Kamin's Story

Genji jumped up in his seat when he heard his name called but when he looked up to see who it was he relaxed giving a little smirk, "oh hey Mr. R, is there something you need me for? Perhaps you'd like to give me an A after all." A few of the kids stared in horror at their classmate some gasped and even fewer laughed. Genji looked around loving the attention he was getting but knowing that they all openly hated him. He stood up abruptly spinning around and bowing several times to his classmates as he backed out of the room, Mr. Saki gave Genji a funny look as they passed each other never seeing this smug side of his student. Genji stood out in the hallway staring up at his teacher knowing that the papers were long gone, he had stuffed the papers in some other kids backpacks as he was walking to class and he knew that he was never going to see the papers again and he wasn't even bothered by it. He stuffed his hands into his pockets looking up at his teacher a coy smile on his lips looking up at him expectantly.

Mr. Ryuuzaki looked down at Genji and continued to glare at him.
"This isnt funny.." Ryuuzaki said. "You think this is funny..?" "You have a after school detention every day this week,a saturday detention too..have fun peeling the gum from under the desk and writing an essay about gum as well and you are going to have a referral form.."
"Why do you hate me so much..?!" "What did you do..with the papers?" Mr Ryuuzaki asked. "You do something every week.." "Like something has to make..you like this." Ryuuzaki grabbed Genji by the shirt not caring if he wasnt suppose to do that or not. "So.. help me God if you do not tell me where those papers are Genji.." "You will have community service every..weekend." "1st..you trash my classroom for sending you to the principle's office for talking back to me the other day." "Then you..messed up my car with paint..because I suspended you for a week.." Ryuuzaki lift Genji off the ground. "I am going to kill you.." "I'm usually never angry and I try to be nice to you..it never works." "Then...I had a parent meeting with your parents..and it doesnt really seem like they had an affect on you." "Ryuuzaki tried to calm down and he put Genji down on his feet."What is your problem..?"
"You know..what your going to be doing after school putting my papers in a file cabinet in order." "And its going to take a very long time.." "So whatever..you want to do after school it can wait.."

Genji wasn't paying any attention to the threats he had been threatened before and didn't care, but when he was yanked by the collar a pang of fear passed through him. His eyes widened a bit and he squirmed in the tight grip of his teacher, no one was in the halls no one was there to see and when he was lifted up off the ground he became panicked stretching his toes toward the ground his legs dangling midair. When he was put down he regained his composer brushing himself off he very nearly spat the words into his teachers face, " you can do to me whatever you want with me but you still have me for another semester what are you gonna do make me sort you shitty papers all year? I don't think so old man, how about I just keep doing what I do and you go back to pushing your dick in pencil sharpeners." He felt ruthless and he loved it the grin on his face showing all the evil he was capable of, he wasn't quite sure why he hated this particular teacher only that with each time that he came to class just seeing him boiled his blood and made him angry.

He began to turn and walk away with no intention of returning to class to riled up to concentrate on math problems, so he just started walking away before turning around to face him once more, "I don't care what you do to me you well never break me." And with that he gave a salute, spun around and started slowly walking away satisfied with himself on a job well done.

"I'm so done with you.." Mr. Ryuuzaki grabbed Genji by the wrist and dragged him to a classroom and locked him in it.
"Stay in there..."
Mr.Ryuuzaki went back to his classroom and sat down at his desk as he began to teach the class.He also tried to find another way he could put Genji's information into the computer. While Genji was stuck in the classroom Mr. Saki came into Mr.Ryuuzaki's classroom wondering what happened to Genji. Mr. Ryuuzaki took a deep breathe and tried to explain to Mr. Saki what he did to Genji.
"You know..you cant do that?"Mr. Saki told Mr.Ryuuzaki. "Why dont you just suspend him?" Mr. Saki suggested.
"You know that wont work..eventually he will get expelled."
Mr. Saki sighed and left Kamin's room and went back to his classroom. Kamin left Genji in there for like an hour and a half until the bell had rung.Mr. Ryuuzaki graded some of his paper work and he didnt have a 2nd period so he went to see how Genji was doing in the class room. During this time Genji had a 2nd period with his brother Kateyko. Kateyko usually sat next to him in this class.He wondered where Genji was but then he figured Genji probably got in trouble again with a teacher. Kateyko sat in his desk and felt awkward because his brother was usually always with him. Kateyko knew that Genji was having a bad day sometimes because of what happens at home with his alcoholic father bothering him and his mom being in the hospital. But Mr. Ryuuzaki doesnt know anything about this. Mr.Ryuuzaki went into the classroom and looked at Genji with a blank look on his face.
"So what now..?" He asked.

Genji was shocked when he felt himself being pulled backward, he scrambled to her upright and struggled against mans strong grip. When he was shoved into the classroom he nearly fell over and slammed himself against the door just moments after it was closed and locked, he spent that way for a while pounding on the door til one of his hands started to bleed. After that he thought about climbing out the window but being two stories up he didn't want to take the risk so he decided to just wait there, grumbling under his breath and pacing the room but then he became tired and pushed a few desks together and laid down flat on his back placing a book over his face and falling asleep.

When he heard the door open he jumped up taking the book from his face, "What do we do now? Well I'LL pretend this whole incident never happened and just go to class, it's easy to mistake me for a many horrible things and I am many of those things but a thief I am not and I am hurt that you would even think that." He hopped off the desk walking toward the door, "I think you've been grading too many papers, maybe you should just take the rest of the day off," he taunted, "give us a break from your pointless lectures." He wanted to get back to class and see his brother he wanted an audience to see his master work, he was at the top of his game and wasn't planning on slowing down.

"I'll see you after school." Mr. Ryuuzaki said pulling Genji by the shirt trying to stop him before he walked out the classroom to disappear to God knows where.He walked with him down the hall to make sure he got to his proper classroom without trying to run away."If you arent there I'm going to call your parents..again." Mr. Ryuuzaki wrote out a pass for Genji so his next period teacher wouldnt wonder where hes been at for the past 15 minutes." I dont wanna see your face no more than you wanna see mine.." Mr.Ryuuzaki glared at Genji and stuck the sticky note on his forehead to where he had written the pass. "Stop fucking up and maybe..we dont have to accompany each other anymore."
"Genji!" Kateyko said excitingly as he sprinted down the hall towards his brother."Where have you been..?"
There last period had just ended and Kateyko became curious to why his brother wasnt in class with him this morning. Kateyko was 17 years old,he was a senior and he worked at a supermarket all day after school or around the lunch bell to where he barely spent any time with Genji at school.Kateyko was more of the happy,obedient,and well mannered type compared to Genji.He lives with his Dad and also has a good relationship with him.Basically because Kateyko is probably their father's favorite and because hes the first born.They also have a younger brother named Kuro who just turned 5, their father loves and treats him the same way he treats Kateyko.Kateyko knew after school that there Dad usually likes to sleep late on friday and on the weekends,go out,get drunk and then come back home and hit Genji for no apparent reason.Their father regretted a lot of things about his life and for some reason he has the need to take it out on his son.Kateyko did care about the fact that his brother was being abused a lot but he was very scared of telling anyone because he loved his father so much and he knew he was probably going to lose his mother soon.He didnt wanna lose his dad too.He knew this was an act of selfishness towards Genji but he didnt really mean it. That is why Kateyko suggested a lot to Genji to never come to school if he was bruised too bad.Or to sleep in his room with the door lock until he came home so they could share the same bed together.Their father also had a problem with drugs so Genji's father would sometimes do almost anything just to get his hands on it.Even if it meant involving one of his family members. If Genji wasnt there to cook or do the things he wanted him to do all day long, especially babysit Kuro while he or Kateyko were out his father would try to kill him.
Mr. Ryuuzaki then wondered why Genji and Kateyko act so different from one another.He didnt understand their behaviour at all.Especially since they both probably lived under the same roof.Mr.Ryuuzaki then gave Kateyko a warm smile.He didnt really mind if Kateyko talked to his brother for a moment because he knew Kateyko was a good kid.

When Genji saw his older brother coming over he averted his eyes swiping off the pass from his forehead crumpling it into his fist with no intention of using it. He kept his eyes to the ground not wanting to meet his brothers eyes and brushing his hair down not wanting his brother to see the rather large scar over his left eyebrow that he had gotten the night previous, Kateyko didn't usually walk in on one of their dads many beat down session but last night the side door opened at the wrong time their father, clenched fists standing over Genji's shaking body an arm raised to in defense. And what did Kateyki do? He cooly walked straight to his room like he had seen nothing, Genji didn't blame his older brother for what happened most every night, he blamed himself. Remembering during one of the worst beatings he had ever gotten his father screamed in his face that it was Genji's fault that his mother was sick, and he was right. His mom had been sick ever since he had remembered being told that she started getting since he was born, and it didn't help that when he was young he would always make his bother crank up the air conditioning when their dad wasn't home even in the winter. This made their mom even more sick becoming bed ridden and nearly died when she gave birth to Kuro, he remembered them bringing in the huge machine to regulate her breathing and how expensive the hospital bed was. He loved his mother with all his heart and used to visit her in her room all the time but when dad found out he was going into her room he didn't just beat him but made him addicted to opioids for a month before forcing him to go through withdrawal causing violent episodes of seizers and vomiting. He still had cravings for the drugs to this day but never gave in to them, he told people who sometimes saw a bruise or two that he had gotten them from skateboarding not wanting anyone to think he was weak.

He looked back up giving a half smile at his brother making the silent unspoken agreement to forget about last night clapping a hand on his brothers back. "What's up, bro ready to go?" he asked wanting to do anything to get away from his much hated teacher.

Kateyko ignored the fact that Genji looked down like he was trying to ignore him on purpose and he frowned a bit but then tried to smile."Hey man,well..we dont have the same period together right now."Kateyko said as he smiled at his brother. "I'll see you at lunch later..possibly." Kateyko patted Genji on the head stroking his hair a bit and started to leave to go to his next class."Bye..Genji make sure you go straight home okay..?"
"He cant.."Mr.Ryuuzaki said as he looked at Kateyko.
"And why is that..?"
"Hes in trouble..he has an after school detention with me."
"For how..long?"
"Maybe..like a 2 hours." Mr.Ryuuzaki said. "It would be longer but I have a child to take care of and I cant keep her all day with a babysitter."
Kateyko looked at Genji and frowned at him."Come on dude.stop playing like that."Kateyko sighed a bit knowing how hard it was to pick Genji up and bring him to work with him."I'll try to pick you up after your done..I dont really want you staying at home." He didnt want Genji to stay at home because he knew if Genji went home late their father would be pissed.
Mr. Ryuuzaki became a little concerned as he looked at Kateyko but he didnt ask him anything because he didnt wanna be too nosey.Mr. Ryuuzaki then looked at Genji a little curious before he watched Kateyko walk away.He then opened the classroom door and waited til Genji went into his next classroom.
"Go..I'm pretty sure since lunch is after this you can probably behave for 30 minutes or calm down.What can you possibly do then?'

Just standing there and listening to their conversation was painfully boring and all he wanted to do was leave, he was used to people talking about him like he wasn't even there what he wasn't used to was his nemesis and his brother talking all buddy buddy. When Kateyko mentioned picking him up Genji looked down again knowing why he suggested it and frowned, and when his brother had left he didn't try hiding it when he rolled his eyes when Mr. Ryuuzaki spoke walking into his next classroom, "Yeah," he replied scoffing, "I'll be be sure to get right on that."
He sat in class not really listening to the teacher the entire time, instead deciding to spend his time doodling all over his notes. He was contemplating just skipping the detention but he was sure that Mr. Ryuuzaki would only get him the next time, " I got better shit to do with my time," he thought to himself shading in the spots on a giraffe with sunglasses. Most of the time he usually just forgot about how bad of a situation his mud puddle of a life was but he couldn't shake the image of his brother just staring at him laying there on the floor making Genji realize how weak and pathetic he really was. He was beginning to think of everything and then he shook himself out of it remembering just to push it all back like he usually does, forgetting about his thoughts and feelings about everything focusing instead on the rocket ship going to Saturn.

When the period was over he met up with a few of his buddies then saw his brother waving him over. "Hey I'm gonna take my skateboard after school so don't come pick me up I got stuff to do anyway." He didn't want to go home but he definitely didn't want to get picked up by his brother he'd rather just mosey about downtown and see if he couldn't get someone to buy him a pack of cigarettes again, he was on his last one and was looking for an excuse to buy more. "Need me to pick you up anything?" he asked pretending he was going somewhere practical to avoid suspicion.

"Nah..I'm good."Kateyko said smiling brightly."Dont..get in too much shit okay..?" He said jokingly ruffling his brothers hair." Just make sure you get home at the right time..atleast..." "I'll be home later.." He put his school bag in his locker,he then gave Genji some money."That'll keep you a little busy." Kateyko left walking the other direction down the hall leaving his brother to do whatever he wanted. Mr. Ryuuzaki waited after school like he usually did and sighed in frustration knewing Genji was going to skip his detention. Ryuuzaki left like after an hour to go back home to his daughter.Ryuuzaki's daughter had reddish, curly brown hair, hazel eyes that she had gotten from her mother and she was the most adorable little girl he had ever seen in his eyes. And he loved her to death.
When Kateyko walked into his home placing his bags down on the floor his little girl darted in his direction and jumped on him hugging him tightly and making him laugh.He picked her up and held her close.
"I miss you too baby."Mr. Ryuuzaki said laughing as he kissed her on the cheek multiple times making her laugh.
Erica giggled at her father."Daddy I wanna show you something!"
Her babysitter told Mr. Ryuuzaki to have a good evening as she usually does, telling him that his daughter was well behaved and left the house with some cash giving to her by Kamin.
"Okay..okay!" Kamin said excitingly smiling as he put his daughter down on the couch. She showed him a picture she had drew and his eyes lit up as he complimented and took the drawing from her as a gift. Kamin was also very tired and he didnt really have a lot of energy to spend any time with his daughter which made him a bit sad because he knew that bothered Erica. He took a shower and tried to get ready for bed.
Kamin laid on the couch for a bit playing with Erica but he soon started to fall asleep.Erica frowned a bit at her dad,she kissed his forehead and layed ontop of his chest and fell asleep. After a couple of hours Erica had woke up and she started coughing which made Kamin wake up.He didnt realize him and his daughter had fell asleep together.
Kamin yawned waking up slowly as he heard her cough he felt her forehead realizing that she was sick.
"Oh no.."Kamin said sighing as he started to frown he became worried. He picked up Erica to bring her to the kitchen to give her some medicine."I need you to sit up sweety.."Kamin told his daughter softly he could tell she was getting a fever.
Kateyko was at work all day hoping his brother was alright while as usual there father was at home drinking all day. It was only around 5 o clock in the evening it wasnt that late.

Genji grabbed his skateboard from his locker before heading out, he talked to a couple guys trying to find out who knew someone who couple get him some smokes. Finally when he talked to Hiro who told him that, while he couldn't get Genji cigarettes, Hiro knew a guy that got marijuana for a low price. Genji told Hiro to text the guy to meet him behind the liquor store in 20 minutes, when Hiro agreed Genji left pushing a small scrawny kid into a locker on his way out. He rode his broken down skateboard downtown for a while loving the feel of wind in his hair and as the sun was setting low in the sky Genji found himself at the liquor store handing an older man money and receiving a small plastic bag in return. They both talked for a while smoking joints outside the store talking about how the police system in the town was junk and getting high off the surprisingly strong weed. Ten minutes later they were laughing about a joke that Sho, the man selling drugs, had just made about the school system when who would turn around the corner of the liquor store but Genji's father a bottle of hard liquor in his hand seeing his son his eyes went wide. Genji's eyes matched that of his fathers just registering who it was he dropped the almost non-existent blunt onto the ground and sprinted here his father chase after him. He had left his skateboard and the rest of the weed he payed for behind but didn't care he ran all the way home his dad almost catching up to him every once in a while nearly grabbing him but he made it home safely long after the sun had set. He ran into the house stumbling over chairs and tables along the way racing toward his mothers room his father not far behind, he ran into the room slamming the door on his face locking the door. He pressed his back to the door which was now shuddering from being pounded from the other side screams of rage drowning out any noise as Genji laughed in relief sliding down the door into a sitting position. Because of the shouting and the drugs Genji didn't hear his mother calling out to him asking him to hand her the pills she had to take every three hours, and by the time the pounding and shouting subsided Genkji had fallen asleep.

Genji's father's name was Takashi. Takashi had been drinking for the pass 20 years and always acted like hes lost his mind. He took a break from cursing and banging on the door and went back into the living room to watch TV. You could hear Kuro crying in the other room from out of fear as he heard his father scream.Takashi didnt mean to upset Kuro but he was angry at Genji.Takashi was a little more stress today because his wife was getting sicker and it seemed that her condition was getting worse. When he had checked on her in the other room she wouldnt stop coughing and she had even puked while laying down in the bed. Takashi tried to help her take her medicine and clean her up.
"Genji..get the fuck out here and get your brother to shut the fuck up while I help your mother or I am going to kick your door down and beat your ass!" Takashi screamed as he then went over to the coffee table to pick up his phone and call a doctor for his wife. When the doctors came they checked Hikari before soon having to carry her out of her room and put her into an ambulance. The doctors had told Takashi that his wife would be alright for now but she was going to have to stay in the hospital until she had gotten better. Takashi could no longer take care of her on his own with Genji. Before the doctors had left they had told Takashi that he could visit his wife in the hospital and so could his kids. It wasnt long before Takashi started to drink more trying to get his mind off his wife as he then heard someone knocking on the front door. He went to go see who it was before realizing it that one of his friends Minato who was a drug dealer. Minato was 25 years old, he lived on the streets most of his whole life,he has a wife but she ran away from him a long time ago with their child and he sells drugs. He had dark blond hair,green eyes and he was 5,9. He usually always sold Takashi drugs for money but this time Takashi had realized that he didnt have any money on him and he was about to go nuts.
Kuro then started to cry for Genji as he screamed his name wanting his brother to come in the other room with him.Minato's eye twitched a bit as he heard the baby cry.
"Genji come take care of your brother right now!" Takashi screamed.
Kamin had realized his child was sick and that he was going to have to spend the rest of the day trying to take care of her. He knew if she was sick the next day that when Genji went back to school there would be a substitute teacher that he would absolutely take advantage of.Kamin planned on not going to work the next day. However, he knew Genji would probably destroy the school.
"He is going to have to die..."

Genji held his breath and counted

Then let out a huge sigh walking through the living room toward his younger brothers, "yeah, yeah I'm going already." He said in an irritated voice, he was already plummeting into a state of depression from his mother being taken to the hospital and was now coming down from his high beginning to feel the pain of her leaving. He he walked into Kuro's room taking a small outstretched hand in his own and laying down in the small bed next to his little brother smoothing down his dark hair and pondering what he was going to do next. It was obvious that he had to skip school tomorrow and maybe he would go to the hospital to try to see his mother, he hadn't talked to her in months and maybe he could get to do so without the fear of his fathers wrath. Kuro turned around to face Genji looking up at him and asking, "what does bitch mean?"
"Nothing don't say that," was his reply remembering that Kateyko had said the same thing to him when he was wrong and knew how he had definitely not listen to his older brothers words and laughed at the dramatic irony then frowned fearing that Kuro was on the same path as him. He hugged the young boy close feeling hot breath on his chest trying to let Kuro know that he loved him without using words.

After an hour of laying like this both were sound asleep, Genji dreamed of being chased by demons that snapped at his clothes and his skin and he ran as fast as he could and when he finally turned around to face them the demons were gone and a man was standing there instead, it was Ryuuzaki. Genji felt a sense of relief but then saw the expression that the man held it was a coy and seductive look that he had never seen before. The events that followed are not for the eyes of children and so shall not be posted, but that dream was one of the most erotic and all around best dream he had ever had in his life. And when he awoke in the morning laying on the floor of his brothers bedroom he had to make his way to the bathroom, after a few minutes he came out with a fresh pair of clothes on and went out of the house cursing himself for leaving his skateboard at the liquor store.
His house wasn't too far from the hospital and half way there he called an older friend to come pick him up, arriving in the hospital and asking the nurse at the front desk what room his mom was in, she said that his mom wasn't taking any visitors so he decided to sit in one of the yellow chairs off to the side and wait. He thought about the events of the night before of the dream he had and was confused, he hated his teacher why was this happening now, he recalled how vivid it had been and how good it made him feel in the dream and cursed under his breath, he couldn't have this happen now so he pushed the thought to the back of his head focusing instead on his mother and what he would say to her when he saw her.

Mr. Ryuuzaki decided to take care of his child for the rest of the day. knowing that he wasnt going to beable to go to work that day. While Kateyko was at school he decided to text his younger brother.
"Genji why arent you at school..?" Kateyko worried.
When Takashi had woken up he had left to God knows where in the morning and he had left Minato at his house.Minato had accidentally falling asleep on the couch while talking to Takashi.
Kuro was still sound a sleep.
Mr. Ryuuzaki felt Erica's head and realized she wasnt as sick as last night.
"Daddy..I wanna go outside." She whined.
"You cant right now..you have to rest or you are gonna pass out again."
Erica clinged to her father as he gave her more medicine.
"We'll go outside later.."

Genji looked down at his phone when he felt it buzz but ignored it, he didn't want his brother knowing where he was in case he told their father. He was nervous about seeing his mother, he wondered if she would be mad that he hadn't seen her in so long wondered if she would even want to see him. These thoughts put him down and he put his hood over his head sliding down into the chair. He wouldn't stop torturing himself with all of these thoughts until finally he couldn't take it anymore and stood up walking out of the hospital. On his way out the nurse said to him, "oh, she can see you now." But Genji only muttered in a low voice, "I don't want to see her anymore," and walked out.
He was so depressed that he would do anything to not feel like this, to not feel like anything. And as he walked down the street out of the corner of his eye he saw someone who called his name, "hey Genji, you gotta minute?"
It was his old dealer, someone who he didn't see very often but someone that he knew that could get any amount of practically anything. And that anything included opioids, Genji stood there for a minute contemplating whether or not he was going to do what he was about to do.
