Chloe Viens's Story

Chloe was running up to the door with more energy than she'd ever had before. She was excited. She knew she'd miss her sister, but at the same time, how often did opportunities as awesome as this arise?
She stopped right behind the others, quickly straightening her green skirt and her braid. She then checked over her blouse to see if any buttons were undone, and then she checked that her shoes were tied. Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect.
Looking closer at the two people in front of her, she saw a girl in a white dress and a muscular man. They appeared to be conversing. She decided to wait until she sensed a good moment to join.

Walking up to the mass of guests, Fenrir hardly considered the ones already there. He heard conversation, not that he cared to join it; he saw and smelled different species, not that he wanted to question or know; and he wondered what they waited for, which he really did want to know.

All things considered, making guests wait outside of a door seemed fairly rude to him, though his definition of rude included anything he didn't like about other people, and by other people, he meant everyone below him. Whoever had the gall to invite him to a pretty, little estate would have to work for his respect, especially leaving him out on the steps. He glanced to the nearest girl who wasn't talking and tapped her shoulder.

"Who are you?" he stated more than asked. Fenrir wanted to know at least one other person there, just so that he knew who to sit by.

Chloe looked over at the man who had poked her. "I-I'm Chloe... And you are?" Man, she really had to work on her social skills. She could barely even speak to anyone. And men were the worst for her. Especially good-looking men.
She hoped he didn't think she was an idiot. He had a condescending aura surrounding him, and she was anything but worthy of respect.
