Elsten looked up from the plants and after being invited in he said good-bye to the plants an walk through the doors. "I am Elsten Stephen Phallis the fourth, I am pleased to make your acquaintance Miss Morkale. I take it your are the daughter I have heard about. If I am not mistaken you have an older brother and your family only welcomes monsters, demon, and others of the sort to work for you." Elsten gave a slight bow of greeting as he spoke, and as he came up he realized how suspicious what he had said just sounded without an explanation. "Oh pardon me, I gathered my information from my little friends outside your front door. Plants have better memories and much more wondrous stories than most people give them credit for." Elsten smiled happily glad that he may have finally found somewhere he can live in peace without the need to worry about cruel, misunderstanding humans. It was something he had longed for for quite some time but was always so fleeting to him. "As for the cold, well I don't mind. It is actually something I have grown accustomed to while growing as a demon of the forests." It seemed that this young looking demon had many stories he could tell as he had said the plants did, maybe even more so than the plants around the area.

If the young girl found this unsettling, she said nothing, but smiled sweetly.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Elsten Stephen Phallis," she said, descending the stairs and giving a small curtsy once upon the last. "Father is always looking for those with special talents to employ. By the sound of your own words, you would be an excellent choice for a Grounds Keeper or Gardener."
She didn't say monsters, nor did she say special talents with an infliction, as if it were a secret. Her tone said that this was, to her, normal.
She looked at him carefully, coming somewhat closer.
"May I ask what you are?" she said boldly. There was no insult there, no sneer. Her tone was so normal that she might have been asking what the weather was like. "You are humanoid, and none of our staff who appear human are, in fact, human. I suppose it is better to have the human skin to protect you from the cruelties of others, but here we allow staff to take whichever form they please, whichever suits their needs better and makes them most comfortable."

"Typically I keep to my human form but on occasion I switch to my true forest demon form. As for being a Grounds Keeper that sounds splendid. And if you wish I can cook as well as I had gotten bored after mastering my control over plants. Over the many years I have lived learning to have all types of plants, normal and demonic, come into full bloom even out of season." As if to demonstrate Elsten opened his hand and a flower that tended to wilt and die in this climate grew in his hand. It had a beautiful design of white and red that seemed to mix together perfectly. "For you milady," Elsten said as he walked over and handed Casandra the flower. "As a demon of the forests I pledge my loyalty to your family if your father would be so kind as to allow me to stay."

She smiled, looking quite pleased.
"You may address me, Cassy,"she said, obviously very flattered by the token offered and then looking to Magnus. "Take him to father. Tell him I insist he see's MrElsten Stephen Phallis right now."
"Yes, my lady," he said, bowing. "This way, sir."
Markus lead him from the entrance hall, which was large and through rooms that were double their size. He didn't speak, just walked with the air of a man who would not stop until his mission was complete.
The girl didn't follow, but her gaze remained on him until they were gone from it.
He pushed the door open to a small room.
"Please wait here," said Markus, giving a short bow and then moving through the room's only other door. When he opened it, it was easy to hear the voices that were muffled before.
"I think he would make an excellent Night Watch Man," said a smooth male voice.
"You think so?" said one that sounded a little older.
"With those claws," continued first voice. "He'd....."
Then the words because muffled as he closed the door.
The conversation beyond the door would have been easy to hear for a werewolf, or anyone with good hearing.
"Markus? Is there something wrong?" said the older voice.
"No, sir. My lord, Lady Cassandra has sent me on an errand."
The smoother voice sounded amused. "And what does she have you doing now?"
"There is a gentleman seeking employment beyond the door which I have just come through. Lady Cassandra would wish you to see him next."
"Would she?" said the smoother voice.
"There is a group still waiting," said the older.
"Yes there is, My Lord, but Lady Casandra expresses this wish."
There was a pause, before the smoother voice said, "his speciality?"
"Gardening sir," said Markus. "Lady Casandra has already anticipated you."
"Do we not have enough gardeners?" said the smoother voice. "But perhaps we can fine something."
Markus reappeared at the door, gesturing for Elsten to walk through and then left him.
The door was a small single side door to the room, the other, double doors being larger and opposite the large desk. There were two men behind it, the one seated was an older man, with a moustache and glasses. The standing gentleman could have been around Markus's age, twenties, with black hair and dressed like a butler. He also had red eyes.
"Please be seated," said the older man nodding to the only other chair in the room.
This chair was very simple, though not uncomfortable. It was also directly opposite two men.
"How can we help you?" said the older man

Elsten followed Magnus through the home and two the door, where he was soon welcomed inside of. Elsten took a seat and with a smile said, "I am looking for employment and I had heard that you only hire demons, monsters and others of that kind. I myself am a forest demon, I can bring plants to full bloom even out of season and I have learned to cook after I became bored from mastering my control of plants both demonic and normal." As he did with Cassy, Elsten decided to show an example. This time however Elsten put his palms together and when he opened them what looked like a Venus Flytrap grew from his hands with no dirt. The difference between this and a normal one is that this on literally came alive and even began to use its roots to walk up Elsten's arm to his shoulder. "This is a demonic Venus Flytrap. Normal ones would only eat what was lured to its mouth, but the demonic ones keep their mouth shut unless they find their prey. They only go after what is wished by those I tell it can take orders from, and they can get much bigger when their prey is found. Great for basic home defense and they also add for great decoration. Of course this is just one of millions that I can create." Elsten smiled to his little plant friend and then looked back to the two males in front of him hopeful with a positive answer.

The old man looked highly amused.
"My, for one who's face is so youthful, he speak so much," he said, but his tone was kindly, almost fatherly.
The man behind him however said nothing, his eyes looking at Elsten as if staring straight through him, pouring the older gentleman a cup of tea.
"Well I believe we have found a solution to our little problem with Pluto," said the older man, looking very pleased as he gazed at the plant. "Of course, the would not harm the guests or the children, would they?"
The man behind him gave a smile.
"I am sure, if you employed this gentleman, that he would ensure that they were the safest plants in the world.... for those who were not supposed to be harmed."
A smirk was playing on his lips, his eyes a red colour.
"I believe I have heard all I require," said the old man with a smile a nod, looking happily at Elsten. "I am sure you have references, but my daughter has a very good eye at spotting those who would be very good for us. Seems she's right again."
The man smiled.
"I would stand and shake your hand, young man, was it Elsten you wished to be called? But I am afraid my knees are not what they once were."
He gave a nod and looked to Magnus.
"If you could please take Elsten to an appropriate room and show him where the kitchen is. You won't be require to cook, but if you wished to, please help yourself to what you will in the kitchen. You shall start tomorrow, if there are no questions or objections?"
It was curious why the man would so quickly have agreed to employ without so much as any previous references, but he seemed satisfied and the butler behind, the one who had not yet introduced himself, was watching him with an amused smirk.

Alistair looked down at the bowl and ate the soup enjoying the taste of actual food rather than scraps and rats. He looked around the kitchen taking in the entrances and exits. If he was to be security lead he would have to know the number of exits and entranceways, any secret passages and if there was a disignated safe area for people to go in case of an attack.

He finished the food quickly and could have easily ate more, he scratched his neck and ajusted his collar. Looking over to Micheal, Alistair stood "How large are the grounds Micheal?" he asked walking over to him.

"I have but one statement: your words are too kind for such an old demon such as myself. For now I will excuse myself, my lord." Elsten walked out of the room and decided to look around. As he left Elsten commanded the plant that was on his shoulder earlier to stay with and obey every command that the gentleman sitting gives. The plant quickly hopped down and went to the man's side before climbing the desk and resting on top of the table.

It didn't take long for Elsten to find the kitchen and another person (seemingly of canine origin) that was talking to another person. "Hello there, I am a new employee. My name is Elsten Stephen Phallis the forth, it is a pleasure to meet you. You must be the new Werewolf employee I was told about before I came into the mansion. The plants didn't quite catch your name, would you mind offering it to me?" Elthen gave a kind smile as he met the wolf man for the first time.

Alistair turned his head a little to quickly causing his collar to snag his skin slightly, giving the person who spoke to him a quick look over he returned the smile and spoke "Alistair Wattson. Pleasure to meet you" He bowed slightly as he awaited a response from Micheal.
