Destiny Islands

"They can't have gone too far," Hoshi said as he took off across the beach yelling the names of the two kids.

"Give me a second." Zach said and started to scale a large tree till he was at the very top. He looked down and saw two children running about 30 yards away from the beach.

Echo looked up at him "Do you see them , please see them." She stood there shivering.

"Yeah I see them!" Zach yelled and slid down the tree. "Hey guys no running away like that." He said and pulled the two kids back.

Victor stepped out a pitch black portal, he let the sand touch his boots and than he lightly pressed his cane like staff into the sand. He let down the hood of his black robe, showing his dark blue eyes and brown hair. He felt the wind blow against his face and he said “ugh, this place is horrid.” Victor looked back at the portal and watched as Roland stepped out.

Roland yawned and than stretched, his long hair blew with the wind and he said sarcastically “ I don’t know this place seems kind of comfortable, maybe after we finish the plan we can turn this place into a vacation spot.”

Victor stared daggers at Roland and than said “Let’s save the jokes for after we have what we came here for.” Roland nodded and than Victor started to walk down the beach. Victor approached Zach and the two kids. He looked down at Zach, Victor’s eyes showed no emotion. Victor’s expression was cold and evil, he than motioned to Roland. Roland approached the two kids, without saying a word Roland picked up the two kids. He than showed the kids to Victor and Victor said “We only need one, but I’m not sure which one we will need so I think taking both will benefit us.” Roland nodded and than the two walked back toward the portal as if they hadn’t just abducted two kids.

"Hey!" Zach screamed and grabbed the guy's arm and was pulled into the portal. "What the hell?" He muttered as he passed threw it with the two men.

Echo came around the corner to see the man "Hey let go of those 2 right now" She ran up to him.

Victor and Roland both turned around before they entered the portal. Roland looked at Victor and than Victor nodded. Roland handed Victor the two kids and than Roland disappeared, he than appeared behind Zach and whispered to him “are you afraid of the dark?’ Roland than chuckled and yelled “ well if you aren’t I’m going to show you why you should be!” Roland disappeared and than appeared a few feet in front of Zach. Roland pointed toward Zach and Zach’s shadow started to move and take shape. It than turned into a dark version of Zach and Roland laughed and said “ I just love doing this.” Zach’s newly formed shadow than ran toward him and began to attack.

Victor looked at Roland and said “ don’t take to long, we don’t want to spend more time here than we have to.” Victor than watched as Echo ran toward him and Roland. He let go of the kids and they started to float in the air. Victor than said to Roland “ I’ll take care of this one, I haven’t had a real work out lately.” Roland than said to Victor “ I could just manipulate her shadow so we can escape.” Victor chuckled and responded “and where would that be fun for me?” Roland shrugged and than Victor stood his ground facing toward Echo.

Gabriel heard yelling, he ran quickly to check things out as he got close he saw the kids floating in the air and Zach facing a dark version of himself. The scene looked like some kind of magic act gone wrong. Gabriel tried to understand the situation but things were just to crazy for him to focus on one thing.

"Really?" He asked and grabbed the shadow by the neck and twisted it so it snapped. "I am not afraid of shadows." He said and let the dead body fall to the ground and watched it turn back to his normal shadow. "Is that all you got? Are you just going to keep sending shadows after me?" Zach said and summoned his keyblade.

Hoshi saw what was happening to the younger teens on the island and was shocked and outraged. As he ran he reached down and picked up Kora's wooden keyblade and charged at Zach's shadow hoping to help him. "What the hell is going on?" he yelled to himself as he swung his impromptu weapon at the shadow and it passed right through it.

Echo could see how much bigger Victor "I'm not scared of you now give me back Yumi and Kora or else you'll regret it you got that punk."

Roland laughed and said “you should really learn to fear what you can’t understand kid.” after Roland said that Zach’s shadow reappeared this time with a keyblade. It attacked and pushed Zach back. Zach’s shadow than splint into two and than those two split creating four. When Roland saw Hoshi approach, he created a dark version of him as well. Roland than did the same with Hoshi’s shadow as he did with Zach’s The four Zach’s and four Hoshi’s surrounded the two.

Victor looked at Echo and said “are your little words supposed to scare me?” Victor than pounded his staff into the sand, vines began to grow from the ground. They than went off toward Echo. Victor had a smile on his face as the vines went toward Echo. It was as if he was planning something.

Gabriel saw the vines and than he ran to Echo, he stood next to her and said “ it looks like you might need a hand.” Gabriel smiled at Echo and than prepared to dodge the vines.

"Hey get back here!" Zach screamed as he saw that it was eight versus one. "This is not good!" He said and slashed threw one but was sideswiped by another and kicked in the face by one. "Ow." Zach muttered and stabbed it in the leg and ripped off his leg. One of the shadows lashed his blade into Zach's back and caused his shoulder to pop out of its socket.

Echo didn't know what came over her she felt her arm go up and stop the vines with a invisible sheild she heard sounds coming from it. "I'm not afraid of you now give them back."

"Echo." Zach said weakly and collapsed on the ground and popped his shoulder back in. "Echo." He muttered and blacked out.

(Dream)

Zach fell into a deep sleep and dreamed that he was sitting on a beach next to Echo. "What the? Why are you in one of my dreams?" He asked and she turned her head. "Fine you don't want to have a happy dream, well then you will have a scary nightmare!" She said and turned into a freaky looking Banshee. "Oh gross have you not looked in a mirror lately?" He asked and pulled out a mirror. "Your dreams are so weird dude." The banshee said and turned into a gray humanoid blob. "Why can't you pick a form!?" He yelled at the blob and threw the mirror at it which passed right through his head.

Echo looked over "Zach" She had no choice but to let the bad guys win that time she had to help Zach "Zach, please wake up, Zach you can't leave me please, I care about you Zach please."

"Zach, please wake up, Zach you can't leave me please, I care about you Zach please." Zach heard from his dream and looked at the blob. "Dude time to wake up." It said and poked Zach on the forehead. Zach suddenly woke up and turned over. "What happened?" He asked.

Echo was crying "Zach oh thank god your still alive." She gave him a hug squashing him very tight "I..I'm so sorry they got away with Yumi and Kora i'm so sorry. I just could let you get hurt i don't know what i'd do without you."

"Hey, hey we will get the back don't worry." Zach said and felt her squash him. "You don't know what you would do without me? I am going to be fine you don't have to worry about that." He said with a small but weak chuckle.

Echo knew she had to think of a way off the island but yet she couldn't stop crying from being so relived about Zach "I..I'm so...sorry...I should..ha...have pr...prot...protected the..them be..better." She was baling her eyes out.

"Hey don't cry you know how that makes me feel." Zach said weakly and wiped the tear from her face. "I am ok, but my shoulder has been popped out of its socket so just let me do.... This...." He said and snapped his shoulder back in with a terrible cracking sound. "Ow." He muttered and smiled.

Hoshi found himself facing four copies of himself, each one holding a keyblade that looked more powerful than his wooden replica. "God damn it, why won't you die?!" He yelled as he continued to slash through them with no effect. "I have to protect everyone!" He yelled as he charged at one of the four replica's. Suddenly the world turned black and Hoshi was falling.

-----DIVE TO THE HEART (the world where you decide dream stuff if you didn't know)--------

Hoshi landed on a small round column with a design of Sora on it. To gain power you must sacrifice something? and suddenly 3 pedestals popped oout of the ground each with a different weapon on them. "Well I will take the sword, and give up the staff." Hoshi says making his choices and suddenly he is falling onto what appears to be the island. Standing in a circle around where he fell are Tidus, Selphie, and Wakka.
He walks up to Selphie and she asks him "What's most important to you?"
"Friendship of course," Hoshi answers and Selphie disappeared.
"What do you want outta life?" Wakka says as Hoshi walks up to him.
"To see rare sights," Hoshi responds. And again the person fades away.
Finally he walks up to Tidus and Tidus asks, "What are you afraid of?"
"Being indecisive," Hoshi responds and Tidus also fades away.
Friendship is most important to you. What you want out of life is to see rare sights. What you fear is being indecisive. Your journey begins in the morning.

--------Destiny Islands-------------

Hoshi was once again charging at the shadows of himself but as he looked at the weapons leading the way they were not wooden keyblades, they were the real deal. The one is his left hand was gold, black, and white. It had white angel wings and black demonic wings and when Hoshi looked at it he knew its name, Confliction.
In his right hand was an entirely different keyblade. This one was white and gold, it also had an angel wing at the end forming the "teeth" of the key. He also knew this ones name instantly, Redemption.
Charging into the four copies of himself he swung his left keyblade at one and it disappeared and at the same time stabbed his right hand one in front of him causing the other to disappear also. "Two left," Hoshi said gritting his teeth. He charged at them and at the last moment stuck both keyblades out running in between the two slicing both in half and causing them to also disappear. Looking down he dismissed his new found keyblades with awe.
"Hey are you guys alright?" He asked as he ran up to Zach and Echo.

Echo chuckled at his shoulder popping in, she rubbed her eyes dry "Yeah thanks,You guys are right I need to focus we have to find a way off the island if we don't the kids might get hurt but one question remains how do we get of the island".

"I know a guy that is giving away a starship, I could cash in a few favors." He said and looked over to the middle of the island.

Echo sat there for a moment "Ugh i've got a major headache". She saw herself the day that she came to the island the was a purpleish pink portal like the one the bad guys came in and all of a sudden she was there and fell onto the beach. "Zach, do you remember the day that I arrived on the island."
