Personality: Conary is no longer a wise little caterpillar, but a wiser and more beautiful butterfly. She is of a sweet demeanour, and can usually be found with a placid smile on her face. She is devoted to her friends and usually indifferent to her enemies until they harm her companions. She is also very fond of riddles, and is known to never have a straight answer for any question. She is also known for giving out difficult questions herself. She can also be stern should it become necessary.
Conary also has a tendency to compare things, such as the current Wonderland to the one of old. She finds herself comparing each new Alice to the original Alice from years prior, and the new roles with their old. She particularly misses the original Cheshire Cat, with his shady and cryptic words. She has a great deal of respect for eloquence, and can often be heard using flowery words. This does not in any ways mean that the words hold no meaning. On the contrary, every word from her mouth holds meaning in Wonderland, as she is the wise and mysterious Caterpillar.
Fears: Conary is understandably terrified of birds. Her other fear is getting her wings torn off when she has just recently received them.
Biography: Conary has made her home just a ways off from the mushroom kingdom. There, in a realm of poisonous foliage and deadly mushrooms, she thrives. She had been sleeping in her chrysalis during the first years of the war, and did not know of the arrival of new Alices. Now that she awoke, she found Wonderland forever-changed from the curious realm of meandering words into this… demented madness.
Because of this, Conary emerged from metamorphosis prematurely, and she finds that she has difficulty flying in her new form because of it. It pains her to see what the beauty of Wonderland has become, and her pure wish to bring back the innocently mad world gives her the ability to heal both Wonderland’s inhabitants, and nature.
Conary wishes to set things right, in her own gentle way.
Appearance: Conary is no longer a wise and feeble caterpillar, but a wise and beautiful butterfly. Though she was once proud of her three-inch height, with the coming madness of wonderland, she was granted a larger form to stand a fighting chance. She can still shift back into her tiny butterfly form, with large blue and violet wings. They seem to shimmer in the right lighting. In her human form, she cannot fly, as the wings adorning her back are far too small, but perhaps she just needs time to continue her growth.
In her human form, Conary has fair tresses, generally tied back into two curled bunches. Her skin is pale, and her eyes shine a most peculiar shade of violet. Looking into them can put the most anxious and terrified creature at ease… as long as she is feeling amiable.
Crush?: None at the moment, although she finds the March Hare endlessly amusing…
Anything else?: Conary misses the old Cheshire, who had been a very good partner for riddles and cryptic questioning. As a caterpillar changed to butterfly, she has a taste for leaves and nectar. She has no problem with poisons, as her blood itself is poisonous from the toxic plants she ate as a caterpillar. As abilities go, Conary holds little place in battle, but is adept at healing her friends. She can manage this through magic if the wound is small, but also has knowledge of herbs and such if it becomes necessary.
However, her knowledge of herbs can prove useful in the war in other ways as well. She sometimes collects hallucinatory spores from mushrooms and sleep-inducing nectar from plants. Acids, paralyzing pollen, all manners of things can be found near her dwelling and she can harvest all of them… as long as she avoids the ruler of the Mushroom City.
