Moon Light Stables

"Tiara bit me..." Danny said to Paul, finally finished cleaning the stall and put a new layer of straw down. Tiara helped by being totally in the way the whole time. When Danny left the stall to go put everything away and get the feed, Tiara came up to the door and whinnied excitedly. Another unicorn flattened their ears and looked at her annoyed, some horses were trying to have a nice quiet breakfast here! She reared slightly and kicked the door. Danny came back with several flakes of hey and a scoop of sweet corn. "OK girl! Whoa calm down!" She wouldn't give Tiara the food until she calmed down, she was training a horse the same way you train a dog but it seemed to work. Tiara calmed down and then got her food, finally being calm and quiet. Danny sighed in relief, what a hand full.

"Danny, i got a truck load of hay, on my way back, can you make sure the side door is open and make sure nothing's in the way. I'm going to back up to the doors, so it's easier to unload." Cody said over the radio. He then started heading towards teh stables, so that the hay could be unloaded. As he was heading back towards the stables he heard the radio go off.
"Danny, Cody and AJ, it's Melody." One of the staff members spoke. Melody was the one that most people enjoyed, she was always there when one of the Kids needed her, and she was also the one that's always willing to go that extra step to help train the kids.
"Hey Melody, it's Cody, I'm listening." Cody replied back to her, waiting to see what she had to say.

"Will do!" Danny said enthusiastically. She loved helping people, and loved it when they asked her to help. She finished with Tiara and made sure nothing was in the way of the truck for unloading. Someone had left a grooming kit sitting there, all the tools spread out. She thought that was odd but put them away and took them back to the tack room. She made sure both the doors were open all the way when she heard Melody on the walkie talkie. Melody was such a nice lady. "I'm listening too! What's up Melody?" Danny said, standing by the bit doors.

"I'm going into town, i'll be gone most of the day. We got a new group coming in. Can you three take care of the group, and ask Paulson to help as well." Melody said over the radio.

"Not a problem Melody. Do you have a list of the group that's coming in?" Cody asked. He pulled his truck up to the door, and climbed out, placing the radio on his belt where he usually keeps it. Cody looked around and then began pulling the barrels of hay off the back of his truck. Once he finished unloading his truck, he began taking the hay to the storage area where they usually keep the hay. "Thanks Danny for getting that done for me, it's a great help." Cody said as he walked by Danny, with two barrels of hay in tow.

"Some new kids, eh? Well, we could certainly use some help 'round here, especially since Bret and a lot of the other staff refuse to get off their lazy asses and help us. Thank the Lord for you, though, Melody! Glad to have someone here that actually cares as much as we do!" said Paulson over the radio as he walked over to where Danny was, ready to help unload the hay. "You alright, Danny? Sounded like that bite really hurt!"

Cody nodded to Paulson. "The kids should be here about 9, that's usually the time a new class starts." Cody said, while walking by Paul and Danny. "After we unload the truck, i got to head out to the fields and check on the herd, make sure everything is alright. Want to join Paul?" Cody offered. He threw two more barrels into the closet and went to get a couple more.
