Muralan- a world teeming with supernatural life, where power reigns supreme. In this place, many different species and types of creatures live. Although they are all different and like to keep it so, they all have one thing in common- a grudge against humans. It is this grudge that keeps discrimination strong in this world, particularly the one between supernatural and human.

For this reason, the Hunters were formed. Working underground, their goal seem to be only one thing- to wipe out all supernatural life. No one knows if they have any other motives, other than being considered an 'inferior' species. There are many families who have fallen prey to the dark and grisly tactics of these unmerciful humans, although the Hunters are still something of a legend, and not truly their own faction......yet.

In response to this, the Council, the leaders of the world, decided to make a school. Here, they would teach their young how to survive in such a cruel world, how to defend themselves, how to control their own abilities, and much, much, more. This school is the first interracial and inter-ranked school, allowing Purebloods, Nobles, and Misfits all to be taught together no matter what race they are. It is located on the border between the two most powerful countries, Pandaemonium and Ashlar.

[Darius and Atryom]

"Hurry up. We don't have all day, so meet me in the auditorium before they call for the assembly. Got it?"

"Yes, sir." Darius and Atryom answered together as they stood in the hall. They were speaking to a tall man.

"Alright then. Go." With that, the tall, mysterious-looking man turned on his heel and left.

After a moment, as Darius watched him walk away, he put an arm to his head and said, "Jeez, the old geezer sure is demanding today...."

Atryom shook his head. "You shouldn't talk that way about your father, Darius. He might hear...."

Darius shivered visibly a little bit, sputtering, "I-I'm not scared of that g-guy." He regained his composure, straightening his rather crisp-looking suit. "Anyway, since we're here before everyone else, lets go get our dorm keys. Besides, my old man would get mad if he found out that we ditched him for no good reason."

Atryom nodded, falling into step beside Darius as they hurried to the lobby of the school, where the teachers would be distributing the keys to each individual's dorm. It didn't take long, since Darius had a map with him to figure out where they were going. Once they got to the lobby, which was just beyond the front doors of the school, Darius and Atryom went straight to a table where two teachers sat. One was a huge man, obviously a demon, and the other was a silver-haired woman whom looked small in comparison.

"You two, are you here for the dorm keys?" Without any hesitation, the woman called out to them, "Show us your acceptance letter. Every student must do this in order to get their dorm key, no exceptions."

Darius scoffed. "You should know who I am already. I really shouldn't have to...." However, he took his own letter out of his pocket, flashing it at the teacher. Atryom showed her his as well. Seeing this, the teacher ignored Darius's jibes and nodded, then handed each of them their key. The dorm number was inscribed on the keys, and hung from a small, convenient chain. Once recieved, Darius and Atryom put them in their pockets and left the lobby.

They went straight to the auditorium. On the way, as they went along Atryom asked, "Darius, wouldn't you like to check out the dorms first?" Darius shook his head and replied, "Nah. We can keep my old man waiting; he'll get impatient like he always does, and then...well, you know. He gets....mildly displeased."

The auditorium was huge; it looked like it was designed to fit at least a thousand people inside. It had the charm of an classic movie theater, with red, velvet seats, a stage, and a red, velvet curtain on the stage. Darius and Atryom made their way down the rows to the stage, climbing up the little stairs on the side. They passed through the door to backstage.

"It's about time. Get over here, you two." The tall, mysterious man from earlier stood in the middle, backstage, and waited for the two boys to follow his orders. They did as they were told, and as soon as they were close enough, the man continued, "The assembly is going to start soon. Atryom, I want you to remain close by but out of sight. Darius, as the Student Council President, I would have you say a few words."

Darius carefully kept his face emotionless as he thought, Lame....

"Actually, you'll be calling up the other member's by their names. I trust you remember them?" The man continued. Darius nodded, and the man went on, "All right. By this time, the students should all have gotten their dorm keys and set up their dorms. I'm going to make the announcement."

To students and teachers alike, all over the school, they would hear the same announcement over what would appear to be an intercom:

"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."

~Thirty Minutes Later~

Behind the curtains of the stage, there were a few things set up, much like a normal school; a podium, some chairs on one side, and a black backdrop. The tall man stood at the podium, Darius sat in one chair, and there were two empty chairs beside him that remained empty. Atryom was at the side of the stage, in a part where he was very hard to spot, unless one was actually on the stage.

Then, finally, the assembly began. The lights turned down, much like it would in an actual movie theater. The curtain rose, revealing the podium, the chairs, the tall man, and Darius. The lights on the stage focused on the podium, illuminating the tall man. A long moment of silence ensued, as the man simply looked out towards the audience, surveying them. Then, slowly, he pulled back his hood to reveal his face.

"I am Tobias Grimlocke." He began, his voice booming as it commanded for attention, "And as the Leader of the Council, I personally welcome you all to my creation; Muralia Academy.

In this school, as you all know, Purebloods, Nobles, and Misfits will all be living here together. You will all learn together, fight together, and even eat and sleep together. I have allowed this for a purpose- to allow all of you, no matter what race you are, to become as strong as you can. All of you must learn the true meaning of strength.

Of course, in such a place like this, there will be some rules. You will abide by these rules, or suffer the consequences. The upholders of these rules are, of course, your teachers. It would serve you well to respect them, for they are far more powerful than you. Now, I know that all of you received a list of the rules in your acceptance letters, but since you are all likely dumbasses, I will list the rules once again. Listen well, maggots:

  • Duels are reserved for tournaments. This means that students should not be fighting each other, for the exception of Tournaments.
  • Weapons are prohibited. The only exceptions to this are authorized classes and Tournaments.
  • Teachers will not tolerate your bullshit. If you want to defy them, go ahead and try. However, they are not held responsible for any injuries occurred.
  • Students are prohibited from leaving the school grounds without permission from a teacher.

That is all, as far as the rules go, for now. They are subject to additions and/or changes, and you will be notified by a teacher or a Student Council member in the event of such." Tobias smiled, not showing any teeth. The look in his eyes was a strange one- half pride, half condescending. He leaned forward on the podium just a little bit, his facial expressions indicating that he had something in store....although one could only guess as to what it could possibly be.

"Now, let's finally get to the fun part, shall we?" Tobias started again, his voice once again booming so that all could hear, "It is time to hear a few words from the 'Council' of your school- the Student Council. Members of the Student Council have as much authority as a teacher, although they cannot perform any disciplinary actions.

And now, I present to you your Student Council President, Darius Grimlocke."

With this proclamation, Tobias stepped away from the podium just as Darius stood up. Darius took his father's place at the podium, Tobias standing off to the side, and surveryed the room. For a split moment, it looked just like the way his father had done.....then, simply, he called out,

"Student Council Vice President, Feena Malsahar, come up to the stage.

Student Council Secretary, Fenris Curavine, come up to the stage."

As the two, from the audience, went to the stage and took their seats, Darius continued, "I welcome all of you to our school, student and teacher alike." His voice was much, much softer than his father's, although it could still be heard clearly. By simply looking at Darius and hearing his voice, one would automatically assume that he was an incubus.

"After this assembly, dinner will be served in the cafeteria. If you don't know where that is, follow someone who does or get a map." Darius went on bluntly, "Student Council Members are to follow me to the Student Council room for a separate dinner and a brief meeting.

Details on Clubs, Tournaments, and other school functions will be provided on the first day of class, which will be tomorrow. Breakfast tomorrow, of course, will be held in the cafeteria. Direct any questions, comments, or concerns to either the Student Council or the teachers. Most of all...."

Determination glowing in his blood-red eyes, Darius pumped up a fist and yelled, "LET'S HAVE FUN, AND A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!" His voice wasn't so loud as to hurt anyone's ears, but instead flowed with fiery passion. After a moment, he put down his arm. Then, the same determined look in his eyes and a smirk on his face, he concluded calmly,

"Dismissed. That is all. Students, please make way to the cafeteria."

Darius turned away from the podium as the curtain fell, walking over to the other Student Council members. Looking them over, after a moment he said simply, "This way." Then, he walked off, Atryom joining him from the side as he and his father led the way to the Student Council room.

Beatrix Joediar

There were so many people in the halls when the teachers called out people to give them their keys to the dorms. Beatrix wasn't much of a people person but she got used to being in big crowds so being squished in the middle of all the students didn't really bother her> She knew that no one payed any sort of attention to her but she didn't care she just wanted to get her key.

Beatrix took out her acceptance letter but was being pushed around in every direction, she wasn't sure the woman teacher with the white hair had seen it properly until she called out, "Beatrix Joediar, stop moving!"
Beatrix finally got out of the crowd and he teacher was satisfied after having read the letter. Beatrix held out her hand where the teacher place a key with a tag written with the number "115". Before Beatrix was sucked back into the crowd she slipped away and made her way to the dorms. She looked around reading each number and walking quietly taking each step with ease so that no one would notice her presence.
"109, 110,. . ." She finally stopped in front of her room door, "115."

It was a pretty simple room but all Beatrix wanted to do was take rest, she had traveled by foot all the way to the school from Ashlar. She could have done it flying so it would have been faster but an owl couldn't carry a suitcase. That very suitcase was now on the bed with Beatrix completely pooped out. She felt like this was going to be a long year for her but maybe also a year where she could finally be a normal teenager, maybe for once in her life she could make friends that she wouldn't have to leave behind.
No. . . even if I'm in a school, I'll still have to leave people behind. . . Beatrix thought to herself. It's for the better. . .

"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."

The announcement woke Beatrix up fro; her little nap she had unwillingly fallen into and when she went into the halls there was no there. She ran through the halls and finally decided that if she couldn't see what was happening behind the walls she would never find the Auditorium. She shifted into an owl and concentrated only on being able to pass her head through the walls. Finally she found the Auditorium that was still filling up so she got into a corner and shifted back into human form then got into the crowd of students and seated herself.
She listened to the very odd speech of Tobias who was supposed to be a very respected man but he had no respect for others and suddenly she felt angry just listening to him. She balled up her fast to suppress the anger.
Beatrix, you can't do anything about it, you're a Misfit, he's Pureblood and it will always be that way, she tried calming herself or more like putting some reason back into herself.
Then the Student Council was called and the son of Tobias, Darius, was called onto the podium. Even his son was stuck up but at least he was a bit more respectful (just a little bit, barely recognizable). It was when he presented the Vice-president and the Secretary that Beatrix felt something. The boy with the white hair, Fenris Curavine, made Beatrix feel something. Her heart didn't race, actually it stopped. She felt something dangerous coming from him she glance at his chest to see if there was a clock ticking but there was nothing. Who was that boy and why did she make him feel sorry for him.
Maybe it's just because his face looks either sad or expressionless, Beatrix thought then she observed him a little more, Well, whoever he is or whatever he has, I have nothing to do with it. We have no connection what-so-ever.
The announcement finished when the curtains closed and everyone started flooding out of the Auditorium but Beatrix knew that if she stayed sitting and waited then she could get out with out getting pushed around so much, so that's what she did.

Derian wondered where he should go, in the middle of the crowd had separated from his guardian and was slightly worried that Flippy could start to look for love inside other people, that usually ended badly, but his concerns were dispersed when took a lemon sweet and put it in his mouth luckily he had many of those so for now there wouldn't be any problem, walked through the lobby to where teachers were handing the room's keys and then he felt it, the man who looked like a mountain had to be incredibly strong, his father told his to try to avoid conflicts with peers, but when Derian asked if the teachers were included in this order he just smiled.

"Show your acceptance letter" the mountain man asked, Derian took the from his pocket with his right hand and showed it, he really showed it, in a second his fist was moving toward the teacher's face at a high speed and with superhuman strength and the next second Derian was several feet away with his bag on the floor and feeling intense pain in his right arm, arm that was in possession of the mountain man.

"Derian Mors, everything seems in order. Room 107" casually put the key in the severed arm and then threw it back to the boy, now he know the meaning behind his father's smile, at his current level was no match for the teachers, picked up his bag and pulled out another candy which quickly led to his mouth, then took his maimed arm and put it in its place, unfortunately was torn, if it had been sliced, then its recovery would have been immediate but now it would take a few minutes.

He wandered aimlessly while his arm was recovering when he heard the announcement,
"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."

Had already located the auditorium so went and sat directly without worrying about what was around him, he sure looked bad with his shirt torn at the height of the right shoulder and blood but had no time to change, are things that happen.

The council leader's speech was pretty funny his favorite part was when he mentioned the rules, the boy couldn't help laughing when heard
"Teachers will not tolerate your bullshit. If you want to defy them, go ahead and try. However, They are not held responsible for any injuries occurred"
hell if he was right, his right arm still hurt, so he eat a third sweet and listened, the presentation of the student council bored him a bit but soon the assembly ended with the phrase

"Dismissed. That is all. Students, please make way to the cafeteria."

Derian stood up and began to follow a group, he was hungry also with some luck he would meet Derrick in the cafeteria and with more luck his guardian wouldn't have done something troublesome.

Drake Michael

Along the far side border of the land of Ashlar a small group of sparks and flames could be noticed through the cracks the buildings. Drawing closer the true reason is clear. As a large black flame dispersed quickly, Drake fell backwards onto his back rolling as he came to a stop, he laid his hand on the group and flipped over on to his feet as he straightened his right arm, his Sword gleaming in the light.

Another figure landed not far from Drake, He was a tall blonde man with a large build than drake and had bright silver claws over his hands. Suddenly another man leapt in a smaller skinnier boy with brown hair. As he landed in front of 'Blonde' he began firing from his golden pistol in his right arm, Drake Sped to his left, then zigzagged between the firing bullet only just missing them, until one cut the side of his left cheek he continued as the blood flew behind him. As he swung for the gun slinger, the man with the claws pushed Drake's blade downwards, allowing the gun slinger to Leap forwards over the blade, Drake swung his leg at the larger man as he let go of the sword, the man reacted quickly and grabbed Drake leg and spun him 360 before letting him go. Drake flew into the building behind him creating a large set of cracks in the wall.

As Drake got up the large man put his hand up to tell him to stop, "You'll be late for school" Drake surprised rushed back over to his bag and checked his watched, "Crap!" he shouted as he threw a smart looking shirt on and place his 'fake' glasses on and pushed his hair back, "tell everyone I'll see them during my free days if I can" He shouted back as he began running to the border, once he reached it he saw the school. "Wow" he thought out loud, he quickly continued into the school and into the lobby, where a large man and smaller woman greeted him, "Your here for your key?" the woman asked, "Then we need to see your acceptance letter" the man continued, "Sure" Drake said slightly out of character for him, he showed them the Letter and collected his key. He began making his way to the auditorium as his father had instructed earlier.

He heard an intercom announcement soon after arriving at the door of the auditorium, he quickly found a wall at the back and began leaning on it. While listening to the long speech, his father walked up beside him, Diablo Vincent, He was a tall fair skinned man with a large build and dark blue hair and grey eyes. He was wearing a Dark grey suit as instructed by Tobias Grimlocke, an old friend and superior. "You got here in time" he asked rhetorically in a light whisper, "Only because Tony can keep time" he replied slightly jokingly. After Darius had finished his part of the speech, all the students were sent to the cafeteria, he silently followed the crowd but then split off and made his way to his room '108' he thought as he walked into the room, he threw his bag on the bed closest to the window and stared out into the dark land.

Arawn wasn't one for crowded areas he preferred the wide open space of the wild. But that's what it was exactly like what it was in the hallways of the school, they were jam packed with people making there ways to get their keys, Arawn sighed because the worst part was that he always felt out of place in crowded areas for one being that he was taller then most people which always made him feel like he stood out and not in a good way. Arawn pushed his way forward with most of the crowed moving closer and closer to the teachers.

Arawn finally got to the front where the white haired teacher stood "Acceptance letter." Arawn patted down his clothes trying to remember where he had put it. He had a tendency to get lost and misplace things from time to time but his father stressed that at all cost he was not to lose that letter. "Acceptance letter." She asked again as Arawn looked through his pack until pulled it out from the bottom and showed it to her. She then handed him a key with the numbers 104 on, Arawn chucked the key inside his pack and started to look around to see if he could find his room.

Arawn looked around but had no luck finding his room when he heard a announcement over the intercom "Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all." Arawn hoped that he could make it there without getting lost until he saw some student hurrying along most likely going to the auditorium Arawn thought so he slowly made his way following them. He reached the auditorium and took a seat along one of the sides which was a good way to avoid the cluster of people in the center looking for seat next to anyone they knew.

"Well seems like school is going to be a blast." Arawn said sarcastically then people started walking up onto the stage and talking, Arawn kinda tuned out at that point. He leaned back in his chair watching younger people get on the stage, they talked about all the stuff like how all social status's can attend and how it not divide, Arawn didn't care about what rank people where in his eyes you are what your are and nothing is going to change that so what does it matter Arawn always thought to himself when people brought up the subject. Arawn eventually put his hands behind his head in a attempt to relax when he heard "Dismissed. That is all. Students, please make way to the cafeteria." Then people started to swarm out trying to go grab a bite which didn't sound half bad to him. Arawn watched as people pushed and shoved to get out of the auditorium, but like always Arawn hated crowds so he made his way over to the side wall and leaned against it trying to wait out the crowd of people.

People, people, and more people. This was mostly all that Tzar could see as he ventured in the school's lobby. So many people, it was awful! Getting pushed back and forth as he continuously attempt to get his dorm keys, it was hopeless. Tzar sighed, why couldn't people be a little more organized, if they were everyone could get there keys much quicker. Tzar decided that the best would simply be to take a seat and just wait for the crowd to disperse. The chair was rather comfortable mainly due to the fact that it was cushioned.

So, this is my new home? I wonder if they will miss me while I'm here. But it seemed that not even the chair was a safe place from the crowd. Tzar's thinking was quickly interrupted as a student bumped into him, knocking him off of the chair. "Sorry!" the student quickly ran along not really caring to help him back up. Once again he sighed How rude... Didn't even care to help me up. Quickly, Tzar grabbed his staff and used it to get up, he knew that the longer he stood there the likelier it would be for someone to bump into him again.

"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all." Tzar stopped for a moment as the strong masculine voice stopped speaking. Most of the loud and unorganized crowd immediately started to disperse. Finally Tzar almost smiled as he saw the mostly empty lobby, what a relief! Slowly, he walked up to the woman handing out the keys.

"Acceptance letter." Calmly, he opened his satchel pulling out a neatly folded letter. He opened it, showing it to the woman who in turn gave him a key with 111 written on the side. He grabbed the key and put it his pocket. "Thank you" said Tzar in barely audible voice, he wasn't even sure if she had heard him. He turned his back and quickly walked out of the lobby.

Now he had to find the auditorium. Which surprisingly was rather easy, since he didn't have to deal with crowds of people. The auditorium was a large room, filled with cushioned chairs and a large amount of people. Not long after he took a seat, a man walked to the podium and presented himself as Tobias Grimlocke. Grimlocke was renowned for his power and influence, but in Tzar's opinion he was responsible for a lot of hatred, just as the other council members were. Grimlocke gave a small speech and talked about the rules, he then presented his son, leader of the student council. Like father, like son. Darius Grimlocke in turn presented the other members of the student council and welcomed them to Muralia Academy.

"Dismissed. That is all. Students, please make way to the cafeteria." Tzar got up from the seat and stretched a bit, the speech wasn't very long but still rather tiring. Tzar followed the large group of people to the cafeteria but made sure to stay out of the crowd. As Tzar walked he took out a random book from his satchel. The book had brown leather cover, it looked old and had nothing written on the cover. No author, no title, nothing just blank. After a small walk (In which he kept reading) he had reached the cafeteria. The cafeteria looked rather delightful, it was so clean and organized. People started taking seats next to each other, the tables were crowding, and the place was filling with conversation.

Damien Rivera

Damien sat in the corner of the room, a small, slightly creepy smile on his face as he watched the extreme amounts of people. He watched as people barged past others, and he laughed slightly when some fell. It was rather amusing to see everyone falling over. He playfully threw his dorm keys up into the air, and grabbed them as they came down. He had to admit, being early had its perks. Sirius and Kyouki probably wouldn't agree.

He smiled slightly more when he saw Sirius barrel into Kyouki and the two went flying, landing in a heap at his feet. He spoke, his voice soft and gentle, but with a firm tone. "Get your act together, you two. Wouldn't want anyone thinking bad of us, would we?" He muttered, adjusting his scarf so it covered his mouth. He walked past everyone, and sat down on the floor, hugging his knees in the shadow.

Sirius and Kyouki

"Hey! Stop it, Zombie-Head!"

"Shut it, Fanged Freak!"

The two shouted, practically throttling each other. They were like cat and dog, never to really get along. There was a reason Damien never invited them to come to places with him.

Sirius attempted to Fly-kick Kyouki, and she did the same to Sirius. Damien slapped both of them. "Stop it." He hissed.

The Trio

The three, after checking they all got their dorm keys, shuffled to the auditorium once summoned, and Damien smiled at Tobias. As far as he could tell, Tobias and Lucius got along pretty well. That is, when Lucius wasn't being an idiot. Damien chuckled to himself. He was pretty sure that was right.

Sirius latched onto Damien when they were given the rules. Under his breath, Sirius whispered to Damien. "Dude.. Do we need to drag the Zombie around?"

Damien turned, his eyes like cold steel. "Kyouki is nice. And so are we, Sirius. So. Are. We.."

Sirius shuddered. Damien was a creepy mofo, but he liked him. After all, he was his guardian.

Kyouki creepily stared at Darius. Not in any other way. He scared her. Only a little though. She gently rubbed her Scythe's blade, smiling as she did so. She awoke from her trance when she heard Sirius exclaim at the fact he wasn't roomed with Damien. "What?! I'm not with you? Aw.. I wonder who I'm with, then. Kyouki, what's your key number?"

"Hm? Oh.. 108." She muttered, Sirius fist pumping because he wasn't roomed with her. "What're you two?"

Damien looked up and smiled. "107. We're next to eachother. "

"Awh! That's not fair, Damien! You two get to room near eachother! I'm further.. Uh.. 105. Two dorms away."

Damien face-palmed a little, and dragged the two into the cafeteria with the others. He sat in the corner where there was least sunlight. Sirius and Kyouki moved over to the more center tables. Damien took off his scarf, and replaced the cover on his face with a mask, and the scarf morphed into a book. Namely, the Rivera family tree. He read through it, while the others decided to chat idly. Kyouki remembered one of the rules, and made her scythe fade away.

So this is home now? I have to admit, it's nice. I'm guessing head of comfy-chairs-and-beds-and-such was Dad. Heheh. I'll have to find out later. I hope nobody is intimidated by the fact that I'm a pureblood, though. It'd get messy if they did. Mainly because I have a bad temper when it comes to dealing with idiots. Kyouki, Sirius? Ugh. To be honest, I know everything about Sirius, but nothing of Kyouki. She carries around that weird Scythe like it's a pet, though. Calls it uh.. Sezu, I think... Ah, well. This school will be fun. He thought, relaxing into his small corner. He was sitting on the clean floor, hugging his knees as always, reading the book idly. It was more or less just looking at his dad as a child. He had little similarities, as he took after his mother.

He stretched, and his book returned to its scarf state. The hands sorted his mask, and he sat, watching the room.

Mikala Dutch

Mikala made her way towards Muralia Academy. She was munching on a large piece of chocolate while at the same time narrowly avoiding students. Her eyes flicked back and forth, as she gazed at the people and things around her. Everything she saw seemed to strike her as interesting in some form. She would always get distracted by something else after she had focused on something. As Mikala walked into the lobby, she noticed a woman asking for acceptance letters. Mikala stuffed the remaining bits of food in her mouth and then began to search for her letter in her bag. It took her a few minutes to find it (she had forgotten where she had put it) then she handed it to the woman. She viewed it over and Mikala watched as she handed her, her key. “Thank you!” She chirped happily before brushing past her.

Mikala glanced at the number on her key. “106” she said slowly then stopped glancing around her. Mikala began to search for her room and after a few minutes she found it just when an announcement was made. "Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all Mikala’s eyes lit up at the mention of an assembly. “Yay!” she said clapping her hands together. She stuffed her key inside her bag and quickly went off. The auditorium was full of a bunch of people. Mikala had a harder time getting through the crowd this time. As she did so though he mind drifted off as she found herself thinking what it would be like to bite some of them. She tried to picture their reactions and giggled into her palm as she did so. Mikala took a seat and searched her bag for more chocolate as she listened to the announcements.

As soon as it was over, Mikala stood and stretched yawning. They were supposed to head to the cafeteria now but Mikala still hadn’t visited her room. She filed out of the auditorium and quickly headed there. After unlocking the door, she tossed her bag onto the floor. “Oh, I hope I don’t have any more chocolate. It would be a shame if it melted” she said and quickly searched her bag, relived to find she had ate the rest. After that, Mikala quickly shut the door and made her way after the students. She wanted nothing more but to meet new people.

For probably about the second time in his life, Kiran was jealous of his sister. Not in the "Oh my lord you bitch I'll murder you and no one will find the body" way, but more like the "Huh. I vaguely wish I was more like you at this moment" kind of jealousy. He discarded the thought as he looked up at her again as they walked, determined to stay close, what with the mob of students and all. She was smiling. While that was nothing out of the ordinary for Karne, Kiran was dismayed that he himself was not in such a mood. It was hard to be, in such a large crowd. For him, anyways.

There was one small condolence in the crowd, though. Being relatively... short meant he would be less likely to stick out, something he hated much more than crowds. Of course, a much better way to blend in would've been to put up his hood so as to hide his plaitnum hair... something his sister expressly forbade him to do. Among other things...

"Kiran!" she'd exclaimed upon first seeing him that morning. "What in the HELL are you wearing? You can't go out like that! What are you going for? 'Depressed Antisocial Teenage Reject'? Go upstairs RIGHT NOW and put on something with color! At least change the sweatshirt? Wear the red one! Pleeeeeeeeease? Please Kiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaa?" In the end, it's not as if he had a choice. One did not simply refuse his sister. The fact that she fretted so much about his appearance most likely meant that she had every intention of keeping him as close as possible. She might have been a young woman, but Karne was a child on the inside, no doubt about it.

She smacked his hand adamantly for at least the fifth time that morning as he tried once again, mainly on instinct, to pull up his hood. Kiran sighed and slipped his hands back into his pockets. He had a book cradled between his elbow and his side, although he wasn’t entirely sure which one it was. He’d just simply grabbed one earlier in case the need arose to entertain himself. Kiran sighed. He doubted he’d get the chance today.

Karne strode slightly in front of her brother, face alight with anticipation and glee, only the depths of her eyes betraying a miniscule hint of apprehension. That was silly, she decided, to be afraid, even a little. She had two very special people with her. One, of course, was Kiran. Despite the fact that he was being the exact opposite of encouraging and exciting, he was still somewhat of a comfort. She’d rather have him there than walk alone. Her second comforting companion was in her satchel at her side. Karne tried to walk as steadily as possible so as not to rouse her friend from her probably already substantially disturbed slumber.

Kiran had his letter out moments before they finally made it to the front. Karne, however, was not so prepared. After a few frantic moments of searching her person and finally finding it in the depths of her satchel, she handed it almost proudly to the lady, who took both their letters before handing them their respective keys.

"Room 111," said Karne as they weaved their way out of the lobby. "How 'bout you?"

"106," Kiran murmured. Wait for it-

"Awwwwww," his elder sister whined. "That's too far awaaaaaaay!" Kiran his a smile. His sister, the big baby. He tried not to think of how her antics could possibly draw attention to them. Instead, he followed Karne silently as she flounced on, brows furrowed in indignant silence.

As they neared the dorms, a strong, authoritative voice sounded over the intercom. "Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."

Kiran and Karne had stopped to listen to the announcement. Afterwords, Kiran blinked a few times. How decent... he thought as he began walking again, his sister giggling briefly before trotting after. Shortly after, they separated momentarily to set their stuff in their rooms before heading directly to the auditorium.

Kiran made quick work of unlocking the door and stepping briskly inside. He paused momentarily only to casually throw his duffel bag on the bed furthest from any window. He had a thing with windows. He kept with him only the book as he exited, closing the door again and waiting outside for his sister.

Karne was having a little more difficulty with the task. Namely, the door wouldn't open. She wrestled with the knob a bit until she remembered the thing in the pocket of her sweater. Key... Duh! laughing softly, she unlocked the door and stepped inside. Humming softly, she gently set her satchel down onto one bed, and opened it. "Nani?" she whispered. A kitten's furry white head raised and two large eyes fixed themselves on the young demoness. "I have to go, but just lay low here until I come back, okay? I'm not sure how long I'll be gone, but just don't make a mess, 'kay?" At a purr of affirmation, Karne smiled and let the flap of the satchel fall again.

She skipped back out of the room, closing the door after herself. "Alright," she sighed, rejoining her brother. "Let's go!" Together, the pair eventually found their way to the auditorium, and by the looks of things, they weren't late. They sat together, near the middle of a particular row. Kiran's fingertips tapped a silent rhythm on the cover of his book. He kept his eyes on the book as the Big Man In Charge, Tobias Grimlocke, started speaking.

For the most part, Kiran's attention was very lapsed. He figured he had a general idea of what was being said. Anything he happened to miss couldn't have been too important. He had to admit, the curt sharpness of the announcements impressed him. Mainly, though, he spaced out, staring at the book on his lap.

However, one sentence and one sentence alone pierced his wall of inattentiveness:

And now, I present to you your Student Council President, Darius Grimlocke."

Kiran raised his head sharply and blinked a couple times, just to see if it was true. Once he saw the smug, leering face, Kiran his stomach fall a thousand feet. The feeling was promptly replaced by a searing anger. MOTHERFUCKER! A small, rational part of him had reasoned earlier that chances were, he'd see that dreaded face at the school. Another hopeful, illogical part of him clung to the small chance that it just wouldn't happen... That was exactly the part that was cursing a blue streak in his mind just then. Luckily, if his agitation showed, his sister was oblivious.

"LET'S HAVE FUN, AND A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!" Darius declared with all the audacity that Kiran expected. He scowled, contempt-filled gaze stabbing at Darius's familiar face. The assembly was soon dismissed, and as people rose up around him, Kiran stayed still for a second more before standing up as well, tucking his book under his arm. He followed his sister wordlessly into the hallway, thoughts wrapped up in a few previous encounters with Darius. He thought of one in particular. Then, his shoulders shook with silent laughter. What a funny encounter it had been. He'd not realized it until just then, but it was all the more hysterical. The inner depths of his mind were rife with a slightly mischievous glee as Kiran wondered vaguely what others would say if they knew what he did...

He stopped laughing in time to see his sister had stopped in front of him. Karne took his arm and took him over to the side of the hallway, where she stood with her hands firm on his shoulders and looking him deep in the eyes.

Karne frowned slightly and worry flitted across her normally cheery features. Her brother's sudden odd behavior had roused a small suspicion within her, and upon scrutinizing his face she found it was correct. She leaned back and smiled a small, tight smile, taking her hands off her brother's shoulder. She lifted a finger and tapped her left cheek, just below the eye. "A little red, Kia," she murmured, and her brother paled, instantly pulling up his hood for at least a bit of concealment, and she let him. "What's bothering you?"

"No..." he mumbled, not in answer to her question, but more of a dismissal of her curiosity. He looked down, and Karne mentally sighed. That was pretty much the only hope of an answer she could expect from him. Oh well. She took his arm and tugged it slightly. "Okay then," she said, resigned. "Let's just get going then."

Upon entering the cafeteria, the pair decided that they weren't very hungry, and decided to sit across from one another near one corner. Kiran had his book in his lap and thought of another time he was in a cafeteria, where a certain incident with a certain someone had occurred. He shoved the thought from his mind. He'd just regained control. No point in throwing that away again.

Feena woke up and looked outside the car window. She saw tall buildings, cars, and other people going about her busy lives and it was then that she realized that she wasn't in the country side of Ashlar with her mother's tribe anymore. She yawned and then looked at her father, who was driving, and smiled.

"How far away are we dad?" She asked quietly, feeling that the back of her throat was dry and she needed to drink something.

"We should be there really soon sweetheart. There's food and drinks in the back seat if need anything. And Feena." He said, taking a second to pause for her to answer.

"Yes?" she replied quickly.

"Please eat before we get there. I don't want something to happen alright?" He said, looking at her when he tells her this, the sound of worry in his voice.

"Yes father." She whispered in reply. She hated to eat. Not because of what she need to eat, but because of the meaning of it in her life.

She looked into the back seat and saw that there was a white styrofoam box, a bottle of lemonade, a baggie of dried fruit, and a small package filled with a red colored substance. She winced when she saw the small, red item and reached to grab for the other three. When she was sitting properly in her chair again she opened the styrofoam box and saw that her mother had made her her favorite dish, Mild beef curry with extra rice. She grabbed the chopsticks that were also in the box and began eating, putting soy sauce on her extra balls of rice. When she was done with all her food she turned to her father before putting the empty items in the back of the car.

"It's to bad that mom couldn't come." She said sadly, wish her mother could also be there to drop her off.

"And I know she wanted to very bad, but with your grandfather's health the way it, it was best for her to stay home." He replied, giving her a weak smile.

"I know, but I'm just saying that it's to bad that she couldn't is all." Feena replied, turning around and placing the items in the back seat. Then she stopped and stared at the red package for awhile, not wanting to touch it. But slowly she hesitated to pick up the small item. She drank it there, not wanting her father to see her drink it, knowing that the smell was proof enough for him that she ate.

After wiping away whatever collected around her mouth she turned around and sat properly again. She watched the cars pass by to kill the time, wishing that she could be there sooner. Soon enough though the school came into sight and she smiled. They pulled up to the front of the school and Feena grabbed her letters out of the glove box and turned to her father. They hugged tightly for awhile and then slowly let each other go.

"Make sure to stay in contact with us ok?" Her father said, smiling at her.

"Will do, dont worry so much about me alright?" She said in reply.

"I'll try not, I can't speak for your mother, but knowing her she worry all the time about you." He said, giving a small chuckle.

Feena giggled, and then they shared one last quick hug, and Feena slowly opened the door and closed it, but not before saying "I'll see you during winter break dad."

"See you then hunny." He replied, and with that Feena shut the door and waved goodbye to him as he drove off.

After waiting til he was out of sight, she took a deep breath and then looked down at the map that they sent with her in her acceptance letter. "Alright it looks like I'm hear, and the main office is.......here. So that way I must go." She said out loud and with that she walked over to the main office to pick up her keys.

When she got there she saw a lady sitting at the front desk, typing away at a computer. Feena walked up to her placing her acceptance letter and Student Council acceptance letter on the counter in front of her.

"Hello, I'm here to pick up my keys." Feena said cheerfully, and smiled at the woman.

The lady smiled back at her, took her papers, looked at them for a minute, nodded, grabbed the keys, and then placed them on top of their corresponding papers on top of the counter. "There you are Ms. Malsahar, your dorm key and a key to the Student Council room. I'm sure you can find your room just fine with your map. And with that I welcome you to Muralia Academy." The woman told her happily.

Feena smiled and thanked her, grabbed her keys and went on her way. She took the stairs, not wanting to deal with the elevator, and found her room almost right away, seeing as how it was the first room in the hallway. She smiled, opened her room, and walked in. She saw that her boxes had made it here safely and decided that it was best to move them out from the middle of the room and to the side of the room she wanted. She moved her boxes to the desk and bed that was farthest from the window, not wanting to wake up with headaches.

She slowly started to unpack starting with her own mini fringe that she put to the right of her desk, and filled with her "food". Next she chose to work on putting her clothes and make-up away. She picked the closest closes to the sink and hung up the clothes that need to be hung in the white dresser and placed her accessories in the drawer inside of the large cabinet doors and then her normal clothes in the drawers below the hanging area. Then she placed her clothes hamper and shower stuff and a couple of hangers in the pegs inside of the black cabinet to the left of the big white one. Then she placed her shoes in the cubbie holes to the right of the white closest. Then she placed her make-up, facial washes, and meds on the inside of the small medicine cabinet next to the mirror, and jewelry on the shelves around it. Then she placed her soap next to the left sink. Then her tooth brush, hair brush, straightener, curler, and hair blow dryer on the top shelf, and then things she didn't want exposed under the sink on the left side.

Just before she was going to unpack her desk she heard "Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all." over the intercom. "Well, if that wasn't rude...I guess I'm going to have to finish this when I get back." she said, and then looked at the rest of her boxes. She thought for a second and then nodded.

She moved the boxes that were for her desk, on top of her desk, and in front of the bookshelf; and the boxes that were for her bed on top of her bed. Then she got into one of her desk boxes, pulled out a piece of paper and a pencil, wrote a not and then placed it on her roommate's desk across the room from her's.

The note said: "Hello, my name is Feena Malsahar and I'll be your roommate for the year. I'm really excited to get meet and know you this year, and I hope that we will get along just fine. I have left early to go to the assembly and just wanted to leave this note for your letting you know this, and to tell you that I already have most of my stuff unpacked already. I have a meeting after the assembly and I look forward to meeting you then. However, if my meeting runs late please don't feel the need to stay up for me, I'd rather you get a good nights sleep and be well rested for tomorrow's classes for we will end up meeting each other in the morning anyways."

After placing the note on the desk, she grabbed her room key, placing the other one in her desk drawer, she walked out of the room and into the Auditorium.

She took a seat near the front and waited for the assembly to start, hearing people starting to fill in the seats around her. After about ten minutes a guy in a hood, took off his hood, and then welcomed us all. After about 10 minutes he welcomed Darius Grimlocke to the stage. When she saw him she was stunned by his looks and was in awe of his energy. His messy black hair, that she could tell he tried to make look nice, and his red eyes mesmerized her, and she wasn't sure what it was about him, but she wanted to get to know him more. She was in such awe of him she almost missed her named being called to go on stage, but she still acted gracefully when walking up there although freaking out on the inside. She took her seat, and sat up straight, smiling, next to a boy with white hair.

After everyone was dismissed she saw that Darius turned to them and stated "This way" and started to walk off. She stood quickly and followed after him, not wanting to get lost to where she needed to go to have dinner and her meeting. Feena could feel her heart racing, and it made her feel weird...and she didn't like it and liked it all at the same time. 'Calm down Fee, if you don't calm down something bad might happen I and don't want to happen before school even starts.' She thought to herself.

Roan'n yawned lazily as he was gently pulled to a sitting position by many hands. He smiled as the tugging slowly brought him to awaken. He patted his hand on the bed to find his glasses but, they were unusually absent from his side. A voice broke the morning noise that had consisted only of the low stream of music filling the hallway and the chirping of birds from outside. "M'lord..... here...." He recgonized the voice of one of his maids. His glasses were gently placed into the palm of his hand. "Thank you L'Lia." He slowly moved his legs off the right side of his bed. He put on his glasses and opened his eyes. He could see 3 of his maids standing in front of him but, he could tell more were in the room.

He lifted his arms as they started his daily routine. They would grab clothing and in a flurry of removal though phasing and wearing through phasing, he would go from pajamas to casual dress in a matter of seconds. However, unlike everyday, he could tell that a new girl was among his group of maids. When she stepped forward to have him put on his shirt, she instead found herself in his arms. The shirt made only the briefest hint of a barrier between them as Roan'n phased passed it. Another maid caught the shirt before it hit the ground. They stared silently waiting for him to motion for them to resume. Roan'n looked into the girl's eyes and saw that she wasn't as surprised as he figured she would.

Roan'n brought his face forward, feeling the girl in his arms tense up as he did so. His face was beside hers, his lips upon her ear. "Your name?" He breathed almost silently into her ear. She tensed once again before stuttering out her name. "M...M..Ma'Illes.....M'lord...." He smiled as he felt he heart beat quicken. With one hand he spun her about bringing her a arms length away from him. He spoke while smiling. "Ma'Illes... I take it today is your first day of work with my family.... I take it that you had been told about me however, they seemed to have failed to convey something...." Her eyes widened. She spoke with her voice shaking. "M'Lord... I....." He swiftly cut her off. "I do not appreciate being clothed by people who I do not know...." One of the other maids brought his shirt up to him which he phased into. "Your punishment..."

Her eyes went wide with fear as he spoke and for a second he felt guilty for playing such a cruel trick on her but, that sensation was quickly shadowed by the delight of having so much fun. "...Is to go with me on my way to the school. You see, it is a long ride and I feel it would help us get better aquainted so that this would not happen again. The car will be round in 30 minutes. Please be in casual attire and ready to go." Her surprised face made his day she quickly stuttered out a "yes m'lord" before taking off. He opened up one balled fist to reveal her undergarments, taken when he had spun her around. The eldest maid laughed before speaking. "Shall I add it to the others m'lord?" He smiled and spoke to her, tossing them to her. "Yes L'Lia. Please do." He smiled as he walked out of his room. He just knew it would be a good start to the day.

Roan'n stood up out of the car, taking only a moment to wipe the only evidence of the car ride to the academy, a small smudge of lipstick, off of the side of his neck before addressing the driver. " Has my luggage been taken already?" Roan'n asked. The driver got out of the car and opened the trunk to show Roan'n his stuff. The driver then looked at Roan'n. "Your father told me to convey a message to you M'Lord." Roan'n raised his eyebrow at the elderly magician whom had driven cars for his factory for as long as Roan'n could remember. The elderly driver spoke with a twinge of laughter in his voice. "He said.. Carry your own damn luggage." As he dropped the bags right in front of Roan'n's feet. Roan'n sighed as he had expected his father would do something like this. Roan'n gathered up his luggage and made his way into the academy. He wasn't late but, he wasn't very early either. Most of the crowds had dispersed and only a few were getting keys. Roan'n showed his paperwork without a word and got his key.

He moved away before they told him who or what he would be rooming with. He felt it would better to be surprised rather than know right off the bat. He made his way to the dorms.A announcement saying that all students were to be in the auditoriam in 30 minutes went off but, he ignored it for the time being. Eventually he found hs room at the end of the hall. He usually just phased everywhere in his mansion at home but, he simply didn't know the school layout to know where it was more direct to phase around the campus. He also figured it would be good to not give away his powers just yet so, h just casually walked instead of phasing his way to his room. He unlocked the door but, took note that he hadn't been the first one there. He saw a suitcase on the other bed in the room. He didn't have time to investigate and instead put his bags on his bed and left.

Roan'n made it with 5 minutes to spare and took a seat in the back. He knew that when it was time to go, being in the back gave him the quickest route out so he wouldn't have to be smushed in with everyone else. He half listened to the speech not really caring about what the man had to say. The only part that caught his attention was something that had been said but, he had taken it in a different way. It made him laugh a bit but, he kept it quiet so that he wouldn't be singled out. " You will all learn together, fight together, and even eat and sleep together" Roan'n snickered again as it came to mind. Under his breath he told himself, "We sure will....." He smiled at that thought an was quite happy to hear the man and his son both finally shut the hell up. When it was finished, Roan'n was one of the first out door, eager to get out of the way of the crowd. He didn't immediately head torwards the cafeteria but, instead hanged back waiting for the amount of people to lessen before he too inevitably went into the lingering few and headed on his way to the cafeteria.

Derrick Blackthorne

"Oi, move the fuck outta my way! Hey! Whatchoo lookin' at? Oh, I'm sorry...." Derrick tried to move through the crowd, annoyed at the fact that he had already lost his Pureblood charge. He spouted different comments as he bumped into people and as they bumped into him, until finally he came to the place where teachers where handing out dorm keys.

Without hesitation, he walked up to the white-haired woman and threw his acceptance letter without a word. Also saying nothing, the white-haired teacher took out his dorm key as soon as she finished reading the name on the letter. Derrick smiled. With a casual flick, a small needle of blood flew out of Derrick's forefinger, headed straight for the teacher's forehead. However, to Derrick's surprise, the teacher caught it easily. She was so fast that her hand had been nothing but a blur for a split second. Then, she crushed it in her fingers, the blood turning back into a liquid and staining her hand. With the same hand, she tossed the now blood-tainted key to him. Derrick caught it, a scowl of annoyance on his face.

I had been looking forward to seeing what a teacher's brain looked like, too.....

With a huff, Derrick turned away and left. I wonder where Master went? I feel kind of lonely without him.... Derrick could feel himself getting excited. What kind of adventures awaited him at this school? Would he get to see what kind of organs demons have? Would Master let him at least check one person for love?

Suddenly, Derrick started to get agitated, very agitated. He needed to find Master soon. As he roamed the hallways, not really aware of where he was going, he scratched his arms. He was wearing what he always wore- green military clothing, with black combat boots and black, fingerless gloves. He had a military-style duffelbag slung over his shoulder. For some reason, if he wasn't wearing military-style things then he tended to become unstable much more quickly than normal.

"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."

Out of sheer impulse, Derrick stood straight as a rod and saluted immediately after hearing the announcement. Then, he went on his way, wandering around the school until he finally found the auditorium. He didn't get there until the assembly was already almost over, missing most if not all of what was said. It didn't matter. Derrick probably wouldn't have listened anyway. Besides, everything he needed to know was already in his acceptance letter. Luckily, Derrick had been meticulous enough to actually read the contents of the letter before stuffing it away.

Just as the assembly was dismissed, a group walking out of the doors of the auditorium caught his eye. Or rather, a bloodied right shoulder of a shirt did. Derrick knew who it was immediately, and began tailing the group. He followed them straight to the cafeteria, where he singled out the one person who mattered to him most- Derian Mors.

Having finally found him, Derrick broke out into a huge smile. Then, he ran up to him, jumping on his charge's back.

"MASTER~! I found you, FINALLY." Derrick laughed, his voice sounding almost crazed with joy.

"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."

Siegfried didn't want to believe his ears when he first heard the announcement, but apparently it wasn't any kind of stupid joke by a student who got somewhere they didn't belong. That was the official first greeting the amazing, in some sense of the word, founder of Muralia Academy gave to all the people who came at the start of the school year. He recognized the voice with little difficulty, after all, he wasn't oblivious to the world around him, especially things that concerned him in some way, and he had seen the man on television when he watched the news from time to time. In any case, his first impression of this place just took a dive, and it didn't seem like it was going to rise much anymore.

Sieg sighed to himself as he went to grab the keys to his dorm room. He went through the motions of presenting the acceptance letter mechanically, his mind elsewhere. The tabloids on this place were all about how awesome it was and what a genius Mr. Grimlocke was for having thought of such an idea, of something completely unprecedented. The latter part was hardly surprising, since half of all the media was about sucking up to one council member or another, with the demon leading by a large margin in the kissing of ass received. And yet part of the young magician still hoped that some things about the academy he heard and read were true. What little hope remained was erased at its root after he got to the large hall and mister founder has spoken. The promises of equality, world peace, good will of men and what not were quite unrealistic to begin with, but it didn't appear as though whoever was in charge intended to even try living up to said promises.

Siegfried didn't pay that much attention to whatever Tobias was saying; even before the whole thing started, he could predict what would be said. Not word for word, of course, but the general meaning of it. Once again, it was all about power. The students were nothing while the teachers had full authority, apparently permitted unrestrained use of their abilities when "necessary", which would be whenever they felt like it. The mandatory tournaments were a separate story. For a moment he wondered why instead of an "academy" they didn't just make a coliseum, with the students as gladiators. That would be pretty much the same thing as far as he was concerned, except presented as what it is rather than glorified into something it was not.

And of course, the student council president was none other than the beloved leader's own son. That was more predictable than the effects of gravity on a body that had no other forces applied to it. Still, Darius turned out to be ever so slightly more interesting than his father. It wasn't about what he said, but rather how he held himself. With a brief glimpse and some pondering about how life must have been for the child of the self-proclaimed greatest person in the world, Sieg decided the young demon wasn't all bad. There was little doubt he inherited some of his father's arrogance, but perhaps the pressure had reflected posivitely on him. His loud exclamation was clearly an attempt to set himself apart from the glood and doom that was Tobias Grimlocke and also to lighten the mood, something Sieg could appreciate.

After the assembly ended, he decided to head to the cafeteria where everyone would be gathering. He was not particularly hungry, so he was in no rush to get there, waiting until the first wave of people passed so he wouldn't have to walk in a dense crowd. There were few things he liked less than large gatherings.

Yuki smiled as she walked up to the school. It was everything she hoped it would be. Moving some of her bangs out of her eyes, she walked in. She looked around and admired the school.
"Woah...." Yuki muttered as she saw all the students. After the brief pause, she quickly got herself walking again up to where some people looked like they were pausing. She soon found herself face to face with a lady she didn't know.

"Acceptance latter?" She asked as I quickly looked around in my pockets.

"Oh! Hang on. I have that around here somewhere." She said right before she came across her letter.
"Here you go." Yuki said happily as she handed her the letter. She soon found a key in her hand with a number attached to it.
"109..." She muttered quietly while looking at the key until she noticed she was holding up the line. She started walking to her room until she remembered she forgot her manners.
"Thank you by the way!" She yelled back and then ran the rest of the way to her room. She was extremely excited to start the year and couldn't wait to meet her other roomy.
Yuki found herself slowly walking down in the hallway before too long, examining every number, wondering who was behind them and if they would be nice to her. She soon pushed the idea out of her head as her eyes caught her number. Smiling again, she unlocked the door and walked in. She only had a short amount of time to dump off her stuff until she heard a big announcement.

"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."

Yuki quickly walked out of the room and speed walked to the auditorium. She absolutely loved assemblies. She quickly got a good spot before it all started. She hung on every word but her jaw dropped at the talk of tournaments. She completely forgot about those and shivered slightly. How could she have forgotten? She never liked fighting anyway. She gave a slight sigh as she quickly got over it and started listening intently again.

"LET'S HAVE FUN, AND A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!"

Yuki smiled and nodded slightly as she noticed people already heading for the cafeteria. With a slight shrug, she headed off with the crowd to their next destination.

Derian walked among the crowd was a show of shapes and scents, many of those present were unable to hide their inhuman nature, whereas others would go through the most human of humans, it amused him greatly, yeah, would amuse him as long as he has an endowment of sweet, at the moment he run out probably start finding this whole situation annoying and the homicidal impulses could return, well that would also be fun in a way, at least until someone come to smash him.

As the saying goes, time heals all wounds, now that his arm was healed had started planning his second round against the mountain man, the epiphany he had before was more than forgotten and his mind was filled with a desire to meet the teacher again and he wasn't thinking about give him an apple, he took a sweet from his bag and ate it and almost immediately dissipated that desire while continued leisurely to the cafeteria.

As a being who boasts the best regenerative capacity Derian doesn't put much attention to defense and certainly not care about his back so it's pretty easy to catch off guard, when you are a talking corpse these things don't matter much so He was surprised when his guardian cheerfully jumped on his back.

"MASTER~! I found you, FINALLY."

He moved until was able to shake Derrick off, the flawless clothes that Derian saw with pleasure told him that Derrick hadn't done something unfortunate, the incidents where his guardian was involved usually made normal people return the contents of their stomach, but hey, everyone had one or two failures , Flippy also have a great personality that compensates his tendency to open things (people) to see how things are.

"Oh Derrick, you had me worried," it was the truth, between the time since they separated and the teacher ripped him an arm was quite concerned "You missed my hands shake with a teacher" a smile crossed his face and grabbed his right shoulder "By the way I have room 107" showed a key with some bloodstains "And you?", took another sweet and ate, at this pace they wouldn't last long, strong emotions aren't the best friend of a insane psychopath rehabilitated , sweets are friends, sweets are good, the sweets are righteousness.

Beatrix Joediar

The Auditorium had emptied out a bit which meant that Beatrix was free to go. The double doors had less people bustling through them but there was one boy that intrigued her. He was very tall with white hair and red eyes which wasn't a very common sight. He was leaning against the entrance waiting for the people to flow out and Beatrix could take her eyes off of him until she had to turn her eyes away or else she would snap her neck.
Strange guy, Beatrix thought to herself as she made her way toward the cafeteria but when she saw the people pushing just to get some food she decided to leave and go to her dorm room.

Once again she passed in front of the white haired boy and stared at him before losing sight of his towering figure and crimson eyes. She made her way down the halls but her stomach growled telling her that she should go back for the food and her mind was telling her, "Did you see all of those people! No way, don't go back!"
Beatrix didn't usually listen to er stomach because whenever she did bad things happened, so she kept on walking toward her room with a hand over her stomach the growled surprisingly loud.

"Good to see that I'm not late, would've been a shame to have been late on my first day.” Apsalar said as she grabbed her messenger bag and slipped through the stolen car's door. She stood there for a moment to watch the other students enter the academy. Most of the other students seemed to have walked here while others drove here like she did. “It's a day like this that makes me happy to be a ghost considering I won't have to deal with the crowded hallways.” She said as she started skipping along, phasing through anyone she would've collided with. While going through the hallways, she passively took a couple of wallets, a pocket watch, and even a lemon flavored candy. “Yuk, lemon.” Apsalar commented as she made her way to a frowning tower of a man.

“Acceptance letter.” He said with a gruff voice. She immediately stuck out her hand to the large man. The man looked at her for a second and engulfed her hand with his for a handshake, only to find her acceptance letter in his hand afterward. “Nice to meet you my name is Apsalar. You are a really big man, but just because you're big doesn't mean you can't smile. Your smiling muscles don't seem as strong as the rest of your muscles, you should work on that.” She chatted while said man read the letter. Hearing that made the man give a small smile. “I'll work on that. Welcome to Muralia Academy Ms. Kavandel, you'll be staying in room 112. Here is you're . . .” He said while reaching for the her room key. “Thanks. Don't forget to smile more often.” She said while walking away with her room key twirling from her index finger. The man gave her a broad smile as he saw her walk away and steal another person's wallet.

“112? 112? Where are you room 112?” Apsalar pondered as she looked at her map of the school. “Ah ha! I found you!” She exclaimed as she found her room and went inside. “Looks like all my things got here safely, doesn't look like my roommate has been here yet. Since I get first choice of beds, I think I'll take the one closest to the windows so I won't get a lot of sun in my face in the morning.” She started to wander the halls a little after she had managed to move all of her boxes onto her bed.

“Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all.”

“Rude.” Apsalar said while phasing through walls and people alike as she made her way towards the auditorium. “Glad I have my handy-dandy map, being lost isn't much fun.” She said as she walked into the auditorium and sat in a seat near the back. From there she could easily hear both Tobias and Darius Grimlocke's speeches. The most exciting part for her was the end of Darius' speech.

“LET'S HAVE FUN, AND A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!”

After that being said she pointed out both of her arms at an angle with extended index fingers and ran out the door while yelling “WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” She stopped after running around a corner away from the auditorium door. As the other students poured out she began making her way back to her dorm. When she arrived at her current destination, she sat in her desk chair and pulled a sandwich out of her bag. “Glad I prepared my own food this morning, it would've been unfair to someone else if I took their food and their money all in one day.” She said before she began munching on her sandwich, waiting to meet her roommate.

Fenris Curavine

Devoid of life, the journey begins.

Amongst the crowds the white haired boy would look up to Muralia before entering. The single eye light in blue as if falling to blindness scouting over the entrance. Showing neither amusement nor dismay from the Academies appearance he casually walked through the doors as if it was simply another day. That is how it was, the letter came in, and the father pressed him into going. Having no ground, or will to stand against the decision, he set out to partake in this place with a good portion of the young soceity.

This place was an oddity to him when compared to his lands. Even from the beginning it had seemed people were taking a feel of pity when they took notice of him. Not a single shoulder would graze his, as they all seemed to veer away shortly before. Perhaps it was the distance between them. Not the physical standing, but in a more hypothetical way. The emotions, or lack thereof, that he gave off must be the reasoning they had to avoid a plausible conversation. Or, perhaps it was even pity for his eye, or the wounded look to his eyes as he contained the slight feeling that he was crushing the family pride simply by living. Either way, further pondering would only prove frivolous.

Furthering his advance to the table, the two teachers easily came into view. Largely because the boulder of a man that remained taller than a majority of the crowd even while sitting. Approaching the table, he pulled the letter from his pocket and extended it towards the male. From the looks, it must have been the unpopular choice from the students. However, if another teacher that pales in comparison of size could sit next to him, it either meant he was not the scariest guy in the school, or she was the teacher to be feared. Either way, the motions carried out without much of a conversation, and ended with a mild bow from Fenris. It was not that he was paying respects, or showing any hospitality. No, this was a simple physical motion that had become habit upon meeting elders for the first time. Such a simple, small motion that could perhaps make things slightly easier in the future, without a single thing backing it.

The similarities to a hotel were quiet surprising, though he would not show it. A counter handing out keys, and the small case that he drug behind himself only storing minor essentials. The only half luxurious thing he brought was the scimitar sheathed into a custom pocket on the side of the case. Compairing these similarities made it easier to cope without any major surprises. He silently walked amongst the halls, probably getting turned around in a spot or two, due to the note he was descending in room numbers.

Coming to Room 112, he unlocked the door, and lazily stepped inside taking only caution in closing the door. Not bothering to eye around for any evidence of his roommates appearance, he simply left his case against the middle of the furthest wall. Stepping towards the bathroom, he reached to the back of his head, undoing the bind that held on the eyepatch. Leaning over the sink towards the mirror, he looked over his face. Namely for any build up that was under the patch. Of course both eyes would share that lifeless color, only one being capable to function. The sharing of a mutual lack, neither seemed to grasp the world of life. Both constantly on the verge of tear, yet neither ever shedding a drop.

After a couple minutes of washing his face via sink, Fenris stepped back, wiping his face with one of the prestocked towels to dry. After which, he would pull back on the eyepatch, watching in the mirror as to not get in wrong. The metallic surface tied to cloth was meant to keep the bad eye in complete darkness, whilst protecting it. Silently grazing the metal with his fingers he turned away from the mirror and walked for the door. He had long since adapted to being blind in this way, as it had become a pattern for him to clean it at least three times daily.

Long past the room, Fenris could find himself walking the halls simply waiting. He didn't want to scout out classes, he didn't want to engage others in conversation, he just wanted to be what he was. That is of course, until one individual finally plows into him. His stance held firm for the most part, only his right leg falling back for the additional support. And just like that, they were gone, only a small whisk of red hair was seen before the target went out of view. It was pausibly the first encounter he had within the walls of Muralia with another student, however he paid it no extra mind. Instead he continued walking down the hall letting every thought of this disappear as quickly as it came.

But, just as quickly as it left, it would come yet again. This time however, the person would stop before him, her arm motions seemingly matching the gibberish she spewed. It took him a minute to actually collect what this small blue haired girl was saying before he could respond. Lazily pointing over his shoulder, the girl seemed to take heed and run off. This time, he actually watched for a mild second. Those lifeless eyes countering the lifely scene they had merely rested on.

Before long, an announcement would be made, giving him something mildly productive to do, along with a reason to do it. "Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all." This 'rude' announcement was something that could easily coincide with Fenris's normal world. Something that would give him order, and a purpose without him having to make the decision himself. His own train of thought, was like that of a tool.

Soon, he would make his way to the auditorium, where an abundant amount of the students had already gathered. He took no time to look around, and instead took the first open seat he could manage to find. And as the assembly began, he sat as if some mindless drone. The uncaring eye holding no judgement on the pureblood on stage other than the fact that this man was head of council, and a decent man in his father's eyes. This event was rather basic, and halted pretty much any unnecessary emotions that would normally be present in these things.

The only mild surprise that came by was when his name was called to come forward. Fenris stood, walking towards the stage holding the face he carries everywhere. Just because it was a mild surprise did not mean he needed to be filled with emotion. No, he was told to do so, and he would do it, that was all these tasks ever needed. His gaze did not break to the other students as he climbed the stage and sat. Even when the girl came to join his side. Feena, Darius, Student council. These three would be a decent portion of his new Academy life it would seem.

With one last 'uplifted' outburst, everything came to a rap. Once again, such a simple order was given, and he would obey. Fenris stood to follow the speaker Darius as he was joined by a fox demon. From his positioning within the auditorium, most likely a guardian. That is right, this academy held all the ranks alike. And Fenris was plausibly the only pureblood short of a guardian for now. This was the result of prearranged guardianship under his race's pattern. Such a person had ceased to come thusfar, so he has been forced to come alone.

Andri Nav'iadar and Rei Lic'Tre

Somewhere within the halls stood a particular diverse duo. The more active girl moving to either side of her blue haired twin held the paper close as she tried to gather some sense of direction."You got lost already didn't you Andri?", The sister spoke, only gaining a response when Andri started marching off in a direction. Patiently following this vibrant girl, this sapphire eyed girl simply wathed the doors pass. "Or is it you are just randomly exploring again, and keeping me from the map so we can't do what we need to?" Her voice remained rather indifferent, signifying this has happened before, as well she already acknowledged the fact that they had the random time to waste anyhow.

The force and speed of which Andri whirled around brought Rei to a quick stop, the huge grin spreading across her lips by her sister's question going unfaltered. "May~be", come round this response, her twin couldn't help but proceed with the odd habit of tilting her head. "Nothing's wrong with a little exploration, right?", her red hair would bounce as she tilted her head alongside with Rei's. Grabbing onto her sister's hand before moving on forward. Her head seemed to hold a little higher as she dragged about her sister, a small innocent smile coming to her lips as she led on. Rei in the back, stared at the backside of her sister, eyes nearly closed but a miniscule smile resting on her own.

Letting her sister have their own way for this short period, Rei would simply accept being pulled around. This could last a rough thirty minutes before she wanted to fall into the normal routine and get things done as they were supposed to be. "Hey-Hey, Andri. I wonder if we will be roomed together at the Academy.", The question was both from her own curiosity and slightly out of manipulation. And as if by key, Andri would look to her sister with that small gleam in her eyes. Of course both of them wanted to be roomed together, it would be more than a bliss just to stay close together. Grinning shortly, Rei knew that she had already well caught her sister's attention, "Shall we go find out then?"

Filled with renewed invigoration, Andri pull Rei into a run, neglecting to look at the map. It was not that she was simply overlooking the fact that she could check the map for direction. No, Andri was rather talented when it came to remembering things she explored, and checking the map would simply be a stall. "Hurry hurry!" Andri would laugh out, pulling harder as her sister began to fall behind. "Andr~i.. Can't you slow down just a hair? You don't have to hurry that much.." Her breathes were obviously slightly off, she was not as used to running as her red counterpart. It was even slightly embarrassing to see those around taking a few random glances as they passed. "Andri.. We have more than enough time.." It had seemed her own manipulation of Andri was shorter than her stamina capacity. "Nope! I want to find out!"

As the two continued to run Rei could only become heavier in breathe. That is probably at fault for Andri dragging them up to the second floor on her exploration route. But by the time they made it to the ground floor, she could feel the grip from Andri slowly breaking. Sure enough, Andri's hand would slip out and she would continue running forward. Her period of excitement to great for her to realize what had occurred. Then again, Rei could not blame her, as the thought of the two rooming together for years to come was extraordinary. "Geez, you could have left me the map Andri!" The meek chuckle escaped her, knowing that she needed to chase after the energetic twin if she didn't want to be left behind.

Andri Nav'iadar

Andri continued down the halls, not letting a mild shortness of breath stop her. She wanted to know that she would be the one rooming with her sister. To her, it would be more than a blessing if it could only be true. And with even the slightest possibly, she was driven forward. Even when her reckless running made her crash into someone, she quickly pushed herself around him to continue. "Sorry!", She shouted behind her before rounding the next corner.

It was odd how often Andri's current thoughts and actions would contradict eachother. As of now her only mind set was how she wanted to remain close to Rei throughout the Academy. Sharing as many classes as possible, as well sharing the same dorm room. However, the fact that she just completely left the source of her thought behind, completely bypassed her set path. And due to the consistency of these ways, it was very rarely taken to heart by either party.

Upon entering the Lobby she finally slowed to a walking speed, digging through her small bag as quickly she could whilst approaching the table, often colliding with people also making their way to the two teachers. Stopping before them, it took her an additional few seconds to locate the letter and slam it on the table almost in triumph. "I would also like to pick up the key for my sister Rei Lic'Tre!", The wide grin on her face as her eyes were closed didn't seem to phase the teacher's as they only put her room key on the table. Opening one of the ruby eyes she looked down at the key, slightly confused."Um.. And the key for my sister?" It was the mountainous man that chose to talk, "Only if you have her acceptance letter." Andri took a short glance to her bag, knowing full well she did not have the sister's papers. "Plea-" "No." She was cut off, the small rejection making her nab up the key and turn away.

Rei Lic'Tre

Rubbing her head at the thought of being ditched yet again by Andri's latest source of excitement, Rei took a moment before continueing her flawed spring after the firey twin. And it was not long after until she pretty much lost sight of her completely. Breath worn, she would stop before a white haired individual. The fact that he was wearing an eyepatch, and stood shirtless was more than an oddity to her. But, continueing with her mission, breathe worn as she may be, she attempted to find out if he spotted her sister.

"Have you seen my sister." She tried to speak clearly, but the heavy breathes from running seemed to be distorting her words into something slightly less than understandable. Going through hand motions, first she started with holding one at her height, the grabbing her hair and splitting it into twin tails, meanwhile keeping to short words. "Short, Red, a little too energetic?!" Even through her own mind this was a rather horrible way to ask somebody about another. But, it did somehow seem to pull through as they pointed over there shoulder. "So she did come this way.."

Not paying any respects, Rei ran around the guy to once again chase after Andri. Only slowing her pace when she had come to what seemed the main lobby. She had to be somewhere in there, and with this many people it was pointless to run frantically to try and find her. Choosing to move closer to the tables, she found better luck. Andri stood against the wall behind the tables, both cheeks puffed outwards as she feigned an attitude. With another small laugh escaping her, Rei chose to side by Andri before getting her room key. "So..What is my lucky draw number, Andri?"

Andri Nav'iadar and Rei Lic'Tre

Andri, hearing her sister's voice looks up, a wide grin taking place of her small pout. "109, Come come! " Already revitalized, she started dragging Rei yet again, this time to the front of the table and through a few people. "See! My sister! Rei!" She was obviously directing this to the rather large man, annoyed from earlier that she could not recieve the key. With a roll of eyes, the man took the acceptance letter from Rei and tossed the key down on the table. In turn, both of the twins stared down at the key, then at eachother."103", She spoke, both twins continueing their stare for a moment. "What is this!?", Andri turned and smacked the table as if to create a scene. "Me and Rei are meant to be-" As the man stood, both could only watch as the size difference drastically changed.

"I thought he was going to eat me!!", Andri whined a good several minutes later, after both ran for their dear lives.Rei, resting her head on her shaking sister's was in a moment of thought. There rooms were not even all that close together. It would seems as if the Academy had different plans for them already. "You shouldn't angry big people Andri. Remember, we are misfits. We need to at least be in our areas to even try to match them."

"Attention, maggots. Report to the Auditorium immediately for an assembly. This is not a request, so get your asses over here or be expelled. You have 30 minutes. That is all."
The two looked towards the intercom closest to their postition. Neither particularly caring to take note of it's harsh ways. This was the Council leader, a Demon. It was more them common for them to be addressed in this way by higher ranking demons. "I guess we should go, huh?"

The two sat side by side during the assembly, remaining quiet as both thought about the fact they were not paired in a room. Of course they understood it was a long shot in the first place, but the fact that they let their hopes grow even the slightest amount seemed like a flaw. Their hands remained clasped together throughout the seating, neither one really looking at the other. It was mutual, they were both embarrassed as well annoyed that their hopes raised just to get shot down. Both were probably slightly hurting by this, knowing that they would be seperated during the night, as well most likely during the day. As well, as similar as they were, they did have minor differences that may even split them apart in extra curricular activities.

This short moment of sorrow seemed to end rather abrubtly as Andri stood in her seat. "Raaar!?", She would scream, making very little sense at all. It was probably from the outburst on stage, as well the sister trying to cover up her own deeper emotions. Either way, it seemed to succeed when Rei started with a giggle fit. "What was that Andri?" She turned to look at her sister, who only held a smile. "It was exciting, so I said Raar. Come on, you do it too!" Pulling Rei up along with her, she again shouted out "Raaa!?". Despite the fact a few people were already piling out of the room to go to their designated position. "Come on, we aren't leaving until you do it too!"

It was obvious that Andri had deeper meaning that just being random. She knew that Rei was uncomfortable and wanted to break them both out of this mind set. Rei gently smiled, letting out a very quiet repitition of Andri before speaking again. "Isn't this supposed to be embarrassing?". Andri didn't seem to care, rather she lurched Rei's arm upwards again. "Louder! Go Raaaaa!?" Andri's wild smile was quickly breaking down Rei's barrier. And regrettably Rei did burst out "R-Rawr!". The silence that followed was almost unbearable until Andri burst out laughing. "Rawr? That is too cute Rei! Forbidden cute almost!". Turning mostly red, Rei quickly stood up. "Shut up or I will leave you here!" And just as she said, she had started to walk away, though not breaking her hand away from Andri's grasp. "Awww, don't leave me behind Rei!!", She whined playfully, tagging closely behind.

Arawn leaned on the side of the wall waiting for the crowed to lessen when he spotted someone staring at him she had thin brown hair and what seemed like pale skin she stared for a second then turned away and left the auditorium. That kind of thing was normal for Arawn because of his "unique" looks, as he called them, he was use to people staring and avoiding him. After a minute or two the the auditorium was almost empty so Arawn made his way out and started to head towards his room.

After making a few wrong turns he arrived at the hall which held his room he walked down the hall till he found room 104. Arawn slowly opened it and looked around to see if anyone was inside but it was empty so he threw his stuff on one of the beds and looked back at the open door into the hallway. "So this is what school's like... I was hoping I wouldn't stand out so much but it seems like it cant be helped." Arawn said as small student turned into the room still looking at the map "Can you help me I seem to be lost." Then he looked up and saw Arawn at least twice his height if not more with pure white hair and red eyes, from most peoples perspective he is either scary or looks like a delinquent, he then jumped back out of the door way and slowly tried to slip away "Sorry never mind I got to go bye." He said so fast Arawn could barely understand him. The boy took off down the hall but it didn't shock Arawn he just sighed and walked over to his doorway and took a step out to see who would be in the rooms next to his. "What a great start to the school year."
