Kellen Vaughan's Story

[ Viking / Original Vampire ] [ Pureblood: Auror Killer ]

Kellen had been sitting at the table for quite some time now, but it wasn't too long until his 'Master' joined the kitchen and took his rightful place at the top end of the long ebony wood table. Every seat was reserved for those who had agreed to be on the Dark side of the war, and this was quite the only place that felt like home for Kellen. He was surrounded by witches and wizards who hungered for blood as much as the next person, and never felt ashamed upon taking an innocent life. Not once did they feel remorse. Donovan's bloody attire hadn't gone amiss, but all Kellen could do was smile as he looked down to the breakfast that their compelled servant had rustled up for him. The images of the person being tortured in that chamber, was a lullaby to the demons that were trapped within his warped and dark mind. "Have fun did you?" he finally spoke, stabbing his fork into the chicken breast before lifting it to his mouth and taking a bite. Yes, even as a Vampire he enjoyed the taste of human food from time to time. "An Invitation would of been more than adequate." Even though Donovan was the leader, Kellen always thought that he would do better to be sat in the high chair, but their Dark Lord had picked Donovan to lead. The Dark Lords words were always final, and Kellen could never argue against such power.

The Viking had many stories to tell with being over 1000 years old, and seeing that Dragons still remained in the world brought a kind warm feeling to him as they were the only connection left to his Viking era. He was known by all for killing the Ministry of Magics Aurors, which was never an easy task, for their jobs were to capture the Dark Witches and Wizards to take them to Azkaban where they would rot behind bars for their unforgivable crimes, but not on Vaughan's watch. You remember the infamous Mad Eye Moody, correct!? his fate had sadly fallen within the hands of the Auror killer.

No-one who sat at this table had; had the privilege of setting their eyes upon: He Who Must Not Be Named, but Kellen had. He even went to battle against Hogwarts during that time, and witnessed the fall of his Lord. Now, there was a new lord. No-one had seen him yet, and they were eager to. He finished off his food, then wiped his mouth with one of the napkins beside his plate. With being unable to die from any dark magic like: Avarda Kedavra, Kellen sometimes got a little cocky. He enjoys pushing himself like a Beta challenging an alpha. Now, if their was a stake at hand with his name written on it!? that would be a whole different story, but it couldn't be just wood. It needs to be enchanted with fire.

♦Dialogue: #3e7e2f ♦Half-Blood ♦Werewolf

ImageHis mother were always the dreadful and terribly dull kind but lately all she did was gaze out the window to the mountains, sulking in silence. "Oh when will you cut your pathetic mourning out. He's been dead for...what..a solid 25 plus years?" He guessed. Insulting her emotions or asking open questions never evoked a response and this time were no different. "What a pety sight you make along with your reputation. Hell, not just your reputation but all werewolves and his above all. Sulking in the shadows helplessly. Fenrir would be so disappointed in the creation of you." Her face turned in the slightest, and he heard a low growl.
A wicked grin spread across his features as he shrugged on his jacket. "That's all I needed to hear."

He knocked on the house Donovan preoccupied followed by immediate proceeding. Viktor closed the door behind him and strode to the busy kitchen area, his eyes unable to help but find Kellan instantly. "Ah. I see you're still invited to these meetings. And breathing in some form or another." He added under his breath not bothering to hide the distaste in the matter. But it was Grimm's call.

He took a seat and before he could even mention an apology for interrupting a possible routinely torture, he stopped and caught the scent of death in the air. Then saw blood all over Grimm's former attire. "Just missed it. Blast. Who was it this time?" Viktor asked.

"Ah. I see you're still invited to these meetings. And breathing in some form or another."

Kellen couldn't help but smirk at the werewolf's words. He had been feeling bored at this point, but right on cue, there was someone for Kellen to tease. "And I see that Donovan still allows pets at the table. Come now, mate, lets not bicker like a married couple." it may of been under Viktor's breath, but Kellen heard it as clear as day. It wasn't like Viktor was hiding it anyway. He never liked werewolves, he had killed a few back when he enjoyed the sound of pure steel crashing against its opponents. Those days were long gone, and he so wished to go back in time to relive those moments. Viktor was probably the only werewolf he liked because he saw something inside of him. A Warrior.

As we all know, Vikings respect those of great strength, and bravery. Cowards would be banished from their lands, and scorned for all eternity if they ever got to Valhalla. "I'd hate to have to mount your head on my wall." Kellen had never been the one to speak of words that he could not make happen, so the werewolf was lucky that he was within Kellen's good books.

Soon enough, the tension between werewolf and Vampire had evaporated into thin air as Viktor took his seat at the table, then commented towards Donovan's bloody attire. "Just missed it. Blast. Who was it this time?" Kellen looked up to the werewolf. He considered to make his own comment, but remained silent this time. Hopefully this meeting wouldn't be too long, but they did need to go over their plans.

PUREBLOOD ✫ RAVENCLAW ✫ 5TH YEAR ✫ LIGHT SIDE

Her room was softly lit from her desk lamp, hovering its light over paperwork as Sophia sat at her desk to study a little before going to sleep. It was only 9pm after all, so an hour of studying would be fine. There was so many teachers she couldn't wait to see again, and so many classes that she was excited to attend; such as.. Care of Magical Creatures, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Charms, Transfiguration, and so much more that Sophia enjoyed every term.

Her homework was always on time, and she made sure that she didn't miss a thing during classes because her O.W.L.S weren't far away, and she needed her grades to be perfect. All of this hard work never once made her stuck up though, she would help practically anyone, especially those from Hufflepuff. Sophia hated how much that house got hatred from the others, all because it wasn't as popular, and so what!? Hufflepuff was full of kind, caring, trustworthy, protective, and loyal people. How could anyone dislike them so much? Gryffindor didn't have a bad say about anyone but Slytherin.. and who could blame them?

Of course not all Slytherins are nasty bullies etc, but those who were!? they deserved everything they ever got. It was about time that others stood up to them, and to let them know that they didn't own or rule the school. Minerva did.

Sophia kept her window open as usual so Athena could fly in after hunting, then turned off her lamp before climbing into her soft, warm, double bed that was covered in her favorite rose gold colored quilt that was made of silk. Sophia's bed was so comfy!? that it would make you feel like you were sleeping on clouds. It was always nice to be home, but Hogwarts needed everyone more than ever this year.

[ Death Eater Leader / Torturer ] [ Mud Blood: Muggle Born ]

Donovan strutted over towards the large seat at the head of the table, pulling it out before plopping down on it. Although he may have dressed like a gentleman does not mean he always acted like one. Holding his drink in his left hand, he reached his right hand into the left interior pocket of his jacket, pulling out a small knife. He leaned forward, stabbing the blade into a green apple that rested in a fruit bowl at the center of the table. He then nonchalantly slouched in his chair, kicking his feet up on the table. "Have fun did you?" Donovan brought the apple to his lips, biting into it and pulling the fruit from his blade. He raised his brows towards Kellen while grinning with the apple in his mouth. He stabbed his knife into the table's surface, before pulling the apple from his mouth but not without taking a bite. "Always."

Upon finishing his current bite of apple, Donovan took another drink of his bourbon. It's a wonder how he's healthy or even alive with his dietary habits. "An Invitation would of been more than adequate." He went to take another bite of his apple, pausing with his mouth open, nearly sinking his teeth into the green peal. "Well as much as I enjoy your thrilling personality and stunning physique... I'd rather not spend anymore time with you than necessary dear Kellen." He then took the bite of his apple, chewing it and swallowing before continuing. "I don't generally appreciate the presence of those who think they should be in my place." Donovan didn't particularly have an issue with Kellen and it generally didn't even bother him that he thought he'd be a better leader than him. But because of that it was hard to trust Kellen and having him in a room full of blood... Well that could turn out badly for Donovan. "But help yourself to whatever blood that is still in there... It may be cold but," He shrugged his shoulders, "You are a viking." He smirked, taking another bite of his apple.

Donovan barely had to look up from his meal of booze and fruit to know that Viktor had entered the room. "Ah. I see you're still invited to these meetings. And breathing in some form or another." He looked up with a hug bite of apple in his mouth, raising his brows in curiosity, "Meeting? What meeting?... You know you should really keep the leader in on this information." He grinned teasingly before chasing his bite of apple with some bourbon. Apparently Donovan was talking more to himself rather than his wonderful company. "And I see that Donovan still allows pets at the table. Come now, mate, lets not bicker like a married couple." He raised his brows when he heard his name, looking between Kellen and Viktor. I'd hate to have to mount your head on my wall."

Groaning, Donovan finished off his apple before speaking, "Jesus you all bicker more than my parents did..." He threw the apple core into the trash basket without leaving his seat. "...I killed them." He grinned evilly while making eye contact with either one of them. Viktor must have noticed the blood that Donovan had quite forgotten covered him from head to toe. "Just missed it. Blast. Who was it this time?" He chugged the remaining bit of his drink, running a hand back through his blood streaked hair. "Ministry spy." He scratched his chin, "Either their spies are getting worse... Or I'm getting better. I haven't quite decided which." Donovan looked between Kellen and Viktor, "Trying to find out when we plan on attacking Hogwarts. But thankfully James Bond in training hadn't found anything out... And now his entrails decorate one of the rooms in the East Wing." He grinned.

"Well as much as I enjoy your thrilling personality and stunning physique... I'd rather not spend anymore time with you than necessary dear Kellen." Kellen wished that he'd choke on that damn apple already. Sadly, wishes never came true, so he remained calm, and laid back. "I don't generally appreciate the presence of those who think they should be in my place." Kellen now smirked. He didn't [ H A T E ] Donovan, but he didn't like him 100% either. Still, Kellen kept his slight dislike for the man to himself out of respect. "But help yourself to whatever blood that is still in there... It may be cold but," He shrugged his shoulders, "You are a viking." Donovan smirked, taking another bite of his apple. "How very tragic he said sarcastically while faking concern in his face before smiling. "Afraid of competition? - and watch your tongue," He warned jokingly. "I don't consort with beggars." He definitely would never take scraps. He could find his own blood. When needed.

"And what information did you extract from him?"

PUREBLOOD ✫ RAVENCLAW ✫ 5TH YEAR ✫ LIGHT SIDE

Sophia was finally at the school, and already one of the 1st years had caused trouble by using one of the schools brooms to fly around the clock tower unsupervised. They screamed as they fell off the broom, and landed on the ground with barely a soft landing, even if there was grass to break the fall a little. They couldn't walk. "Stay still. Don't move." Sophia shouted across the courtyard while rushing over to the scene. Everyone was crowding around the poor injured girl. "I'll go get help." Sophia rushed towards the headmasters office, and barged in through the wooden door on accident. She was now face to face with three confused and startled grownups. Sophia felt embarrassed that she had stormed in uninvited during possibly a meeting.

"Forgive me, professor, but it's an emergency." she said immediately, and still out of breath from running all the way here. "I..." she didn't want to get the first year in trouble for breaking one of the brooms while flying around the tower on their 1st day of school, but she also didn't want house points deducted for taking the fault. She didn't enjoy being a snitch, but it was breaking school rules. Lying, and flying unsupervised. "A first year student somehow found the Quidditch school broom supplies, and now they're in the courtyard on the grass with a broken leg, or arm.. or both."
she was panicking, and feeling a little light headed. She hadn't had time to have breakfast this morning before catching the Hogwarts Express, so her sugar levels were low. She felt like she could pass out at any moment. She looked a little pale.
