Reason For Running Away-
Why the hell not? Jack's parents had him young, just before both of their carrers really took off. They didn't have need of a son. When he was younger, they would just plop him in front of the television rather than play with him or give him attention and the older he got, the less they cared about what he was doing or where he was going. On his eighteenth birthday, he just decided to leave.

Personality-
Jack is smooth as silk. He has a knack for wit and charm and very few people seem able to resist him. He doesn't get angry or sad or annoyed very easily, or at least, people don't see him acting this way often. Instead, he let's things slide off with a joke or a sarcastic comment. He's always been popular with the fairer sex and has a reputation for being not quite faithful. Somehow, that hasn't come back to bite him... yet. On those few occaisions that do make him angry, however, he has a silent, fuming anger that makes him more likely to whisper than to yell. When he really does get angry he's more likely to just leave and calm down than to confront the person there. He's a bit afraid of his temper.

History-
Jack was born only about a year after his parents were married, just as things were beginning to really get serious in their careers. Of course, they would never even think about giving up the baby. They had always wanted a family... of course, once he was actually there, it was a bit different than they thought it would be. They were never in any way abusive to Jack. Just ambilivant. Jack always was given the impression that they just didn't care one way or another if he was there or not. Eventually, he learned that anything he wanted down he would need to do himself. He was successful in school and spent a lot of his nights sleeping over at friends' houses. He was very successful in school, but when the time came to apply to colleges, his parents broke it to him that they refused to pay for his education. They claimed that they didn't have the extra money, but the real reason was that they weren't willing to spend it. So, on his eighteenth birthday, he left. He took to living out of his car and working different odd jobs. He knows that if he lives alone for about a year and saves up enough money, he can get into a college all by himself, just like everything else in his life.

Other-
He has a fairly good job working as a runner for a law firm. He keeps in shape having to bike back and forth across the city all day.
