Name: Daniel Rivera
Age: 20
Code name: Shepherd
Gender:Male
Race: Human

Description: He is a slightly tall man wearing an old coat and an old beret. The beret is green and the coat brown. He also wears fingerless gloves and a simple necklace. He has black hair and hazel eyes. He appears dirty some times but if told this will quickly find a lace to bathe.
Past: A street urchin he had to settle for little cash, scrounging and stealing to get him by in life. He carried a suitcase that supposedly belonged to his father where he kept odd objects and all sorts of things. He eventually got a job and eventually fell in love with a woman at work. They soon became engaged and were a good couple. She owned a large book collection in her house in which she gave him a book that belonged to her family for generations. He loved books so he was happy to take it. She was very religious while he was not. She always carried a little bible around to quote it whenever the situation arrived but he didn't care. She wore a necklace that had her symbol of her family on it and it was the key to her family's book so she wore it near her heart. He used the money he had saved since childhood to buy a house of their very own. One day he came home to find her on the floor collapsed in pain. She was diagnosed with a terminal illness. On her death bed she asked him to find his purpose in life and to not be saddened by her passing. On that he failed. After the funeral he went to the house he bought and grabbed his suitcase. He put on his old clothes, her necklace and took both books with him as he burned the house vowing to find his purpose.
Weapon: Any odd weapon he finds when not using the book.
Artificial magic: Spiritual-My magic is like a spell, but the book is the one that tells me, depending on the verse the effect is different. For example, "And the Lord said let their be light." It would be something to do with light. Another example being "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." A shield would be created around him like a shell around him. The words are spells and the book is my focus item. I have a limited type of what I can do per battle since the book can only do so much at a time. Like offensive, evasive, defensive, and supportive.
Likes: books ever since he was a kid, money, people, things being simple and odd objects.
Dislikes: complications, death, seriousness.
Flaws: He looks at his book and depending on the line he will obey that line until next time he needs its guidance no matter what the situation, sometimes doesn't take a situation as serious as he should often acting like a fool, he also may sleep in a house that may not be empty by mistake.
Fears: losing another loved one, opening his heart, people finding out about his past.
Orientation: straight
Weaknesses: someone taking the book, if the book told you not to kill the person you can't kill them, if it says run you run, if it says turn the other cheek you turn the other cheek. Since he uses the book as a focus for his artificial magic if someone takes it his power will be a bit more chaotic, if it is destroyed he might lose his magic, so he'd have to pick a new one.
