Shiki had already changed into a dark green shirt and straight black pants. His hair was messy, but he had a smile on his face. His hoodie was still drying, so he had to go without it for the time being. He opened his door slowly, enough to look out. He was still nervous around others and hearing footsteps approaching his door had started to make him shake and sweat. He was relieved to see Noriko. "H-hi again..." He said, opening his door the rest of the way, still smiling.

Taking an ice cream for his own, the teenager's face lights up but it quickly fades as a woman behind the counter checks the time and hands him a little cup. 'Ten minutes,' she grumbled. Looking inside he discovers the tiny white pills and he simply nods, pretending to accept his fate quietly. After all, he was with a friend. Biting into the cold treat, he tries to think back to when it happened, his voice going from a child's to one belonging to a sixteen-year-old. "I was supposed to go to my recital with Jake but my parents took me aside and told me he wasn't real and I was going to a new school. Simple as that. Next day, the men showed up in the white van and took me. Said I couldn't do the things I liked. I haven't been able to dance in soo long," the last half of his sentence comes about with a nostalgic sigh and he adds, "What about you? How did you come to be here?"

Shiki shrugged, taking a bowl of rice and some strips of grilled chicken. He usually just grabbed whatever he could, in order to get away from the crowded line as soon as possible, so choosing something while taking his time was difficult for him to do. "T-this should be f-fine..." He muttered. He turns around and looks at the cafeteria. This place had always made him incredibly nervous... When it was crowded, there would be people everywhere... and when it was empty, he felt alone and lost. He tried to avoid it as much as possible, to be honest.

Shiki sat across from her at the small table. He closed his eyes and tried to imagine all the people there as close friends of his, but it failed quickly. So instead he tried to keep his thoughts focused only on the table they were sitting at, and ignore everything else. This worked better... and he smiled slightly. He picked up some chopsticks and slowly transferred the pieces of grilled chicken to the rice, before beginning to eat it slowly. He then looked at Noriko, having realized something. He didn't really know much about her... In fact he didn't even know her age, though he could guess that she was relatively close to his age. "N-noriko.. um..."
