Appearance: "I have dark brown hair and dark jade green eyes. I look like a girl, and I have my hair in a ponytail. I wear my Chinese Officer Uniform, and I always carry my little Shi-Shi with me."
Personality: Yao hails from China, and appears to have a love of cute things, particularly cartoon characters, Hello Kitty, and pandas, and he is frequently seen carrying one, named "Shi". He is also very artistic, as he is skilled at not only painting beautiful human beings full-scale, but also on something as small as a strand of hair. Overall he appears to be a cheerful character, though he can occasionally slip into moments of melancholy when reflecting on how much the world has changed in and outside of Asia. He's also been easily annoyed and prone to snapping.
Biography: Born in China, half brought up in China and America, he is a strange man. He sounds like a girl, and is often mistaken for one, causing trouble in the long run throughout his life. He eventually went to college in America, and met Arthur. They now sing as partners. Referring to themselves as personified "America" and "China," or as he calls himself, "Chugoku."
Other: Yao has made a deal with the owners of the plane and the pilots, so he can have Shi with him at all times, rather than in a cage.
