Bluestone

Sai had just made it home from a late night visiting Kage,Alex didn't know as usual,She felt her way around to her bed. "Hopefully Alex doesn't come in here and wake me up.." she said to herself while closing her eyes, refusing to believe it was morning. Many thoughts were racing through her mind she squeezed her eyes tight as if just that would clear her mind. Sai sighed "I'm awake" she said getting up, then seconds later tripping over something on the floor,landing with a loud thud.

Alex couldn't get any sleep that night. He knew something was wrong when the clock stuck 12, he forced himself from bed--he was somewhere between sleep and consciousness-- and dragged himself to his little sister room. Rage flowed through his every body seeing the bed empty. He tried to calm himself from making a huge fit out of it. Instead he went out into the cold air and sat at the fron door. His intentions were waiting for the female to come back and greet her with a good lecture, but unfortunately sleep got the better of him. His eye widened hearing the door shut, he followed the sound as quietly as possible. He hated how her sister is able to slip out of his grasp; her being visually disabled didn't help at all, it added insult to injury. Usually he'd scram at her but he he decided to humor her for a while. When she watched her fall to the ground he couldn't help but sigh. He grabbed her arm harshly and tugged her to her feet. "Where the **** have you been?!" He cussed angrily at his younger sister.

"Man, there's just nothing to do around here."

A young man--or so he appeared--stood amongst a thicket of trees; beside him was another man. He was juggling a cell phone and his wallet around each other effortlessly--but then, that was to be expected of a vampire, and certainly of an older vampire such as Kage Bloodsong. At length he ceased his games and returned the cell phone and wallet to the pockets of his jacket, shaking his head and looking over to his brother Jayden.

"None of the girls are available either, they're all off busy with something," he sighed morosely. Earlier Kage had been hanging out with Sai Wolf, when she had managed to escape the clutches of that totalitarian (and oh-so-irritating) brother of hers. Kage didn't like how Alex insisted on controlling his sister's life, and he especially didn't like how the werewolf treated his younger sister. Sometimes it was all Kage could do to keep from starting a fistfight--though to be fair it wouldn't have been the first time Kage traded blows with someone. Though it was usually after Kage had told some girl that their relationship wasn't really supposed to last more than a few days at most...for some reason, that tended to piss off their brothers/father. How strange.

Of course, Sai Wolf certainly did not belong in that category. Even Kage had some morals to him, and Sai was far too sweet a girl for him to pull his usual flirtatious antics with. Besides that, Sai reminded him far too much of...Asakura. So many hundreds of years had past since he had heard her voice, since he had felt the skin of her hands against his, and yet the memories remained as fresh and as painful for Kage as ever.

But no indication arose on the surface of those thoughts. Kage's face remained light-hearted, a smile always at the corners of his lips. He had become a master long ago of burying the pain and sorrow beneath a false facade.

Jayden returned a look of total boredom to his brother. "I know." He sighed. His eyes pierced the forest, searching for any movement- he found none. He leaned against a tree and began picking t the bark absent-mindedly

Sai felt a tight grip on her arm,which lead to an angry Alex. "I couldn't sleep,So I went for a walk..,In wolf form of course."She said smiling.Sai had never been caught before,but she had a plan to get her brother off her back. "I'm home now,you don't have to worry about me Alex" Sai said trying to escape his grip.

"Alex! Don't be so rough on her!" Kira rushed over, loosening his grip on her arm and pulling her away a bit as Sai explained. Kira had been here all night, solely because she had agreed to stay to wait for Sai. Alex as usual, was quite annoyed with her absence. It made things difficult certainly, but it was slightly unhealthy, for both Sai and Alex. Alex for his mood, and Sai for her lack of freedom.

"There see? She was just walking. If you don't allow her freedom of sorts, she'd go mad. I know a certain someone standing before us would be the same. And so would I. So would it not be wise to allow her a simple walk out in the moonlight?" Kira reasoned.

"And I made hot cocoa Sai. Would you like some? Alex is being stubborn and refused, it sort of hurt my feelings." Kira teased, smiling. Everyone and their mother knew that Kira was the best sustinence prepare-er on this side of the continent. Everything she touch just tasted good. It was phenominal really.

Jayden decides to wander into the woods. He glances around, his ears detecting even the smallest sound. He sighed and shook his head briefly before returning to the tree where his brother was and leaned against it yet again

A snal of rage escaped the older male's lips as he saw the two girls fight for freedome. He knew Kira was right, keeping his younger sister in a cage wasn't healthy. But her couldn't help but be so protective over her, she was all he had and he would never forgive himself if something--even a small cut-- would happen to her. He knew he had to "lighten up"--as what Kira would always say-- more with Sai. He took in a deep breath and released his grasp from the girl and listened to her.

"Well I wouldn't mind her going out, if she 'd at least tell me her intensions." He told Kira, he always avoided seeking directly to Sai when angry,knowing himself he'd end up screaming insults at her.Ah Kira, his sister's little fiend the only one he trusts in this terrible place we call earth. He was never fund of the girl, mostly because she nagged him so much about Sai. In his--sexist-- opinion he always though females should be seen and not heard. Some how the girl usually ends up boiling his blood one way or the other; but he can't seem to tell the girl to take a hike.

He rolled his eyes at Kira's teasing and turned away from the two girls. "Women cause so much trouble," he said to himself as he opened the door. Before he could tell the two to get in, he had an odd feeling in his chest. His heart thudded quickly against his chest as he surveyed the vegetation surrounding their home. Heat circulated his body as he felt the presence of--not one but-- two unwanted visitors. "Sai...tell me where the hell you went..." He said in a low dark voice walking closer to the woods.

Kage gave another bored sigh as he watched Jayden tramp off into the woods, returning only a moment or two later, apparently having found nothing else to do in his little trip. "Need to take a vacation from this little hole," Kage murmured, as if to himself, though the smile never left his face. "Maybe go to London or something. London's always very nice."

At that moment, however, the vampire heard a noise in the distance; the sound of a door swinging open, the sound of it detected by Kage's advanced senses. "I did not think we were so close to a village," Kage observed, and he turned towards it, motioning with his head for his brother to follow; after all, it wasn't as if he had anything better to do than to follow a random noise. He walked towards the source of it, but he would not need to go far indeed before a small group of people came into sight--Sai, Alex, and the human Kira. Alex didn't look all too calm at that moment--but then again, that wasn't about to stop a bored Kage.

"Well ain't it a small world," Kage said in greeting, a smile still pasted across his face.

((Since it seemed they were close enough to be detected by Alex...))

"Yeah I'll take some Hot Coco" She said trying to ignore her brother's rants,as usual.
"I don't know where I went Alex,If you didn't notice I cant see." She said sarcastically,Sai joked about her sight often not knowing it hurt him,Sai was actually great at knowing ones emotions,but Oddly he some how was just the hardest to read.She assumed her answer wasn't good enough for him. "It wasn't far I still was in Moonshed..Our scent was strong so I knew I was close to home."She said calmly drowning her lies with a sip of Kira's hot chocolate."This is so good" She said, Her face lighting up with the first sip of chocolaty goodness,and a few marshmallows. All of a sudden she heard a voice,a mans voice,a voice she wished she hadn't heard at the moment,Kage's voice. Part of wanted to let Alex beat the shit out of Kage,but the part that cared for him was much stronger. "Kage..you idiot" She thought to herself while trying not to look angry.

Sai closed her eyes tightly as if just by doing that Kage would disappear and everything would be fine,she hardly closed her eyes so maybe it would work,"...Well it was worth a try"She thought to herself after hearing Alex growl at him.
She reached for Kira's arm, once she grabbed hold of it she pulled Kira down to her level. "I need to do something,Alex and Kage will be brawling if I don't,but if I do something then Alex might find out."She said in a whispered tone.
Sai's heart pounded she really didn't feel like hearing Kage and Alex's fight she had to do something and fast. "At least,Jayden was safe...for now" She thought.

Jayden shrugged before following behind Kage, the leaves making crunching sounds beneath his feet. He peered past his brother, only to see Sai, Alex and Kira. He chuckled, a light and very brief passing of air and flicked his hair to the side in a swift motion, so as to remove his dark hair from his eyes. He stood next to Kage, and looked at Sai, Kage, and Kira with a shy, boyish grin.

"Ah see? Maybe that is a good idea, Sai could simply say something before she heads out..." Kira said as she went to grab hot cocoa, handing Sai a cup and setting one aside for Alex, even though she knew he wouldn't take any, so stubborn. He was rude to her sure, but far ruder still to others, and as long as she could stay and not be turned out then she was ok with any behavior he dished out.

Things seemed to be calming down before Alex suddenly became tense again. Oh dear what now? He looked furious again, he must have smelled something, Kira strained herself to try and detect what it could be. She glanced at Sai as she murmured something. Kira was only human, and did not have superb senses unfortunately, so she had to wait before their visitors came into sight before she knew what was going on.

She walked over slowly to the door, glnacing over behind a peeved Alex, two from Bloodsong, she did not know them well, but she knew of them at least. Kage and Jayden if she remembered correctly.

A small hand grabbed her and pulled her down, Sai. So Sai was lying earlier? This caused Kira to frown, if Sai was going to lie, then Alex would not trust her on her own, this situation was not good. But she couldn't just sit back and allow a brawl to take place. Kira kissed Sai on the forehead, "Goodnight then, I take my leave."

Rushing out into the yard, Kira pushed past Alex uncharacteristically. "Oh! You two from BloodSong correct?" She said loudly, "You must be here to escort me to Mr. Tudor, he wanted to pay his tab to my father if I am correct, I had forgotten to stop by! We must leave then." She acted quickly, looping her arms around theirs and pulling them back abruptly. "Sai will be scolded if you don't play along, please be prudent and wave goodbye!" She whispered urgently, queing them to play along and wave goodbye.

"If you two are friends of Sai, and I assume you are, then why cause her trouble?" Once they were sufficiently in the trees, Kira had let them go. "Causing trouble does no good, and Sai is struggling as it is, so your actions were rather rude..." Kira said, walking calmly now, and speaking as a school teacher might.

Kage was rather bewildered--though it did not show--by the actions of the human, whom he knew only vaguely, before he realised the problem--Alex was being, well, Alex again. That is, being a pissy little-- Before he could finish the irate thought, Kira looped her arms into theirs and then before he knew what was going on they were off, being dragged by this unusually strong human lady. He barely had time to wink and smile at Alex in his infuriatingly playful manner before they were out of sight and the human released them at last and then unleashed a barrage of words on them.

"Ah...fair point, that," was all Kage conceded after Kira had finished. "See...all I heard was a door opening and since I thought we were still in Bloodsong, so I went to check it out...cripes, I guess I was so bored I didn't realise I'd wandered into werewolf territory." When she mentioned causing Sai trouble, Kage's ever-present smile lessened--though not by much. "It's not my fault Alex refuses to treat his sister with the bare respect that she sure as hell deserves. If Sai weren't against it I'd have no problems punching out that asshole...but that ain't my call."

Jayden is dragged, surprisingly so, by the oddly strong human girl. When she finally stopped dragging the two of them, he steadied himself and stood amongst the brush and trees, next to Kage. In response to her statements, he just nodded his head, agreeing with what Kage had stated, his eyes moving to study her face, briefly. He studied her features momentarily, unsure if he had any recollection of seeing her prior to now. He removes his eyes from her and turned his blue eyes to a small plant between Kage and himself. He justs stood there, and scratched his head briefly, then put his hand down next to his side, his inborn trait of infuriating shyness clearly showing.

"It would be your fault is Sai is never allowed to see you again..." Kira slowly said, she could tell that they were Sai's friends, or at least Kage was, because he spoke of her deserving respect. "I can see that you care for her though, and as her best friend I thank you for recognizing what she deserves. But I'm afraid that you don't understand the situation that she and her brother come from. Violence can't solve hurt that was made by other violence. So if you wish to aid Sai, then be gentle..." Kira turned away, beginning to walk in the direction or her own village.

"I have been trying on my own for quite some time, but maybe you two could help the situation along. Good bye friends of Sai, and thank you for making her night slightly brighter." Kira said as she walked away.

Sai sighed after sensing Jayden's presences. "Of Course.." she muttered under her breath.
Just then she felt gentle lips touch her forehead,Kira's. She smiled to herself when she heard Kira fix the situation. Once everything was quiet she spoke "So...do we have anything to eat.."She said trying to break the silence she put her hands out in front of her trying to find the kitchen,After several minutes she made it to the fridge, she opened it taking in the scents.

(Werewolves have super strength and senses, far beyond those of both wolves and men.) She sniffed multiple times "Deer,Dog....Bear,Your saving this stuff for the full moon tonight,right" On the night of a full moon a werewolf is at their strongest,But they have no control of themselves.Also on this night they crave meat more then usual,Anything can happen if there not careful.

Which is why they kept raw meat in their fridge to try and prevent accidents (Especially with Kira around.),But it usually doesn't hold them for long. "I hope Kira remembered there was a full moon tonight."Sai said a bit worried. If she needed to she could hold herself back long enough for her to escape,but she was wasn't sure if Alex could. Sai closed the fridge door. She made her way to a window taking a seat she closed her eyes feeling the heat of a slowly rising sun of her face,she smiled.

Jayden 's blue eyes watched as the human girl turned and began walking in the direction of PureCreek-the human town in BlueStone. He chuckled lightly at her little rant, and then turned to his brother when she had vanished from sight. "So, what d'ya wanna do bro?" he asked in a tone of boredom and a light punch delivered to Kage's shoulder.

Alex let out another growl of frustration watching Kira run off with the two. He didn't trust the two vampires, not one single bit. He hated how his little sister could feel so relaxed and comfortable with out them. He's always told the female never to be around them, they were a natural enemy; but of course she'll never listen to him. Eventually he bit his tongue and tried not to yell too much whenever he could pick up the wretched stench from the blood suckers.

He gave a sigh as he followed Sai into the kitchen, even if the girl had a disability she proved that she was capable of doing things on her own. He was proud that his sister barely needed any help.

He nodded and took his place on the dinner table. "Yeah, you know how crazy we get." he said with a small sigh. He hatted when the full moon would arrive, it terrified him more then other people. He knew how irritable and angry he turned into a wolf. He had through about locking himself in the basement and allowed his sister to roam free--mostly because she had more control than he ever had. He then bit his lip thinking about Kira. He was really worried about the girl, last thing he wanted was for her to get hurt. But why? He shook his head unable to understand.

"Well, she's a strong girl," he said with a smile. "I'm sure she'll be fine."

Jayden looked up, seeing the moon rising-it was full. He knew what that meant, at least for the werewolves. "Hey, we should get back to BloodSong." He said, his blue eyes tilting up to the sky momentarily, almost like pointing, then they flashed back to his brother's eyes. He didn't want to think he was scared of the werewolves, because he wasn't, he just didn't want to have to kill one in defense. He brushed a part of his hair out of his face-it was really starting to get annoying,

"You need a haircut, young brother of mine," Kage observed with mock wisdom, as if he were one of the wisemen of ancient ages advising a fledgling student. His words were rather hypocritical in all truthfulness; Kage's own dark brown hair was sweeping well past his jawline and flowing down past his shoulder--but he would not have it any other way. Why ruin perfection?

"But a fair point you make," Kage stated with his ever-present smirk widening. "As much as I would love to stick around and mess with a few pissed off werewolves like last time--ah, good times--I would not think to cause another problematic incident." He began tramping off towards the general direction of the Bloodsong territory. "Ah well, the mountains were getting kinda dull."

Jayden smirked as Kage commented on his, sort of long, hair. "Yeah, well you need a haircut too." He slapped the back of Kage's head lightly and rolled his eyes briefly ass Kage turned to go towards BloodSong, and followed. As he walked he made faces behind Kage's back, laughing silently, and enjoying his game made up out of pure, and unadulterated boredom.

(Just got home from a major festival for my school,have tons of Hw so this is gonna be short.)

"I guess your right" Sai smiled,she still felt worried though.Starting to feel a little bit tired,she closed her eyes.She spoke softly "Alex..Why does your voice always sound like your in pain" It was quiet. "You don't have to tell me..I was just wondering" She said completely relaxed

"'ere, I'll make you a deal," Kage replied as they walked on. "Once I'm dead you can personally give me a haircut. 'til then not a hair on this sexy head of mine is goin' anywhere...and I hope you realise I can totally see you making retarded faces at me. My, my, kids these days..." Kage sighed as if kids these days (which apparently included his brother, younger than him by about two minutes) were the cause of every problem and danger that now plagued Bluestone.

(Sorry again D: Summer classes are making me forget about my roleplays x.x D: summer school is not fun x.x)

Alex balled his fingers into a tight fist, he was worried and terrified. He tried his best to hide his fear but knew that his little sister could still tell. He tapped his finger tips on the table's surface. His mind conjured brutal and demented images of his wolf form ripping his home apart, drooling viscously and hungrily at the scent of fresh flesh. A shiver ran down his spine as he shook his head taking the images from his thoughts.

He looked up at his sister and flashed a sad smile at her. "You know they say curiosity killed the cat." He said as if making a joke for himself but gave in to his sister. "I'm just, worried...about Kira." He admitted to the girl. Though he would not accept it himself, he always cared for the human, he was pretty sure his sister knows how he felt towards the female. "What if I go all Hulk?" He said mostly to himself looking north, it was faint but he could still see the long scratch mark from his claw on kitchen wall.

Jayden rolled his eyes "Kids theses days? Last time I checked, you were only two minutes older than me, And that's funny- you and the word sexy in the same sentence? No way is that the real world-you must have gotten confused with me." He chuckled and slapped the back of Kage's head lightly and took off running towards BloodSong, dodging trees as he went.

(Sorry its so short- I have to pack. Also I am going up into the mountains at a college, for a group thing in school. And I will only have my i-pod to post, so the posts may not be too long... I will be back home on Sunday though..)
