Once she got home, she was greeted by her mom.
'Hey honey! How was school?" she asked.
Sadler smiled warmly and tossed her bookbag aside and ebraced her mom. "It was okay." she admitted.
"Any fights?" her mother asked, voice tensed.
"Nope!" Sadler chirped.
"That's my girl."
Sadler laughed and then kissed her moms cheek before heading upstairs, flopping down on ehr bed and plugged her iTouch into the dock and flipped on the song 'Remind Me'. She sang along quietly while flipping open her laptop and signing in. She had to type a book report but, decided to just search some stuff for fun.

"Ugh, my mom is going to MURDER me!" He uttered in frustration. He pulled out his cell phone and decided to call Sadler. "Hey" He said casually. "My..uh.. car broke down. Can you pick me up?"

She pulled in and rolled down the window, pulling up besides his car. "You called?" she winked with a small smile, her unusual caramel eyes bright with amusement.

Sadler chuckled and shook her head. "Now now, what did you do now?" she giggled and turned the keys in the ignition, turning around so she could peer behind her as she backed up. Switching her truck back into normal gear, she had one hand on the stick shift and one on the wheel as she drove down the road, humming quietly still to the new song. Bait A Hook. Sadler yawned and stopped at a red light.
At Jame's question the blond haired girl rolled her brown eyes. "Suuure. If you say so." she winked. "Cocky as ever, eh?" she teased. She hummed along quietly once more. Then, the radio switched to commercials. And the sound of an older man filled the truck.
"Once more, there has been the signs of yet another kidnapping in Florida. Devastated parents have reported that their year old child was missing from her crib this morning. The search team has been on the move, lookin gfor any signs of suspects. But there has been no evidence."
Sadler listened sadly. This has been happening a lot lately. Well, at least that is what her mother has been telling her. Its been going along all around the country.
"thats just sad. Children that young being taken? Thats just wrong." she growled. It made her sad, but furious. She couldn't even imagine being kidnapped like that....

James nodded in agreement. "Makes me sick...." He agreed. They continued driving in scilence.

Sadler turned onto a street where James lived. She'd been down here a few times, to hang out. She sighed and stopped in front of his house. "Good luck facing the wrath of the mother. It's probably not going to just be your car's funeral." she teased and when the door opened, she lightly pushed him. "Get outta my car!" she laughed. Once he was out, Sadler waved and backed up, driving out of the neighborhood and back to her own. The southern girl hummed along to the radio, and when she pulled up in her driveway, she went through the front door.
"Back!" she announced and didn't wait for a response. She went upstairs to her room and flipped back open her new Macbook Air laptop and typed in a site address. She had to do a stupid project on law for her government class. Kill me now, she thought inwardly. She looked around and found a website. It had everything. But, it was a news site and there was a whole page full of children who were kidnapped, which the thought made her so infuriated it was scary. She looked at the list of names, ages they were taken (which surprisingly most were infants or about 3 months old), eye and hair colors, weights, and all that good stuff. Next to their name was a small picture of them, and you could see outline sketches of what they would probably look like when they were older.
After about five or ten minutes of looking at names, she came to year, 1995. She looked down the list, reading the names because that was the year she was born.
Then she came across the S's.
SA's
SAD's.
SADL's.
SADLE's.
SADLER's.
And there was only one of those. Pretty mocha, caramel eyes were widened in shock. She dropped her computer. Right there it said SADLER MICHELLE BROOKES. That couldn't be right... her last name was Foerster... not Brookes... Sadler rushed downstairs. Her mother was in her bedroom so she didn't notice Sadler. The shocked, and frightened blond haired girl rummaged through her drawers until she found what she was searching for. Photo albums. There it was. What she suspected. No baby pictures. Just when she was about 1 year and up. That didn't count as a baby picture. Sadler shook her head, squeezing her eyes shut. The outline of her older self looked surprisingly like he did now. When she was about 17 or 18. She ran upstairs, slamming her door and locking it. The first number she dialed was James. She impatiently held the phone to her ear, keeping hot tears in her eyes by squeezing them shut. She refused to believe it.
"Come on, come on..." she mumbled softly. "...pick up." also slipped from her lips. She looked up at the ceiling, not looking at the enlarged sketch of her 18 year old self. One thing she needed.... or maybe two.... evidence, and;
Answers.

Matthew was sitting on the couch, just watching TV when a knock on the door came. He was only 6 at the time and never knew anything about what BreAnne Foerster did. Matt got up and answered the door, his chocolate brown eyes gazing up at the strange woman. "Hello...?" he squeaked. BreAnne gave a mock sweet smile. "Hello sweetie. Is you father home?" she asked. Of course, the young child didn't suspect anything of her. "Yeah! Dad! Somebody's here to see you!" Within a few seconds he was standing by the door. At the mere sight of the brown haired woman, he froze, eyes wide. "Leave. I owe you nothing!" she yelled. The woman just chuckled and looked down. "Matthew, get out of here..." his father warned just as she began pulling something out of a handbag Matt never even realized was there. "Matthew, now!" he bellowed and he obeyed, dashing up the stairs to his room. "Sophia! Come here!" she called to his younger sister. They both went into his room. Then, a loud banging noise started, and crashing that Matt immediately knew was the fine china his mother had protected like a mother bear does her cubs. Luckily she was at work at the moment. After a few moments of silence, his bedroom door crashed open and he and his sister cried out in surprise.
"Now, sweetie," she said in a bitter-sweet voice. "...do you know where your daddy keeps his money?" she growled, grabbing Sophia out of Matthews grasp and then pulled her into a headlock. "And I'd suggest that you tell me now." Matthew shook. Of course he knew, just in case an emergency happened but vigorously shook his head no.
"N-No, I don't know!" he squeaked.
"I'll give you one more chance." she growled and tightened her grip, making Sophia scratch her captors arms. The woman pulled a gun out and place it against her temple.
"Matthew yelled and then nodded. "O-Okay! Its i-in the cookie j-jar!" he stammered. Tears rolled down his cheeks.
"Now that's a good boy." she purred, and pulled the trigger, letting the bullet fly towards his sister.
"Noooooo!" he screamed in terror, just as his sister crumpled to the floor in a lifeless heap.
Matt stopped dead in his tracks. (hahah very punny :) and his cold, furious eyes watched the truck ride by. It took all of his self-control not to chase after it and pound that girls face in for what her mother did.

This time, she typed in Sadler Michelle Brooks.
A whole list of URLS came up. Mostly news sites with missing children names. This was not good, not good at all. Who was living in her house? Obviously that couldn't be her real mom... And of course, she didn't know what she had done. That was a while back.... Her eyes were stretched wide and she flopped back on her back on her bed, and blinked a couple times. Then she couldn't help it and tears poured down her face like an angry waterfall. Everything she has ever known, was fake. It shouldn't even be her life. She should have a different family. Maybe even a brother or sister. Then she realized something... maybe her dad wasn't dead...
Her real dad was probably still alive.
