took advantage of her, convincing her that his occasional strikes were accidents, or her fault, or something else. She thought she wouldn't be glad when her home of a few months could no longer have her, but she found herself relieved - and in the arms of the next family, and the source of her limp. The father had a tempter to match hers - at this time, she had begun to shut herself away again, but he brought it out of her with fluctuating attitude, and one day threw a glass to the ground in a fit of rage. Her foot just so happened to be in the way. Taken to the hospital, a car accident brought her salvation once more.. and she began to doubt, and question why. A few years have passed since then, Claire stuck in families that just didn't know what to do with her and so left her alone. The pressure and expectations have worn on her, and the feeling in the back of her head that another car crash will happen just won't go away.
