Personality: Cleaver is one word to describe Kate. She is always thinking of ways to get around a situation. It is a great quality to have in life. Although she may not use it like it should be used. Well truthfully she doesn’t really use it at all, the gift it tucked away in her mind. She may need to use it on a rainy day though, just not now.
Another great thing about Kate is that is bubbly and silly. Always laughing a giggling. Jokes are her closest friends. Having that characteristic comes with acting childish. Sometimes it annoys people while other times it doesn’t it just depends on who she is with, I guess.
I have another word to describe Kate too, stubborn. She will always stand her ground and not back down. Yet she is weak, she can be hurt so easily. That is why she has all the issues she has now because people hurt her so easily. But with time spent at Morning Wood, she has grown to know that it doesn’t matter what people think of you.
For the kind of people she dislikes, she really dislikes people that are big flirts. She finds it annoying and arrogant. She doesn’t even like to be around big flirts. Another thing she doesn’t like in people is when they are don’t pay attention to you when you’re right in front of them. Like when they are mad at you they just ignore you even though your right there.
History: Kate grew up in the good family, unlike most troubled teens. He mom was an amazing baker and owned her own little bakery shop in town. He dad was a lawyer and always seemed to have a client. They were the perfect family.
Kate’s mom was home more than her dad but that was expected. Kate’s mom always told her to make the right choices. It came as a surprise to them when Kate went behind her parents back to get a Monroe piercing. The truth though is that Kate only did that to fit in.
Since she was younger she got tease about being fat and ugly. Kate thought that if she just did things that people thought would make her better it would. So when she was 14 her boyfriend called her fat and told her to try puking up what she ate. Of course Kate obeyed. She felt so skinny, it made her feel pretty. Well up until about 4 weeks after her fifteenth birthday. People started calling her fat and ugly again, so wanted to feel pain so she started cutting herself.
Her parents found out about Kate’s issues because she was 138 pounds at 14 and by the time she was 15 she was 105 pounds. She lost over 30 pounds in less than 1 year! They also got hints because they would find blood spots in different places throughout her room and the bathroom.
2 days later they sent her away, it was for the best. They write her letters telling her about life. Kate wishes she could get out soon, she misses home.
