Personality:
Genesis is a warm and enthusiastic person who is very bright and full of potential. She lives in the world of possibilities, and can become very passionate and excited about things. Her boundless enthusiasm lends her the ability to inspire and motivate others, more so than the average person and as such she makes an excellent teacher. She can talk her way in or out of anything. She loves life, sees it as a special gift, and strives to make the most out of it.

Gen has an unusually broad range of skills and talents. She is good at most things which interest her. To onlookers, Gen may seem directionless and without purpose, but she is actually quite consistent, in that she has a strong sense of values which she lives with throughout her life. Gen needs to feel that she is living her life as her true Self, walking in step with what she believes is right. She sees meaning in everything, and is on a continuous quest to adapt her life and values to achieve inner peace. She is constantly aware and somewhat fearful of losing touch with herself.
Gen often has difficulty focusing on following through with her projects, as she has a tendency to start multiple projects at once and jump between then. History: Genesis was born to Veronica Lyre and Hermes the god of transitions and boundaries. Her mother, a high powered director of a five star resort on Saint John in the Virgin Island. This job often kept her away from her daughter and Genesis was left in the capable nurturing hands of Miss Isabel their nanny and house keeper.

Isabel treated Genesis as she would her own daughter, taking her to town, playing with her on the beach and teaching her how to be a good person and a strong woman. But Isabel had a family of her own to take care of, and that meant that most afternoons she would leave "Miss Lyre", as she called her, alone under the assurance that Veronica would be home soon after she left. This situation worked for the better part of Genesis's formative years. But her mother was often despondent and listless when she got home, seemingly always tied up in some crisis at work. Soon after she began to return home later and later and Gen began to resent her mother's work. Life was not always easy for Gen, she sorely missed her mother and spent long afternoons alone in the Caribbean heat waiting for her to get home.

At the age of 9 Veronica grew tired of her responsibilities to her daughter and enrolled her in a prestigious boarding school and soon she was laughing and playing with kids her own age deep in the rolling hills of Kentucky. There were many things Genesis did not understand about herself, why it was that when she was in trouble she could talk her way out of almost any punishment where the other kids had no such luck.

On the eve of her 13th birthday she discovered a stairway that lead into the eves of the school and there at the end of the stairs was a small door, one locked solidly against intruders. This restriction immediately irked her and though she went to her classes that day, the door was never far from her mind and she spent all her free time there. As the clock neared midnight Gen sat at the top of the stairs, staring at the door, longing for it to open. The longer she stared at the lock the more she felt that she could see the inner workings of the mechanism, she envisioned it opening for her and as she did there was a faint click and the door swung inwards revealing Hermes in his full godly glory.

He proceeded to explain to her the gifts of a demi-god and insisted that she attend Mount Olympus Academy. With only a little argument she was convinced and she attended the Academy, Excelling in her studies and becoming fast friends with her classmates. After completing her 4 years she continued on to college loving the rigors of academic life that she continued all the way through to her PhD. After finishing her education she floated through a couple of teaching jobs in her major but nothing really felt like it fit her. That is, until she was informed of the opening for the position of Psychology teacher at MOA she had found her place.
