Description

Image
Name: Freya Richards
Age: 19
NickName: Feisty Freya
Height: 5'8”/178cm
Weight: 125.6lb/57kg
Appearance: Freya has a stick thin, bony figure. She has stretch marks on her thighs and hips which never went away from her early teen years.
Personality: Due to her history, Freya may be a little vain about her facial features and hair, however she is self-conscious about her weight and stretch marks. She tends to be dramatic about things and over-react if something goes wrong – she can be a bit of a drama queen. She doesn't like being forced to do anything and is not afraid to voice her opinions. Her brother calls her 'Feisty Freya' because she has a sharp tongue and gets easily irritated. Although she's not academic, she's very creative and has some common sense. She tends to give out some good advice, although she may sound sound sarcastic and like she couldn't care less when doing it. Her body may be frail, but she is everything but delicate.
Fears: falling into anorexia once again, heights, any sort of bug or spider.
Dreams: Become a professional photographer and have her own studio, gain more weight, to hitchhike her way across the world.
Weaknesses: physical strength, heights, easily stressed out, tends to over-react, academic smarts – she's only just average at these and even below average at some subjects.
History: Since she was a very young girl, Freya was pushed into beauty pageants. At the beginning she enjoyed parts of being in pageants and continued to win titles throughout her childhood and teenage-hood. Although she enjoyed a lot of it during the beginning, she became tired of it when she was fifteen – her mother put too much pressure on her by then. When she was sixteen, Freya became anorexic and only won against the disease when she was eighteen. She stopped going into pageants when she became anorexic, only because she rebelled against her mother. Her parents divorced when Freya was nine and while her mother kept her, her father took her brother Andy with him. At the age of sixteen, Freya moved in with her dad.
Freya comes from a middle-class family. Her mother got re-married to a wealthy man, however Freya's dad is still living a middle-class life and loving it. He's very much a family man.

Freya

Her tale starts with a near-death experience, or so she would like to call it. Freya was bringing her bony figure to the limits, climbing the trees in the town park while attempting to take pictures. Her fair hair was pulled up and she was dressed to be comfortable. She was standing on what seemed like a sturdy branch, on her tip-toes and trying to take photos of the bird nest that was hidden in the higher branches. Her body was pressed against the trunk in an attempt to keep her balance, however when she moved a little she lost her footing and slipped.

Freya let out a scream as she felt her body move in downward direction. Clutching her expensive camera in one hand - a gift she bought herself with the money she won in her last pageant ever; Freya attempted to grab onto anything that passed near her hand. Lucky for her, she managed to grab onto a branch just as about she was to hit the ground. Letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding, Freya let go of her camera after checking that the strap was securely around her neck and jumped down from the branch.

When she was securely on the ground again, Freya inspected her camera for any scratches or breaks. Relieved that the camera was unharmed, the girl looked over her body. She had a few scratches and might have a bruise or two later on, but she was in one piece for what she was grateful.

"I'm not climbing trees ever again." Freya muttered to herself, glaring at the tree like it was guilty of making her fall.

She decided to stroll through the park and take pictures from the safe ground level. Maybe some people wouldn't mind starring as models in a few pictures that she would take today - most of which would either go in her portfolio or onto her blog.

Andy

Easy going as ever, Andy was laid down on the rooftops that were scattered over the city. With his head up in the clouds and earphones in his ears, he didn't care if there was a natural disaster or the apocalypse going on around him. He was relaxing and in a state of near nirvana without the use of anything but the music made by the band of the same name.

He has finished his shift at his dad's motocross bike renting companty about an hour and a half ago and was glad to get away from prissy customers with stupid questions and even stupider ideas about motocrossing. After three hours of saying 'Yes sir we do sell motocross bikes' to people who apparently forgot their reading glasses from home, he was worn out. He also had another three hour shift later on in the day, but was considering to talk his dad out of having to do it.

Andy was a laid back kid and he didn't like being told what to do. He felt like going to some sort of party later on, however he knew of none coming up. Apparently everyone was still worn out from the weekend. Shrugging, Andy went back to listening to his music, noticing a group of people a few rooftops away from himself, staring and pointing at him.

Freya

In the end, Freya's stroll through the park resulted in her ending up in front of the school. With her camera in hand, she smiled at the place - only a year ago she was still a students of the school, although now it was only a distant memory. She had bittersweet memories of the place - she loved some things, but would much rather forget some more. Thinking of how her friends from the year below as well as her favourite teachers were fairing, Freya decided to see if she could get in. She remembered that it wasn't too difficult, the faculty not caring last year if some of the graduated students came back to visit.

After making some small talk at the reception, Freya was given a visitor's pass and was free to walk around the school. It wasn't too difficult, the woman on reception knew her and didn't make too much of a fuss when Freya asked her. Pocketing the pass into her pocket and with the camera hanging around her neck, Freya walked the corridors trying to find some people she knew. Remembering that most likely they would be having lunch at that time, she went in the direction of the cafeteria.

Andy

It turned out that those kids pointing at him were just wanna-be bad boys way too young to be trying to start a fight with him. They told Andy to get away from 'their place' and even threatened him! The nerve. If Andy was anyone else, those boys would be in hospital with broken limbs and swollen lips. However, he was a man of peace so he just let it slide and walked away. He was twenty-four, he wouldn't go about fighting sixteen year olds. Ridiculous.

Andy rolled his eyes as the kids were shouting at him - "Yeah, walk away you pussy!", "Coward, we showed you who's boss!". "You gonna go cry to mummy now?!". With his back turned towards them and walking to put even more distance between them, Andy flipped them off and went down to the street. He had work in a couple of hours, so he wondered if Rome's going to be there. At seventeen, she was still a kid in his eyes but it was amusing to see all those guys' expressions when she answered their bike-related questions perfectly. She had spunk, and he liked that about her. She was as much a little sister to him as Freya was.

Rome
She smiled when they said they would try to come, maybe they would show the people she called her friends how to really party. She thought for a moment when they invited her to lunch, in all honesty she wanted to go to the bathroom and pull herself together after what had just happened. She gave a small sigh looking between the two friends.

“I…um…I guess if you don’t mind.” She said in a small voice.

Soon the group heading into the cafeteria to get some lunch, Kennedy sat quite for the most part not wanting to interrupt them, though she seemed to feel more comfortable here with Chase and Jordan then she ever felt with her own friends, even though they were getting weird looks. It was completely uncommon for the two groups to intermix. She pressed the calendar app on her IPhone. Of course she had work right after school, which she honestly didn’t mind. She didn’t have to work, but it was something that got her out of the house and she really liked working at the Motocross shop. She glanced up to the two as she tucked her phone in her pocket.

“So I know chase likes to rap…what about you?” she asked making casual conversation with the girl. Before glancing to the door way of the cafeteria seeing one of her old classmates. Freya and she had been photography partners and they actually got along fairly well. She gave her a small wave.

"Joe, you start that car up again and I'ma kick you so hard in the groin you'll have to change your name to joline." Shawn yelled from under the car as he tightened up the oil cap and slid himself out. "You know Joe, this ain't bad. We just sit here talking for the most part of the day and work on cars they rest." Joe laughed from the inside of the car, Joe was a family friend and owned the garage. After Shawn graduated he was more than happy to let Shawn come in and work for him. "Ahhh don't be thinking like that kid, this is a garage. You don't want to get all used to this and happy and be settling for it. You got potential kid, you should be out there doing something better." "Joe, I'm only 19. I've been out of school for a year, calm yourself, you've been telling me not to settle for years." "Yea, yea kid. I just don't want you getting stuck." "I appreciate it old man."

The phone rang and Joe got up to answer it as Shawn put the tools away. "Alright sweetie, Shawn will be there in a minute ok. Alright, talk to you later princess." Shawn turned when Joe mentioned his name. "What's up? Your wife wana see me again." "Kid, that's your auntie, she used to change your diapers." "Yea I know, was trying some garage talk, didn't work huh? Where am I going." "Beth is sick, your parents are working. She needs you to go pick her up." "Anything serious?" "No, no, she said her stomach hurt, probably just skipping." "I taught her well, I'll be back later." "Don't bother, I got the rest of the day. See you tomorrow." With a wave Shawn unzipped the top of his garage, navy blue, jump suit and threw on his green marine corp. T-shirt as the top half of his jump suit hanged at his waist.

It wasn't to long till Shawn actually got there. He was a little afraid that his beat up 71 challenger wasn't going to make it. It had been having some problems lately with it being so old. Even in a garage couldn't make up for the money that this car needed but it was a american classic and his car, his car that he was gonna repair over time. As he parked and walked past the parking lot he looked at some of the kids going to different periods or some trying to skip. He didn't hate school but he definitely didn't like it. He walked in and asked for them to call down his sister to the office as he waited. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom, tell her I'll be in the cafiteria if she gets her." The receptionist nodded as Shawn walked his way down there. As he was passing the cafiteria he did a double take. "Freya?" Shawn asked as he saw the framiler blond with her camara. They had been in the same grade since middle school, he had a crush on her all throughout those three years to. "Hey!! Freya! Good to see you!" Shawn was about to go in for a hug but he noticed he was still a little greasy and stopped himself. He was needless to say a little greasy. "Man, it's only been a year but it feels like a lifetime huh? How have you been? Still taking pictures I see." Shawn said wearing a big smile as he talked to her. He was really happy to see her actually.

"Yea, yea, Joe gave me a job the day after graduation, been there for a little over a year. Yea you always do have that camera, hell I bet you have more photos of me then my family haha." It was quiet for a minute, he kept smiling as they stood there. After he got the job he still hanged out with his old parkour crew but back in school he used to be out every night on the roofs with the whole damn school. He didn't hang out with people as much as he used to and that was something he missed.

"Hey why don't I gi-" "Shawn!" came a little girls voice from down the hall as his little sister Beth ran at him, jumping up into his arms. "Hey princess! Wow you look real sick huh?" "Shhhh, your breaking me out of here." "What kind of test is it?" "Algebra." "Ohh that is a bad one. Ok I'll be your clyde, bonnie." Beth smiled and looked over at Freya, "Wow you're pretty! You should date my brother! I think he dates cars." Shawn laugh and shook his head at his sister. "I don't date cars munchkin. In fact," He said turning to Freya, "Would you uhh, want to do something this weekend?" "Psttttt!!" Beth said as she tapped on Shawn's shoulder and handed him a piece of paper she had been writing on. "Give her this." He looked at it and it was his number. Shawn winked at his sister and turned to Freya, handing her the paper. "Why don't you give me a call sometime, we can go get dinner and see a movie or something." Shawn said with a smile as he handed her the paper. "Now I got to get this lil' inmate out of here but uh, I'll talk to you later. Good seeing you again Freya." Shawn said with one more flash of his smile before he started to walk away. "I like her!" Beth said.

Shawn decided they would spend the day in the park as it had been a bit since he had just chilled out. "You don't leave that playground OK?" Shawn said to Beth as she nodded and ran off to the playground. Shawn took a seat next to a girl strumming on her guitar and a man talking to her. He recognized Andy, Joe and Shawn had helped with some of their bike orders when they were overflowed with work. He was a cool guy, laid back, chill. He had seen him around school in Shawn's early years of highschool. They seemed to be the exact same type of guy but in Highschool you hang with your group and your grade, unwritten rule. He would've said hi but it seemed like he was talking to the guitar player and he wasn't going to block him. Shawn took a deep breath and let it out as he let his head fall back and relax.

Freya

Freya was a bit flushed from what Shawn's sister said to them and was a little glad that the girl was gone - it was getting embarrasing. Looking at the piece of paper in her hand, she saw that it was a number - Shawn's. She put it into her phone and decided that it was time to go home. Freya saw all her friends and it was a pretty eventful day, so she decided that it was time to go and spend some time editing the photos that she took.

Walking out of the school, she remembered that there was a party at the weekend - at Rome's. Freya knew that Andy most likely knew about it and Freya got invited a couple of days ago while the two girls were chatting on Facebook. Although Freya wasn't usually a party girl, she wanted to have some fun. Then she realised - maybe she could invite Shawn! She hoped that Rome didn't mind, but wanted to ask the girl anyway.

'Hey Rome. Do you mind if I invite someone to your party? Freya xx. She addressed the text message to Rome and hoped for the best.

Andy

"Hey dude." Andy grinned at Shawn as the boy came up to them. "Yeah, sure I remember you. How are you doing?"

Andy heard the girl with the guitar talk. Tori, huh? Pretty cool name. And she was really good with the strings, considering that she was self-taught. However her last comment made him feel uneasy. "What do you mean that you've been called worse?" He really hoped that it wasn't what he though it was, Tori seemed far too nice for that.

Rome waited for Jordan to reply she hoped she would say yes. It would be good for the both of them seeing as they were both close with Chase, well for the most part, she hoped they could start hanging out again. She felt her phone buzz in her pocket.

“Sorry one second” she smiled to Jordan reading the text from Freya, she had met the girl through Andy and they got along really well. She loved hanging out with Freya, though there schedules were different not leaving them much time to do so.

She thought as she typed a reply to her friend:

Sure thing! Glad you’re coming hopefully we can do some serious catching up :D by the way who’s the lucky Mr.? Anyone I know? Lol jk! But seriously?

She teased her through the text not exactly sure if it was a guy, but figuring it could be.

She pressed send before she glanced back to Jordan.

“So?” she asked.

"Oh thanks." Rome smiled looking down at her dress like she had when Jordan complemented it. She smiled to him "Come in make yourself at home, everyone should be showing up shortly." she said happily "Drinks are in the bar out back, I think the bartender is already there and there's food too." she smiled

Fallon handed Quinn's leash to Rome "All cleaned up for your party" he smirked.

"Thank you Birdy!" she said petting the dog before letting him off the leash.

"Don't even start with that name" he rolled his eyes "I need a drink." he said heading out back.

"I'm always going to call you that, always have always will." she laughed before looking to her friends. About to say something though being interrupted by the door bell. she opened the door to Fraya and Andy. "You guys made it!" she said happily gently hugging Fraya and then Andy. Soon more people starting to show up. Rome was sitting in one of the chairs out back visiting with her brother it was no use answering the door now people were just showing up. This was one of those parties where friends, of friends, of friends showed up.

"Shit!" Rome said taking her phone out.

"You okay there Lottie?" Fallon asked, his nickname sounded so weird to Rome after all these years.

"No I forgot to invite someone and I feel really bad!" she said going through her contacts landing on Levi Marcus. They weren't best friends, but he had tutored her all last year in math and you could say they got kind of close. She would always apologize when Derrick or her other friends would make fun of him. Levi was a cool guy at least she thought so. She shot him a text, that seemed a little too long but she sent it anyways:

Hey, It's Rome, don't know if you still have my number?
Anyways I totally forgot and I feel super bad, but I'm having
a party tonight and I would love it if you came, it started like
an hour ago and it will probably go until 3 or 4. Sorry again
hope you can make it! See you soon? Maybe!
