Personality

Ricky is a joker and prankster, normally going far enough to piss off his team but never causing real harm. He likes to be lazy and enjoy the simpler things in life, like staring at the moon, feeling the wind, or just shooting his bow. Not much fases him, not even when someone dies. He just blows right past it and keeps shooting until the target is dead. When it comes to loot, he looks for specific things, and will not stop until he has whatever he needs. Normally, he plays nice and only sets his sights on a single part or two. When something priceless presents itself, however, that could mean his bow becoming even more deadly right then and there, stealing is always an option.

History

Ricky was born to a family set up deep in the mountains, and was taught by his father from a young age to hunt and survive in said mountains. Of all the weapons his mother taught him to use, Ricky favors the bow because, unlike bowguns, it can be used for range or the arrows used for close combat. If all else fails, the bow itself can be relieved of its string and makes a suitable glaive. Around the age of twelve, Ricky went out on his first hunt. He came back with the mysterious black bow but never told of its tale. On his second hunt, his father tripped up while holding back a Giadrome with a gunlance and was flung into a cliff, then mauled by Giaprey while Ricky dealt with the Giadrome. Ricky's father survived long enough to be brought home, but died soon after. A year later, his mother fell ill and, while Ricky was out searching for appropriate herbs, died quietly.

Ricky only saw this as a freeing of bonds and flung himself happily out into the world, making a solid life as a hunter. Nothing has ever changed his view of weapon choice, though he does try out a gunlance or dual swords should the chance arise. Ricky specializes in larger kills, prefering to outmaneuver them and plant as many arrows in them as he can before going for a kill blow. As such, Ricky's endurance is unnaturally high. For reasons unknown, Ricky is terrified of white wyverns. It is suspected that he whitnessed a fight between a black and white wyvern, and the white won, thus giving him the chance for the bow.
